Terrible .. plaster falling off the walls .. balcony doors dont lock . Ceilings on floor 1 were very dirty and damp smell from halls .. food quality very average.. definitely not 5 star grade food !!!!!! ..we checked out early after 3 nights of a 5 night holiday ..
So the rooms are a good size and the food was ok just lacked a variety and was very similar each day and not much offered… they also serve your drinks in the restaurant but when they are busy you are usually half way through your meal before you get your drink.
The main bar would close for a few hours in the afternoon so would have to walk to the pool bar if you wanted a drink… both bars were extremely slow and again lacked a variety (the cocktails were not good either with the all inclusive package)
If you are a smoker/vaper this is not allowed in the hotel or your balcony but there is 2 smoking spots which is outside the hotel and an area by the pool.
There are not many fun activities in the area (more down south)
If you enjoy walking and just want a chilled holiday with an amazing view of the sea and cooler weather then this would be ideal but if you are wanting to go away for some fun and vibes and nice hot weather then this isn’t for you and would recommend the south of Tenerife.
It was a pleasant stay but just wasn’t what we had hoped for.
I believe the measure of great customer service comes not from how they operate when everything is going great but how a team works to improve things when something has gone wrong. After a shaky start the team couldn't have done more to give us a great holiday. The room was clean and beautiful and the views of the sea from across the hotel spectacular. A gluten free menu is available and allergen information from a QR code. Food was fresh with plenty of choice. I especially enjoyed the heated spa pool and hot tub. The hotel is close to the centre and I can recommend the local zoo 5 kilometres away and the bus tour of La Teide National Park.
The hotels itself and the rooms are nice. The entertainment staff are wonderful, very friendly and have a great sense of humour. Some guy that was painting and sweeping the pool was extremely rude and unpleasant .the pool doesn’t open till 10 and most of the other seating is in the shade. The food is just a typical cheap all inclusive food, same thing everyday for breakfast and lunch, few dishes change of an evening. I personally didn’t like the food and found it very hard to put a meal together to actually fill me up. There are only a small selection of the drinks you can have under the all inclusive, the cocktails under this taste like plastic. It is great value and is clean, the entertainment staff and the bar staff down by the pool make this hotel enjoyable. I personally wouldn’t come back to this hotel.
My daughter and I (12Years) are currently staying at this hotel and it is beautiful. The rooms are spotless the whole hotel is spotless. Even the poolside toilets are kept clean throughout the day. You're not allowed to reserve sunloungers as the pool area doesn't open until 10 for loungers, there are seats and tables by the outside bar. All rooms have sea views as it's built into the side of the mountain. The staff are super helpful and kind. No smoking through all the hotel except for one designated area! Nice to sit around the pool and not be smoked all over. There is one main pool and some light animation items and a smaller pool, heated mainly really for little ones. We like the quieter calmers hotels, so this suits us perfectly. The food is so fresh and tasty, with only one main restaurant, yes you will get some repetition, but there is so much choice each time you don't need to have the same thing. The pool bar offers limited AI snacks if you don't wish to visit the restaurant in the day. We are here outside of the uk school holidays, so it may change peak season, but for us this is a perfect location and hotel. You can walk into the town or catch a bus and there are lots of restaurants just streets away if you aren't all inclusive or just fancy a change. We highly recommend.
