The complex offers delightful local and international meals that will certainly pleas all types of tastes. Guests can visit the bar to have a couple of drinks. They have cosy beds and are perfectly equipped to please each guest’s need and make them have the best and most unforgettable stay.
We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel! The hotel came highly recommended to us by our friends and we now can see why!
HOTEL: the hotel itself is spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful. They ban reserving the sun-beds which we loved as there was no rush to wake up early in the morning to get one; one of the pools didn’t even open until 10:00am so you could enjoy a relaxed breakfast and not worry about not having a sun-bed for the day. There are two pools open to everyone which were both lovely, one with entertainment and one quieter one. We used both equally and loved that you had the option of a livelier pool or a more relaxing one. There is also an infinity pool which we didn’t go in as it’s only for platinum guests but also looked amazing and is probably the most relaxing pool of the three.
ROOMS: very lovely rooms also kept immaculately clean. Balconies huge as well with dedicated space to hang out wet clothes and towels. We had a triple room which I was nervous about as I was on the sofa bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and we all got great quality sleep. Also had a lovely long mirror (the girls will appreciate this one🥰), aircon that was kept at the perfect temperature and a lovely big wardrobe with lots of space to put your stuff, even with three people in the room. Only critique is that you have to pay to use the safe (think it was €3/day), but apart from that the rooms were amazing!
FOOD: this was my family’s first all-inclusive, so this was the part I was most nervous about. The food is very very good and impressed all of us with the quality on offer. In the buffet restaurant the dishes all were consistently different night after night so you didn’t get tired of the food at all. The snack bar by the pool was also very good, doing your typical pizza, hot dogs, burgers etc but was always fresh and perfect for if you don’t want a heavy lunch. There were also two evening à la carte restaurants you could go to once each for a weeks stay, and the food in both of those were also of an amazing standard. We also won a meal in a raffle for the à la carte lunch restaurant which is included for platinum guests only where we found some of the best food of the hotel, so if you are paying for platinum take advantage of here as the food is incredible! Only critique is that the à la carte restaurants have limited options for vegetarians, so just keep this in mind if anyone in your party is a veggie.
STAFF: this was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. Every single member of staff that we spoke to was lovely and attentive and felt genuine. We especially loved George on the bar as he was very friendly and absolutely hilarious😂. We were particularly wowed by the animation team who in the day and night kept the hotel feeling fun and lively. To Anton, Manu and Irene, thank you for giving us a fab time. We would also like to say a extra special thank you to Andrea who made us feel so welcome and was especially lovely to my dad and really made his holiday one to remember, she is a very special member of staff and a credit to the team!
PLATINUM: we did not book the platinum, and just wanted to put out there some of my thoughts on whether you miss out if you don’t upgrade as I was confused on what you get alcohol wise if you don’t upgrade when booking. You do get some branded spirits included with the regular all inclusive (eg. Beefeater gin, Jim Bean, Bacardi), but if branded drinks are important to you then the platinum upgrade is one to consider as you get Bombay sapphire, baileys, Malibu etc. You do get some cocktails included on the all inclusive as well (e.g, slushie cocktails at the pool bar, premixed sex on the beach and Pina colada, freshly made mojitos), but if you want aperol, espresso martini and other classic cocktails then upgrade to platinum to get these. I don’t think you miss out if you don’t upgrade as the beers, wines and spirits on offer are already great, but upgrade if you want to use the infinity pool, the à la carte lunch resturant and a wider selection of branded alcohol.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and are already in talks of coming back next year!❤️
Travelled here as a family in mid July 2026 on a Jet2 Holiday. The hotel was welcoming from the outset with a huge bright airy reception area and friendly staff. We had three deluxe rooms, all of which were next to each other on the first floor. The rooms were clean, albeit some of the furniture is looking very tired. Food is a very important aspect to our holiday, and we were mostly very impressed, the breakfast was excellent, the snack bar the best we've ever encountered and the buffet restaurant was good, I do feel however, that in an evening the food choice felt very repetitive, albeit the quality was faultless for all inclusive. We ate at the Al a Carte restaurant one evening which was good, but a very limited menu and for some reason two of us ordered the beef, which was delicious but didn't come with anything, despite the menu stating it was served with Provençale potatoes, I mentioned this to the waitress, but I think it was lost in translation as nothing was done about it. The entertainment throughout the day is excellent and we participated in a lot of the daytime activities. As the World Cup was on when we stayed I was disappointed that the main entertainment room was showing football for three of the seven nights, I know I am a minority but I don't like football. Due to the world cup, they arranged for the Queen Tribute to play at the side of the pool on the Sunday afternoon, this was amazing! I think they should consider this on a more regular basis, watching the live entertainment with a beer in the pool with the sun shining was a great experience, and the band were excellent. Playa De la Arena is a very low key small resort with very little going on, so most of our holiday was spent in the hotel complex. All in all an excellent holiday in a beautifully clean hotel, with excellent staff and entertainment. Would definitely return. Shout out to Francisco who was a great waiter/barman who always had a smile on his face, had some jokes with us and provided excellent service, he is a credit to the hotel.
Myself, my girlfriend, mum, dad and nan, all very different age ranges, had a lovely time, it is perfect for the family. The location is good if you want to stay on the resort, not much to do outside of it and the nearby beach is very busy with hot, black sand and very choppy waves. But there are some shops around and some restaurants and bars. The atmosphere of the hotel is amazing, all the staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful. The entertainment team are lovely and friendly, the daytime entertainment is great, the nighttime entertainment is not always as good, but is still good most nights, there is much variety. The rooms have everything you’d need. They have a good amount of storage, a bath and shower, balcony with a table and chairs. The value is you get what you pay for really. Although not all drinks are covered by the all inclusive package, the ones that are covered are good and the food was really good with lots of options. Cleanliness is pretty good. For the Canary Islands, there were barely any cockroaches and although our bed sheets were not changed much, even after a stain got on them, they changed the towels, made the bed and all of the public toilets were very clean. I would 100% recommend this for your family or even couple, I loved my time here, thank you to all the Landmar staff, especially the entertainment team and especially Irene!
Would highly recommend this resort. Rooms very clean and well maintained. Food was plentiful and regularly refreshed. Animation team engaging and friendly. The gym is good for cardio and strength training including a bench press. Platinum upgrade is well worth the extra. Alex in the Platinum dining area was particularly helpful and attentive. Already booked for 2027.
I had an incredible holiday from start to finish. The staff were warm, caring, and always helpful, and the room was spotless and fresh. As someone who’s coeliac, I felt completely looked after—the food team went above and beyond to guide me through safe options and offer great alternatives. The entertainment was the real highlight. There was always something fun to do, and it was genuinely the best entertainment team I’ve ever experienced. Andrea was lovely, but Irene stood out as truly exceptional—so funny, kind, understanding, and full of energy. She made every day feel special and is a huge part of why this trip was so memorable. No issues with sun beds, food, or entertainment. Just a relaxing, joyful holiday that I’m genuinely sad to see end. I’ll definitely be coming back!
