Stayed at this hotel pre-Covid19, back then it was a nice middle range all incl hotel, with a good selection of food. Booked it again for 14 days in august/september 2021, and it was bad! As in really bad. Food resembled simple peasent food, with no variation what so ever. For dinner they had only 4 trays of hot food, lucky if one of them contained meat, and always chicken. Salad always the same - tomatos, cucumber, plain salad and sometimes parsley. Bread - stale and day old, always just breakfast rolls and a homemade biscuitt. Staff mainly very young boys with no sense of service. Grown staff in pool bar very rude, tried to cheat guests by claiming that water was´nt includede in all incl at night, and charging for it. Pool area dirty, especially the sun-umbrellas that was stained with all kinds og filth. No rules for small childrens nappies in the pool, so it had to be closed several times. Never again!
What an experience this hotel gave us… not an experience I will have again! If you have chips, veg, or curry for breakfast then come here as there is no toaster, no fruit or yoghurt. Be warned that what you see for breakfast is what they serve for dinner. The main staff are lovely, friendly and attentive until you give them money then they act as if you don’t exists and move onto the next person who haven’t paid anything. Cocktails, rum and branded drinks are extra even with an all inclusive deal and for a soft drink it’s either orange or pineapple juice from the machine. Booked a Turkish bath for €50 (2 people). It begins with a sauna which was lovely and hot then a lady collects you and takes you into a room and to start the peeling and foam massage. You are asked to remove your top half of clothing and you lay there whilst she scrubs and adds the foam, the foam massage was lovely and relaxing. After she has finished you are then taken out of the room and onto the “relaxation” chairs where a face mask is placed on. Once dried the man (Kurt/Kai) collects you for a 30 minute massage… BE WARNED this massage is not a normal deep tissue relaxing massage. When asked he states he has been doing this for 25 years however he goes very very very close to areas THAT ONLY PARTNERS SHOULD GO NEAR!! When asked to turn over (baring in mind topless) he does not put a towel up. When you are on your back he pulls your arms over your head and places them, resting something in his trousers close to your hands. Then you are told to relax!!! He starts his morning with a coffee then drinks whiskey and coke all day! As we were staying for a week we paid for the safe (€3 a day) it opened twice then I was accused of not paying! KEEP EVERY PIECE OF PAPER THEY GIVE YOU! On a positive… this hotel is a minute walk to the beach, it is spotless and you cant fault the cleaning ladies and bar staff. The gentleman who greeted us as we arrived is an asset to this hotel. He took both our bags, sorted our Wi-Fi and safe out and then sorted a meal (soup, bread, salad, chips, meat, couscous and dessert) as we had arrived 3 hours later than scheduled.
Personally I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are some good things about the hotel. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and they were cleaned to a good standard every day. The Customer experience man Veysel was excellent and helped us book numerous excursions at a much better price then the agencies offer. The Hamam (Turkish bath) was also excellent that we booked to go more then once. The Hamam worker Naya was excellent. Other then this there was not much good about the hotel. This is the first all inclusive hotel I have ever been to where cocktails or basic drinks like Malibu are not all inclusive. Instead they have people who harass you all day to buy cocktails and shots. This made us feel unwelcome. Most of the bar staff were nice although one bar staff in particular was awful. His name is imra/emra (I am unsure on spelling). He made me and my 3 friends feel uncomfortable from the beginning, glaring at us, refusing to serve us drinks and he even swore at us and threw ice at us as well as making punching gestures (he did not smile once). We did not understand what his problem was and after speaking to the other bar staff they said he is always a problem and he doesn’t like English people. So he is a racist. He deserves to be fired and really ruined our experience at the hotel which was a shame as all of the other staff were lovely. As for the food, it is the worst food I have ever seen in a hotel. I personally am a vegiterian and had a choice of rice salad and bread to eat at breakfast, lunch and tea (not even chips). Even for non vegiterians the food was awful with the same options every day of chicken fish rice and salad. I know the hotel was cheap but I still would not say it is good value for money .
About this hotel I can say that it is definitely worth every penny you spend. The staff is friendly, especially Veysel who is very helpful if you want a trip to Alanya or the surrounding area, or want to go shopping. Hamamm is pleasant and affordable. The food is delicious and I especially like the fact that the food is served by the staff without a buffet.
Good point clean room daily cleaners work very hard
So on arriving at 1 am in the morning was greated and taken to our room the hotel has a restaurant/ bar attached to it which the owner came and greated us and asked us if we wanted food which we did as been a long day and needed something to eat. The food he served was like dog food terrible but let it go as was 2 in the morning f
The next day went down at 7 am for breakfast to find sprouts chillies and onion rings for breakfast
Not a single sunbed available as all been taken by towels So sat on the table and chairs Come 2 o’clock all Sunbeds still taken but no one sat on them you will find mainly Russian and Germans in this hotel
You constantly get harrased to pay for cocktails from the bar guys attached to hotel all day everyday and when you say no the get moody with you. All the bar staff in the hotel work at the bar attached on a night
Hotel bar is terrible you can get beer or vodka that’s it but I think this is so you spend money at the bar attached pathetic when you are all inclusive
We spent most of our time at the beach as the pool is so overcrowded
We did find the beach straight over the road yoy can pay 75 lira and get 2 Sunbeds all food and soft drinks for the day
There is no entertainment at all in the hotel none nothing zero
You get greated by the hotel rep guy who hounds you for a massage the. When you get one he ignores you for the rest of your stay
Overall clean hotel but won’t be coming back rude bar staff rubbish bar and well over crowded
If you do stay in the area visit efe garden such a brilliant place for food and drink and the guys there are so accommodating take you on trips shopping anything yoy ask
