A nice little hotel
I really enjoyed staying at GF Noelia in Tenerife. It is a basic hotel/ apartment with a nostalgic decor but very well appointed, near the beach, supermarkets and bus station. Everything is very clean, nice beds, good shower and fluffy towels. Maybe too much furniture and mirrors in the room. I booked it through Jet2 and knowing I would be arriving late I contacted them directly and asked to have a snack ready. The restaurant closes at 9.30 pm and I chose half board, When I arrived I had a pick nick bag waiting in my room. Over the week I was made feel very welcome, the staff was great! The food was basic but okay.. There was music every night I and booked a trip to see mount Teide, which is a must! Only found out later that you could also go on a boat trip locally through Pack & Go, which has a shop in Puert Cruz town. Overall it is a three star hotel. Don’t expect luxury and if you want good food go to a restaurant.

Clean
Location is 15mins walk to black rocky beach. Hotel is dated but very friendly and clean. We were all inclusive never saw any snacks,very Spanish not many English there. Food was adequate but pork every evening and lunchtimes. Had boiled eggs for breakfast but wad not cooked. But most of food is cooked well.
Do not stay
Overall a horrible experience the food made us feel sick I found a couple of hairs in the food rooms are dirty beaten up doors falling apart bathrooms not maintained etc we had ants crawling everywhere in the room puddles of water on the floor near the fridge the ceiling of the balcony above us collapsed onto our balcony very heavy peaces of rubble could have seriously injured us if we hadn’t been out that day all they did was clean up the rubble and the proceeded to say what is the problem? when we demanded a room change you also only have a few selections of drinks if you go all inclusive the staff behind reception are quite rude the other staff working behind the bar and waiters are nice we have also met a couple of other English people which have had very similar experiences but it’s an absolute joke of a hotel I could go on and on about the bad quality’s of this hotel would not recommend do not stay here
Nice place to stay
Just got home from staying in this hotel for the last 9 days. We wanted a cheap holiday so knew with a 3 star hotel what we were going to get. The hotel is in a good location, staff are so friendly and approachable, big shout out to Tamara! She was lovely. Great entertainment every night. The room was a nice size on the 6th floor being close to the lifts. How ever there are some concerns; the rooms are very outdated and I think with a little modernisation it would look much better, the bed and pillows are so comfy which is a nice surprise for me. The walls are unfortunately thin but that’s to do with the building. We had a room facing the bus station and I would avoid that at all costs the amount of times I could hear a bus reversing was insane. Finally the food….breakfast was lovely with some good choices however the evening meals are not the same they need to be changed every so often for variety. A lot of the time i could only have salad as there was hardly any meat available and i did not want chips. Overall this is good place to stay and i would stay again but only for bed and breakfast.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
Ok so first of all this is how it all happened, prepare yourselves because this will not be pleasant.
We arrived at 1:30am and after a 4.5 hour flight we was aware that food and drink would be non existent and expected this, we asked reception for a bottle of water or something so we could have a drink and his reply was "bar and restaurant closed" he then proceeded to give us 2 sachets of coffee. We spoke to manager in the morning who told us that there are vending machines on the 7th floor and we should have been informed well bit late for that.
Rooms.... Very outdated, had bugs in the room and my wife was bitten by one, we was told someone would come up to get rid of them, however 2 hours later no one came so we went back down again and thry said we could move rooms which we did. As you can see in some of the photos attached there is a crack in the bath, mould on the ceiling, air-conditioning vents are thick with dust, tv bracket hasnt seen a cloth, bathroom door has been chewed (probably tastes better than the food)
Swimming area... It is on the roof and is very small and shaped like a U, there is no food or drink available upstairs so you have to go down to ground floor to get anything and take back to the pool, however dont be too long as the "lifeguard" doesnt like it. Wait there's more.... we was told by Jet2 on the Saturday that the pool would be closed for the duration of the next week which meant we had no where to sit and enjoy the sun, however the hotel failed to mention any of this to their guests and there was not even any notices put up.
Food..... Well if you want some quality food then good news the bins down the road would be more appetising, the restaurant is very dull and looks to be not looked after, needs repainting, some natural light. The food is very much the same each night, the "chefs" on the cooking station need to be trained on cooking as some of the food was not cooked properly. Some of the waiters need etiquette on customer service.
Entertainment...... It would appear they only have contracts for 6 or 7 "singers" as its the same singer each week, as for other entertainment if you are facing the BeLive hotel you can hear there entertainment and get a better show from your balcony, there is no entertainment at this hotel. They have a games room which quite frankly is depressing. No bingo, no karaoke and no proper music
Now after reading some of the reviews on this hotel I have noted the person replying says "this will be passed onto the relevant teams involved" just remeber the teams obviously dont listen as even some of the reviews after a year state the same as most recent reviews so would not be inclined to belive any of this.
If you do book good luck however if you read the reviews then maybe go and find a better hotel, thats what we done for our second week.
One positive the shop attached is lovely and the lady is so polite and friendly
