Nestled in the heart of Puerto De Santiago, this is an ideal spot from which to discover Tenerife. The hotel is 10 minutes from the impressive Los Gigantes cliffs. The hotel is ideal for families, offering marvellous views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Island of La Gomera. The excellent climate the island enjoys year-round has turned this into an extremely popular destination with holidaymakers.
Stayed for a week Angel was polite and courteous to my party of 6 for our stay He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable
We stayed at Landmar in mid-August. For us, the remote location was a plus, and having everything in one place meant that we could just switch off and relax without having to worry about getting from place to place.
When we first booked I was concerned that it would be chaotic given that it was the summer holidays, but the resort is so vast that it never feels overly busy. We upgraded to a Landi suite but we needn't have as there were always plenty of sunbeds throughout the day (the only time it was an issue if you wanted a particular location, but even in the afternoon you could get a bed or two). With two small children we were glad to upgrade though as it meant we were placed in block C near the smaller pool - some of the other blocks seem quite a way away but everything is accessible by lift so it isn't an issue getting around. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious and had great views of the sea. Because we were at the far end of the resort, we didn't have any noise from the evening entertainment.
The food, for an all-inclusive, was really good, lots of choice and lovely fresh paella from the Nautilus restaurant each day. We particularly liked that there were snack bars or restaurants serving all day long, it meant that our kids could get something to eat at any time. We tried both the Bones and Ciao restaurants. Ciao was particularly lovely and Orlando and his team really helped to keep our kids entertained.
There was less daytime entertainment around the smaller pool but it wasn't an issue, and we enjoyed Mafer's entertainment each day. Some music playing all day would help with the atmosphere - some days it played all day, others it didn't. We didn't spend any time around the larger pool but this was definitely where the activities and atmosphere was. The evening entertainment was some of the best we have seen, it wasn't too early or too late, and the mini disco was loved by so many! Sophia and the team did such a great job! We also used the kids club a couple of times and our kids loved their time there as well - again, credit to Sophia and the team here for putting together a varied programme of entertainment which meant that no two sessions were the same. The sand park and waterpark were enjoyed by our kids every day as well.
We really loved our time here and would love to visit again in future!
Amazing hotel, really clean, really nice staff, excellent food and choice, I havr visited hotel niw at least 15 times, i started back in 2010 when it was First Choice Holiday Village and then stopped when Covid kicked in but returned again in 2023 and I've been aleast 6 times since, the only disappointment this year is the entertainment program, NOT the entertainment team, they did an amazing job and a massive shout out to Sophia, what an amazing young girl, she went above and beyond eveyday, i think the entertainment program needs big attention and the entertainment manager needs speaking to as he treats the staff like servants, they are not his personal cleaners and he needs to know how to talk ho people and treat people, he is clearly not a people manager, but other than that we had a great time, i also want to thank the bar staff who was always under pressure to make sure we were served, big shout out to Agustin, Jose, Leon and Juan, they all did an amazing job thank you all
Despite the slightly remote location, this never felt like an issue. The port is only a 10–15 minute walk away, and the beach is around 10 minutes from the hotel. Everything needed for a great holiday is available within the complex itself. The setting also means that many areas of the hotel enjoy beautiful sea views, which really add to the experience. The hotel grounds were kept immaculate throughout our stay. Staff were constantly cleaning both inside and outside, and it was clear they genuinely care about maintaining high standards. Any issues were addressed quickly, with improvements made as needed. Our duplex room suited us perfectly as a family of four, especially with two bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well every night. The food was plentiful, with options to satisfy even the fussiest eaters, and the à la carte restaurants were excellent. We never struggled to find a sun lounger by the pools. Our favourite spot was the quieter pool near the Nautilus Bar. The entertainment team were fantastic with the children, particularly the Landi Club team — Sophia and Olivia made every session so enjoyable that our kids wanted to return again and again. The evening mini disco was great fun, though occasionally a little chaotic, but the children certainly didn’t mind and loved every moment Overall, it was a wonderful holiday, and we are already looking forward to the next opportunity to return to this excellent hotel.
We had a birthday cake booked in the reservation and asked the receptionist the be delivered at our dinner at the Bones, but unfortunately they didn’t have it when we arrived , but Vanessa and all the staff made sure we were well looked after, and made sure we had a candle on my son dessert and singed happy birthday 🥳, well done thats what hospitality is about 👏🏻 food was very tasty 🤤
