Alanya

Just a stone's throw away from the beach and the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the attractive hotel Bora Bora Butik enjoys a wonderful location in the outskirts of Alanya. The city centre with its countless shops, restaurants and bars as well as attractions such as the Red Tower or the Archaeological Museum is about 4.5 km away. The international airport of Antalya is at a distance of about 133 km. The holiday hotel offers elegant and stylish rooms with a modern, contemporary interior decoration. They are well-appointed and features include complimentary WIFI, air-conditioning, LCD satellite-TV and a kitchen corner with kettle and fridge. The hotel has an outdoor pool with separated children's area as well as a children's playground. The meals are served in a buffet restaurant, and guests can relax having a drink at the bar. This hotel is a great choice for couples or families with children wishing to spend a nice beach holiday.

Girls holiday 2024

Returned home a couple of days ago. I like to give reviews of our personal experience, the good and bad. This is just a personal opinion and everyone’s expectations and experiences are different. We had a rather long transfer (3.5hours) as our driver got lost. The ‘toilet stop’ at the bazar is mundane, we arrived at 5:30am-ish. Obviously tired. Shemke (sorry for incorrect spelling, we playfully called him Shem sheke) checked us in, we had 2 different rooms booked for the 4 of us, and we commented we were 703 and 200 something, not in a moaning way, just amongst ourselves we wasn’t close) and he happily changed the 200 room to 708 so we were close by. He led us to our room taking a case. He was lovely, professional and friendly, and we appreciated his kindness. He was the only member of staff that greeted us for the week of our stay, spoke to us and was smiling, and even remembered our names, so shem sheke, THANK YOU! The pool is small but reasonable, but it’s mostly in the shade, so finding beds for a good sun worshipping day is difficult and the pool is cold because of this. Quite a few beds but not much manoeuvrability to follow the sun. The food was very geared towards the many German and Russian guests. We found something to eat, but the food wasn’t labelled to say what it was, so half the time didn’t really know what we was eating, but we didn’t go hungry. We thought the snack (lunch) was the best, burgers, onion rings, chips…not because we only like English food (haha) but because we knew what we was eating. On our first night the entertainment was a woman walking around the tables whilst we was having dinner doing some sort of fashion show of leather coats…a bit peculiar…then there was a Turkish night on Thursday. That was lovely. They interacted with the guests as much as the guests allowed. Other than that there isn’t entertainment. We aren’t a group of drinkers so can’t really comment on the alcohol, the one night we were having a drink we tried to double up before the bar closed and the barman wasn’t happy, told us flat out NO and was only 4 drinks per group…but we had ordered double during the day… There are a lot of cats and a resident dog. But the cats were never unruly. They would sit by your table at food times. But didn’t rub against you or jump up at you or at your food or on the table etc. they are quite nervous so won’t really let you stroke them, and I see someone say about the smell of urine…I never smelled it at all. The toilets in the bar/restaurant area needs to be more looked after. More often that not there was no tissue and wet, dirty floor and not pleasant. The rooms are quite basic. One room we had was very spacious. A little kitchenette area, and water in fridge on arrival, (and always given water when requested at reception). Not the cleanest of hotels I’ve stayed in. The week we was there only had our room done twice and they only changed the bathmat/towel once. The other room was a lot smaller, but they had cleaners most days. The views wasn’t too bad. The room I was in had partial pool and sea view. The beach is a shot walk away, up the side of the pool and go left then couple minutes to underpass. Beach bar 42 I think it is, allows guests at the hotel free sun loungers. Also has free WiFi. Lovely beach but stones/pebbles and gritty sand that gets extremely hot. I recommend sea shoes!! Not hotel related but a warning and advice, walking to the same stairs to go to the beach, but going right at the top, along the road towards the crossing and other hotels/bars/light up swing etc,..there’s a bar called La Vita, I think it’s next to or on the back of the blue coast hotel…it’s always empty, day or night. And me and my friends found out why. We went in there and ordered drinks, a fish bowl, and the manager/owner/worker said to play a card game and whoever loses pays for shots etc…we joined in laughing joking etc. then we asked for the bill. They tried to charge us £90 for the fish bowl, and for shots we didn’t as for…another couple (the only other people in there) told us as they left they got charged £65 for their fish bowl. When we refused to pay the ridiculous amount and for the shots we didn’t ask for they (tried) to get intimidating, but we’re from south London, so that didn’t work, so we gave them what we thought was reasonable and they didn’t want to accept it so I told them to call the police and they backed down. So be careful of this bar. I’ve tried to find it online but can’t. Overall a lovely holiday and stay at Bora Bora butik. If it wasn’t for Shem sheke, it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable.

Worst hotel ever

Worst place I’ve ever stayed in, food was terrible not even a toaster, was always cold and a very poor selection as well as drinks. This hotel is not inclusive, the music around the pool is the same all day every day no entertainment . There’s a very busy main road near to beach and hotel where you can’t even her yourself think .Room was disgusting under sink in the bedroom was full of hair, dust and a dirty towel. The shower was broken and the toilet bowl was yellow . So many cats around the hotel where there was a strong smell of cat uterine please don’t go here
