- Miray Hotel

This hotel is located 70 metres from the beautiful Cleopatra Beach. There are numerous restaurants, nightlife and shopping opportunities in the vicinity. The centre of Alanya is just around 700 m away and there is a plethora of attractions such as Alanya Castle, Alanya Dockyard and Arsenal, the Red Tower, Alanya Archaeological Museum and Damlatas Cave. There are links to the public transport network about 400 m away and Antalya Airport is approximately 120 km from the hotel.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This hotel had all I wanted for my holiday, even more. The hotel is rather old and could use some refurbishment but it was spotlessly clean. I always admired how the tiles on the balcony were clean. It has large balconies and all have at least a partial view of the sea. The food was really good. The choice for breakfast was every morning the same but it had something for every taste, while dinner every night had variations of the main meal and soup and zillion kinds of salads. The choice of sweets and fruit was a little poor every night the same. Having in mind it is a 3-star hotel with the half board it was really good. And I must say I could not understand from previous reviews it has a restaurant on the top floor with a wonderful view of the sea. The staff was friendly and looking forward to helping. Honest good people. This was my second time in Alanya and in the previous hotel (4-star) I really didn't have such a positive experience. It is situated close to everything and the beach in this part has an easy entrance which was important since the sea wasn't too calm :) In Alanya, all hotels are for my taste too close to each other but it didn't bother my sleep. In my opinion, the best time to travel there is the end of September, you can easily sleep with no AC. I will be surely coming back to this hotel.
This hotel is the worst I have been in on arrival you have to pay to hire a fridge you are not allowed a kettle .I was shouted at by restaurant manager for bringing water to table. For dinner at night no coffee or juice you have to buy it. 2 choices for dinner ants running over the bread .stopped eating in restaurant after 3 days although I paid for 10 nights .on departure pick up at night so no room to keep on .I asked if I could have a shower somewhere was sent down to a filthy shower cubicle with cold water never again . stay away from this place staff very rude telling me to speak English. This is from a clearly speaking Scottish woman .who has travelled a lot and stayed in a lot of lovely basic hotels but this was bad
We stayed here for a week, for my birthday. We had a pleasant trip plenty of stuff to do and very close to the beach. We were half board breakfast and dinner, very basic selection of food. If you have a fussy eater in your family like me I would recommend to just do self catering plenty of good restaurants down side streets that are good money and good food. Picasso restaurant is a recommend lovely staff and we were treated to free drinks too. The staff were always pleasant and chatted with you all the time. We would probably choose to go self catering next time as towards the end of the week we were heading out to restaurants for dinner. Also if you do decided to come the locals prefer euro but will take lira and pound. The pool is great sun all day and no need to reserve beds as there is always ones available most of the time you will have the pool to yourself!
Clean hotel, good matreses, sea view. Basic breakfast included with free tea coffee and juice. Nice its open till 10am. Pool area as well as whole hotel very clean and 100m from beach. Pool service with food/drinks. Right next to Kleopatra beach and chairs tickets can be purchased. 24/7 reception but language can be an issue as often in Turkey.
Tidy bathrooms. Fridge or safe available for 2e/day. Wifi only at lobby or pool
A very good location and hotel at its price range.
I enjoyed my stay at Miray, hotel staff were friendly and obliging and the room was cleaned every day. The beach was quite close to the hotel and having a discounted sunbed and parasol ticket was a great help for keeping the costs down.
The breakfast selection was healthy and well presented. I particularly liked the omelettes. Being a coeliac sufferer, the hotel was able to assist with gluten free meal options. There was a good choice of meals reflecting a 3-star standard. Worth a visit.
