This beautiful hotel is situated overlooking the Atlantic Ocean close to the impressive cliffs of Los Gigantes, in Santiago Del Teide. The Teide National Park can be reached within a short drive and the airport is about 35 minutes’ drive. The beach is just a few steps away, the city centre and numerous shops, restaurants, bars and cafés are within walking distance. It features outdoor swimming pools, one children's pool and a variety of sports facilities. Guests can enjoy a delicious meal in the onsite restaurant. The rooms are decorated with light colours and are well equipped with all the essential amenities needed to have a comfortable holiday.
This hotel has some good points, The air con in rooms is good, the wife is good. The entertainment team area really good. The not great points. The food is ok at best and the bar service, wow. A good 20 minutes to get served sometimes so you miss a lot of the entertainment whilst in queue’s now the worse bit. Our room on the ground floor near the “tranquility garden” was full of cockroaches. Running up bedrooms walls and in bathroom, we ask to be moved and where told not possible but they would fumigate the room, they didn’t and then a web of lies started. They got caught out lying to me as manager said one thing and assisted said that wasn’t true. Absolutely abysmal service. The reps from TUI no help at all. Apart from offering for us to move hotels for an extra £1500 we felt completely abandoned. Really really awful service. I do have photos but not sure anyone wants to see that.
This is our second last min cheeky 3 nighter ... brilliant location with cheap local bus routes to all over the island.. or taxis with set prices if you'd prefer.. atmosphere of the hotel is very welcoming all staff are very polite and the amination team are fantastic for all ages. Entertainment was great something different every night. All inclusive.... you could never go hungry!! And theres something for all.. English breakfast!! We booked into the Italian this time which was something different.. but beautiful.. buffet style so you can fill your boots... Our room first time was much better as we was on the 3rd Floor and away from all the noise... this time room number 158 wasnt very private.. our balcony opened up onto the outside food dinning area so we couldn't use it when the restaurant was open. Im a smoker and it was abit of a nuisance.. but manageable .. Overall its fantastic value for money.. and we will definitely be returning again...
We were pleasantly surprised with our all inclusive package at tamaimo tropical. You always see negative reviews but we were very impressed. Our apartment was gorgeous and clean with pool views. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the variety of world foods! The entertainment team were a good laugh and the selection of drinks were great. We would definitely recommend to others, thank you so much!
Lovely family hotel and excellent value for money. We were all inclusive and food was of a good quality with a huge variety of different foods. The snack bar had hotdogs and burgers and chips so the kids were kept happy. The Italian restaurant served pizzas, pastas and salads with chocolate fountain and sweets. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day apart from Sunday. Entertainment every evening with kids disco, bingo, quiz
We arrived Friday 24th July. 2 adults, 4 kids. 16, 16, 12 and 9. We arrived at the hotel at just after 10pm to be told that there was no food available after 9pm we were all hungry as had been travelling all day so we're feeling tired and a little fed up but this is my only moan about the hotel. We had to just dump bags in room and leave to go and find some food. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the main pool. It was clean and adequate for our needs. We found a restaurant close by and after a decent meal and few beers felt better. From this point our holiday got better and we had a great time. The hotel is what it is, a good value 3 star inclusive family holiday. The food was tasty and varied most days, the staff were all friendly and hard working especially the entertainment team who kept us entertained and laughing. Not a huge amount to do in the immediate area but some decent shops and restaurants for those wanting variety but we justbwanted a chilled week in the sun with a decent pool. All the other families here were friendly and we feel we made some good friends. Our 1st time in tenerife but we would definitely come back to this resort again as it is good value for money and great for families with children who love a pool, chill and drinks.
