We had an excellent experience from the time of reservation with Reme J, check-in with ¿Oy…? at 3 pm, and check-out with Kelly. Two daughters with family stayed at the superior junior suites, and the older couple at the top, 7th floor. All 3 confortable, clean and spacious. Breakfasts, and dinner at both restaurants, Burgos & the Italian one met our expectations. Food quality, quantity and service were tops. Special gratitude for service to those who attended us on during our 4 day stay: chefs; and waiters: Javier, V. Casanova, Maria Eugenia, Columbia fellow whom I forgot his name; and additional staff. All attentive and pleasant. The evening shows were well chosen. Our favorite was the Magician’s. Our grandchildren ages 9-7 had a superb time with the pool and additional amenities. Highly recommended for families and adults. The hotel guests showed a quite civil and harmonious behavior. We shall repeat.
We had the most amazing holiday at Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel in June with our 19 month old little boy. The hotel is well-proportioned, well-kept and well worth a visit! The rooms are larger than the double rooms we're used to in England; we were perfectly comfortable.
The food is incredible (whilst not everything is fresh, there's a great amount of choice. I particularly enjoyed having a fresh omelette for breakfast each morning!). The facilities are amazing - lovely pools and aesthetics outside.
But best of all - the staff! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We attended the 'Baby club' crèche with our son the first day. After seeing how attentive the team were, we felt confident leaving him there alone on future days. He attended each day for 45 minutes, which gave us a nice little break.
If you are considering booking, you won't regret it!
Excellent food and brilliant pools. However, this is not an all exclusive experience and the staff can be rude and stingy with food and drink. I personally wasn’t drinking alcohol for much of the trip but the waiters were very slow at best and would straight up ignore you at worse. Limited selection of drinks and when it comes to alcohol on the all inclusive they are incredibly tight and will monitor you constantly. Front of office staff rude when checking in and out and we basically paid for 7 days but got 5 days worth of food and drink. Additionally, we paid for a sea view upper floor room and we provided with a ground floor room with a sliver of a view. Simply not a great experience if you are paying for all inclusive considering it is supposed to a five star hotel. There are better options in the same area.
This is one of those hotels which you genuinely can’t fault. This was our second trip and certainly won’t be our last!
Rooms: Spacious, a huge bed, beautiful views, a large balcony, shower & bath, ample storage in a walk-in wardrobe and a mini fridge that gets restocked daily.
Cleanliness: Excellent standards of cleanliness with daily housekeeping visits. Not a big deal, but the only recommendation I’d have for future is for housekeeping to take note of the do not disturb signs (which we displayed several times) and not still ring the door bell, as this defeats the purpose of the sign!
Food: Delicious all-you-can-eat food with plenty of options for both adults and children. There was always room to sit inside or outside the buffet so no need to rush to reserve a good seat!
Pool: We made use of the salt water, heated infinity pool daily. Not only is it beautiful, but the temperature is spot-on, and there were always enough sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a bar by the pool so no need to walk far!
Entertainment: We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, which consisted of singers, dancers, a magician and acrobat. The evening bar service was always excellent. A special shoutout to Javi for being brilliant!
This is one of those places where everything has been so well thought out. You just can’t fault it 🙂 Thank you again!
This is our second visit and it won’t be our last everything from the moment you arrive in reception is perfect nothing is too much trouble. The Hotel and gardens are immaculate and clean. The pools are simply amazing. The food is fantastic and so varied always something that everyone will like.
