Our 4-star Adult only Atlantic Mirage Suites & Spa opened on the 16th of December 2017 as a result from the complete refurbishment of the former 3-star Aparthotel Bellavista Mirador. The work took 8 months and meant an investment of 10 million Euros, consisting in the total renovation of the rooms and the general facilities, redesigning all the areas, including the elevating of the pool to street level, the transformation of the rooftop into a solarium terrace with a chill-out bar and the creation of brand new services like a complete and exclusive spa, a state-of-the-art gym, an indoor pool, an "haute cuisine" restaurant and a lounge bar. Our hotel means without a doubt a new model of hospitality in the destination.

Cliff edge hotel with amazing views
The location is fabulous for the sea views but please note it is a half hour walk straight up many flights of steps from Puerto De La Cruz. A taxi is a good option (€6-7). The hotel is pristinely clean. Housekeeping does a fabulous job. The excellent breakfast selection has something for everyone (except natural yoghurt for some reason). The evening meal selection includes marvellous salads, seafood, cheeses, cold meats as well as warm meat/fish dishes which varied somewhat in quality. Griddled meats are cooked to order in small portions unless you ask for extra. Desserts are sub-par but a variety of fresh fruit is always available. The second lift was out of order last week and the first did not reach the rooftop bar which limited those who could not manage the final flight of steps. There is no room service or tea and coffee provisions in the rooms although oddly, kettles, mugs etc. are provided. Inexplicably, there was no coffee or tea available in the restaurant in the evenings, only in the mornings. Hot drinks can be purchased from the pool bar daytime and rooftop bar in the evenings, if you can get there. Water is only available to purchase in small bottles with no means of filling personal water bottles so a trip to the supermarket is needed. The views and lovely staff make up for these niggles.

Wonderful stay!
Beautiful hotel on the hillside with fabulous sea views. The hotel is immaculately clean in all areas. A stunning rooftop bar/restaurant area with very comfortable double sun loungers. The food at the rooftop bar is amazing! Lovely comfortable beds in the room and spacious bathroom. Kettle, mugs and glasses provided but no coffee or tea so bring your own with you! Thank you to all of the friendly staff in the Mirage restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Drosi, Tatiana and Manuel for looking after us this week! Will defintely return

Great relaxing holiday
Just returned from this hotel after 2 week stay. It's the third time we have stayed here.The rooms are very spacious all with great ocean views. The staff at the hotel are nice and friendly helpful, especially Dennis who works there, with a good sense of humour. Elsa,Elizabeth and Manuel who work in the restaurant are nice also. Relaxed atmosphere around the pool .Location is out of the centre of the town on a cliff but you can walk down the steps or take a taxi which would only cost you 6 euros each way. You can stay bed & breakfast or like we did half board, good choice of food for breakfast and a buffet main meal at night, 18.30 - 21.30, you can always find something you like!! Need to get vinegar in the restaurant!! Wife likes it on her beetroot!! Will be back next year!!

A nice hotel food was good not far from the town centre
Amazing!
Absolutely amazing stay here with my friend! Rooms were spotless and had an incredible view. Food was amazing, and had lots of different options each day with the option to have your breakfast on the balcony in the morning. Hotel is so quiet and peaceful. The location is also amazing, with a stunning view, a short (but steep) walk into town, and very close to easy public transport and taxi options. There is a rooftop bar which we headed to in the evenings for games and cocktails (which had such a fun, wide range of options), and we were given complimentary sweets! I would just say if you are planning to head to the bar, to head there as early as you can in the evening as it’s very popular! We also did an incredible quad bike sunset tour up to Mount Teide, which was a 7 minute walk away into town. We also took a public bus to the south of the island for Siam Park, which was only 1hr 30 mins, and only cost 12 euros each way! Before I arrived, I was very worried about the weather, however Puerto de la Cruz is notably warmer than what weather apps report! When my friend and I arrived, we had asked for twin beds, however they were pushed together with one duvet. This was sorted so quickly the next day and all the staff are so lovely, polite and helpful! We had such a wonderful time here, I would come here again without hesitation! ☀️
