Better off at Butlins
So I have quite a lot to say about this hotel. I will start by saying that we came in a big group of about 16 of us, so I understand some challenges that come with that. However, under no circumstances do I believe that this hotel deserves a 4 star rating. The first day, I was in the pool for 5 minutes when I sliced my toe open on a loose tile at the bottom of the pool. The lifeguard was pretty helpful, although it was obvious he didn’t have any actual first aid training. Nobody did anything about the loose tile. It could’ve been glass the way it sliced through my skin. By the end of the ten day holiday it still isn’t healed. The restaurant staff were quite rude. Julie was a delight but one female manager was so unbelievably rude to our party every time we came in. Again, a very big group so I understand but at the same time she was denying us seats and giving us dirty looks the entire time we were eating. (I wish I was making it up.) Although it’s all inclusive, drinks are served by the staff in the restaurant. This is great but sometimes I would eat my whole meal before I got my drink. It honestly felt like we were purposely being ignored as a big group, but the hotel was fully booked so there’s actually no difference in workload. Some of the staff struggled with English, which isn’t necessarily a problem to me, but served to be a problem when they were the only way to get a drink with dinner. Fernando on the bar and Raul in entertainment stood out to me especially. They are a credit to the hotel. The aircon in our room leaked everywhere, at one point going all over my shoes. Shower door didn’t shut completely and would flood everywhere. I am not usually the type to complain, or write a review. I simply think that this hotel is trying to be posher than it is and based of my experience there’s zero reason it should be 4 stars. I’d have better customer service at Butlins, and I wouldn’t have to pay £1.5 k to get there.
Amazing hotel and staff
We use this hotel twice a year coming from a sister island... Each time has been perfect the staff really make this hotel nothing is too much trouble and they do there best too male your stay perfect can't wait to return

Myself and my husband are just home from this Amazing hotel which makes you feel so at home and able to relax and enjoy a totally wonderful holiday . The staff feel more like friends and family as they engage and meet you needs so well. We thought the food was great and now need to loose a few pounds ! Location is a key point as it is simply perfect for watching the surfers,walking around the local authentic area and soaking up the atmosphere ! We have already booked for our next visit and are waiting eagerly to return !! Thanks H10 Tenerife Playa ❤️

Tired Hotel
We stayed for one week would we stay here again, no we would not the hotel doesn't come up to usual H10 standards. It's in urgent need of a refurb the rooms are very tired as are most of the public areas. It needs senior management to take a good look at bringing it up to usual H10 standards. We stayed in a superior room which at best would only meet 3 stars when asked why there was no kettle we were told we could rent one for 25 euro you also have to pay for the key to use the safe. The food and drink was only fair nothing fancy. Having said that the hotel is in a wonderful location right on the seafront. The staff are wonderful nothing to much bother for them they are all a credit to the hotel. So please H10 group take a look at this and return it back to it's former condition.

Platinum experience
An excellent experience this time. We went Privilege. The dining room experience was excellent with numerous and plenty Vegan and Vegetarian options. Our animation team were as always engaging. Special mention to Natalia who greeted us with a smile every morning. The poolside restaurant was a new experience for us this time. Ayoze the chief waiter was always engaging and nothing was too much to ask We will be back in January for sure
