- Tenerife Holidays
- Puerto de Santiago
- Landmar Costa Los Gigantes

Nestled in the heart of Puerto De Santiago, this is an ideal spot from which to discover Tenerife. The hotel is 10 minutes from the impressive Los Gigantes cliffs. The hotel is ideal for families, offering marvellous views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Island of La Gomera. The excellent climate the island enjoys year-round has turned this into an extremely popular destination with holidaymakers.
Family hotelwith good staffs and restaurant also good
Food was lovely, the Terry mitsu was exceptional
Bones - very attentive staff, really good with the children. Food was really good and a nice change from the buffet (which is also very good). Thank you
We are a family of 2 adults and 1 toddler. Stayed at this hotel 15th July - 22nd July 20206.
We stayed in the Landi Village, block C.
Location - The hotel is about a 25 minutes walk, from the local beach. Very step hill back up. Lidls and Local supermarket about 15 mins walk.
Hotel - Large hotel, 3 large pools and 2 small kids pools. No issue with sunbeds, and always spare all day.
Food - we were all inclusive. The food was mostly dissapointing, lukewarm warm and very same ish. Typical all you can eat buffet type food, but on the lower scale of quality, which was a shame. I found a couple of undercooked sausages.
Staff - There were 1 or 2 staff who were pleasant and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Most of the staff seemed unbothered, and couldn’t even manage a “good morning”.
Room - Apartment was very spacious. Large living room. Uncomfortable sofa bed to sit on, but no major issue. Beds quite confortable and pillows were good. Decent sized balcony to enjoy the late evening. Apartment itself is dated and grubby in places. Needs a good refurb and decorating.
Air con in the apartment was fine and plenty cool enough for July. We even turned it down in the night and it was more than comfortable.
Issues - We complained twice about the lock on the sliding balcony door being broken and not locking. First time they didn’t even log it. Second time they again promised to fix the issue but never did. Bad customer service. Paper cups round the pool during the day, so take your own plastic/metal ones which is ok to do. Also, take some plastic straws.
Rooms cleaned daily to a decent standard.
Overall - Hotel is ok. It is certainly not worth it to upgrade to Landi and you’ll hardly notice the difference, a part from unlimited use of steak restaurant; which was just ok, and italian (didn’t try). I would not come back to this hotel. It could be so much better.
This is our second visit, we came last year. Overall still a great hotel but we felt a few things were not quite so good. Last year my children loved the kids club, but this year they didn't go as much as it was not as fun, mainly just colouring then going on the bouncy castle which is ok but not every day. The kids club staff were nice but I would say not as enthusiastic and energetic as last year. Some of the evening shows are good but some not so great. Some lifts were breaking down often. The food is very good and always enough and a huge variety. Always able to get a sun lounger, no sun loungers wars here which is always a big priority for us. You are allowed inflatables in both the pools now too. The snack bar at the pool at the top is great when you don't want to go in for lunch as they have a BBQ on and other things. Heated pools all year round is also great. We would definitely return again.
