A family-friendly hotel is a 3-minute walk away from the nearest beach, it's a great spot for families seeking sea and sunshine. Playa Martianez Beach is nearby, as well as the stunning Orotava Botanical Gardens. The hotel offers beautiful views of the sea and Tenerife's iconic Mount Teide volcano from its sun terrace and garden. A swimming pool offers a place to cool off from the sun, while the designated kids' pool allows the little ones to splash around. The onsite restaurant offers a variety of buffet style meals. Additionally, the hotel has a snack bar for lighter bites and a drinks bar where to relax with a couple of drinks. Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring all the needed amenities to have a comfortable and pleasant stay.
We had an amazing week in Tenerife staying at the 07. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Vincent on the front desk! Bar staff and entertainment man were fantastic too. The cleaners were none stop around various parts of the hotel to such a high standard. It is a very laid back hotel, perfect for a bit of relaxation and a quiet get away. Food was pretty standard for a Spanish all inclusive but there is also lots of nice restaurants walking distance. I would say it may be uncomfortable it full summer as the hotel does not have AC in the rooms but it was fine at the temperatures we experienced (20-24 overnight)
The only redeeming feature for this hotel is the friendly kind staff at reception and the cleaner. I really wanted to give this place a good review because the receptionists tried to be helpful but i found the staff in the restaurant incredibly rude. One gentleman actually rudely grabbed a plate out of my hand , i was trying to be helpful by handing him my dirty plate. I refused to go down for breakfast because I can't stand rude or unkind people. Our bed was incredibly hard, I have chronic pain problems and day 2 of sleeping in that bed I was in so much pain I was nearly in tears. We tried to upgrade but apparently they were full however the lovely gentleman on reception kindly arranged for a mattress protector which helped a little so I could at least sleep. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room, again my husband went to reception and they kindly brought me a kettle but my husband had to get a clean cup every day as the cleaner didn't clean or take away the dirty cup. Why are tea and coffee facilities and a mattress protector not standard practice? The cleaner the first week was amazing and no matter how late we left our room she found a way to clean and make our bed, and always smile and greeted us as we walked past while she was cleaning a room, She must have changed shifts the second week though because the standard was not the same. As mentioned by the previous reviewer the beach is not easy to get to and for me with my disability impossible to get to. We were lucky we hired a car so we could go to an accessible beach. We saved a long time to be able to go on this 2 week holiday and I was actually really sorry we booked for 2 weeks, between the uncomfortable bed and the level of noise from the pub accross the street I was ready to come home on day 3, but i put a smile on my face and tried to make the best of it. If you are young and able bodies and like to party this is a great place for you, you will get plenty of exercise walking up and down the steep hill to get into town. :-)
This is the first time I’ve left a review wish we had done are homework before booking this hotel for a week.
This is not a 4 star hotel it’s more like a 2 star. Rooms very dated indeed one Small fan in room no air con. If your room is on the main road this is very noisy. Pool is dirty tiles missing all over the pool. . Staff can be rude. I have never been anywhere before and not felt welcome as an English person. We seen mice by snack bar and outside bar staff didn’t seem Interested pigeons landing all over the snacks most afternoon/ early evening. The beach is not 3 mins away. You can’t really call it a beach once you find it it’s more like black boulders And sea. ( work boots would be needed ). To find the beach you have to go down about 50 Steep steps We Always got a taxi back to hotel as very very steep. We never knew this area was so cloudy either so beware as we didn’t do are homework on the area .
This is a really nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We originally booked for just a week but due to a cancelled return flight (while we were literally waiting in the departure lounge!) we ended up returning for another week as there were no flights back before then, so that tells you something! Rooms are kept very clean and tidy, any issues are quickly dealt with, buffet service was good with a varied mixture of hot and cold food, and the nightly bingo was fun. Performers were very good too. Usually no problem finding a sun lounger at any time, though tends to get a bit busier at weekends. Plenty of bars and places to eat near the hotel. Puerto de la Cruze is a nice place to stroll around, very relaxed with a mixture of mainly Spanish, English, German and French. The 10 minute walk into town is fine assuming you're able bodied. Having once been to the South of the Island I much prefer the North which is less touristy and has managed to retain it's charm. Mount Teide excursion was great, and also the whale watching and star gazing, which can all be booked in the hotel. Would definitely consider returning here for some winter sunshine! Thank you to all the lovely staff :)
Brilliant holiday 17 nights fantastic didn't want to leave we had a great time.
