- Kleopatra Fatih Hotel

This hotel is located directly opposite Cleopatra Beach, in the centre of Alanya. Shopping establishments, cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues are within a short walking distance. Public transportation is just 20 meters from the hotel. Local attractions include Alanya Castle, Alanya Dockyard and Arsenal, the Red Tower, Alanya Archaeological Museum and Damlatas Cave.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Sadly the worst vacation of my life. I have been to Turkey for 5 times by now and I've always loved it. I always come with an open mind and I love to try out the local food in the hotel as well. This year as we only ate in the hotel. By the 3rd day we got terribly sick. I ended up in the local hospital for 2 days with gastroenteritis. I talked to the "hotel manager" about it (I just wanted to let him know, we didn't ask for refund or anything) and he just tried to deny everything. He kept blaming the hospitals for saying fake news about the hotel for the insurance. Other guests from the hotel were sick too.
As for the rest:
I would like to point it out that we are not that picky and critical about our hotels in general. Since I tried to talk with the manager about the problem the recepitonist doesn't even look at us when we enter. Besides that the staff barely talks english, not even at the reception. There was one worker at the pool bar, he was the only one who was nice to the guests.
We thought that this hotel will be good this year because of it's fairly cheap price but this whole infection thing took 4 days off of our 7 day vacation. It was a very sad experience for us and for our friends as well. Alanya is beautiful and you should definitely visit, but please CHOOSE A DIFFERENT HOTEL.
If i could give 0 stars, i would. The absolute worst hotel i have ever been to. The receptionist are the most rude people you will ever meet. They don’t answer went spoken to, and gives disgusting looks whereever you go. The rooms are dirty and filthy, and the hotel doesn’t look anything like the pictures. We we’re promised a very nice bathroom, but received a very outdated and broken bathroom. The beds in the room were very womky. They were filled with hairs and human fluids on the bedsheet. In the bathroom there was mold in all the corners. The food in the hotel was absolutely disgusting and undercooked. The food section was very limited and the cakes they’d was so watery and had no taste at all. The employees came to our room and begged for money. We’re booked through Corendon and we immediately requested a new hotel and within 24 hours, we’re relocated to Kahya Hotel which has so far been wonderful. Stay away from this hotel, and book anywhere else for your own sake.
We had the most amazing time thanks to the wonderful staff. Great place for the kids. Right next to the beach. Rooms were clean and the food was delicious. We were given a tour of an amazing room full of antiques. If you visit ask the manager for a tour of the antiques collection. You will take a journey to the past.
Fantastic spa experience ! Thank you so much ! Only open until 8pm. Secure locker. Smaller with only 4 single massage rooms but excellent value for money for sauna, bath, facial, relax & tea, 30 min massage. Being round the corner from my hotel meant didn’t have to wait for a lengthy transfer as you do for the bigger spas. Highly recommend.
We recently stayed here from June 2nd - 16th. To set the scene, we were looking for a clean and comfortable all-inclusive hotel, located near Kleopatra Beach, that offered great value for money for a completely stress-free holiday.
Let's go through our experience: Room: 5* - Our room was simple yet functional, with everything on hand for a comfortable stay, including a spacious balcony, walk-in shower, air conditioning, safe, and TV (we fell in love with the corny Turkish pop TV station, Dream Turk!). It was cleaned every 2 days, (though they will clean every day if you ask) and considering the copious amounts of sand bought in with our towels and beach bags, not a grain remained after cleaning. Food: 5* - A great selection of Turkish-facing cuisine, with meat, fish, and plenty of salad/vegetables, with all options cooked and presented in a more traditional Turkish style. The selection of sweets offered both fresh fruits and a cross-section of delicious Turkish treats. As such, we enjoyed a fully inclusive breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with the latter two served with plenty of free alcohol. A breakfast chef was always on hand to prepare a fresh omelette every day, and, even as a vegetarian, I found enough options to be fully satisfied at every mealtime. Keep in mind this is a moderately budget hotel, so don't expect endless sushi or Wagyu beef. Just tasty, good, filling and solid fare. Location: 5* - Well located, the turquoise waters of Kleopatria Beach are just a two minutes walk away, with plenty of nearby cafes, juice bars, and shops. Heading in the opposite direction, a 5 minute walk takes you to the bus stop, with a regular, cheap, and quick ride into Alanya town itself. Alternatively, a 20 minute stroll along the sea front takes you to the old town. For those looking for an authentic Turkish daily shopping experience, there's a large MM Migos supermarket just 1 minute from the hotel. Service: 5* - All the staff were outstanding. They were welcoming, super-attentive, kind, and warm. From printing out our flight itinerary to letting us use the room 4 hours past the stipulated checking-out time so we could enjoy the beach one last time on our final day, they were always willing to go that little bit extra to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Amenities: 5* - The inner courtyard features a large adult and smaller children's pool. With newly replaced sunloungers and surrounded by lots of luscious trees and plants, the atmosphere is both cozy and welcoming. Besides the pool there's a small bar, where you can request alcoholic drinks between 10am - 10 pm from the friendly young bartender. Also, there's a separate pub/club which gets lively in the evening, with karaoke and hookah pipes, along with plenty of Turkish and Western retro hits. There's also a Hamam and massage service available from the foyer.
With a respective 3.8 and 5.8 review score on Tripadvisor and Booking.com, we were initially reluctant to take a chance. However, on closer inspection, you’ll see that the vast majority of reviews from up to a year ago, (since the hotel was completely renovated), are 5*/10*. Chatting with the sympathetic manager, it quickly becomes obvious the establishment is determined to offer its guests a stellar experience across the board, with a focus on exceptional service. Keep in mind, this is not a luxury hotel. Rather an honest place for regular people looking for a comfortable and economical holiday. We initially booked 7 days from a 10 day holiday, but loved it so much we happily rebooked the final 3 days here. To sum up: for those looking for the best price/quality ratio, a great location, kind and attentive staff, and a place where you can simply relax, the Kleopatra Fatih Hotel is a fantastic option. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.
