Vanilla garden is a lot little hotel situated just off the varonicas strip. I loved the hotel staff where good pool was good how ever there was 1 or 2 things that let this place down the food on the buffet was horrendous and the air con didn’t work as we didn’t like the food on the buffet we ordered off the lunch menu the next day thinking it would be better carbonara and a pizza and much to our disappointment the food was no better that much onion it’s all you could taste. Over all I wouldn’t stay here again just on the food and air con.
Enjoyed a 5 night stay at this hotel, first time in Tenerife. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was amazing. Rooms are large and clean. The pool is a good size with plenty of sun loungers (comfortable ones) available both in and out of the sun. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and fresh eggs, bacon, pancakes made to order. Dinner was also good. Pool bar was reasonably priced, €9 for a cocktail and they had happy hour between 4pm-5pm (241 cocktails and draft beer). The pool bar food was also good, €9 for a pizza. We were welcomed by reception staff member, Zoraida who was very kind and accommodating. She explained where everything in the hotel was and offered plenty of advice in and around the hotel. Prior to leaving, she offered us a wake up call as we had a very early morning flight. All staff at the hotel were polite and kind but Zoraida really stood out to us. Would recommend to family and friends and if we were to return, we would stay again.
Had an amazing experience with this hotel. From the start as soon as we walked through the door the staff were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were perfect and spacious and the balcony became a perfect place for relaxing at lunch. The pool was perfect , extremely comfortable sun bathing areas and a calming atmosphere. We would definitely recommend if your looking for a hotel with a relaxing atmosphere, good location and effortless stay! Side note there is a very cute cat which walks the grounds:)
Spent 11 nights here half board agree with all the good comments made by previous reviews particularly the huge comfy bed, big bathroom with sink shelves to put toiletries this is usually lacking in lots of hotels. Good safe at eye level, big balcony, we were in room 122 very private with lovely greenery in front, turn left to a lift which takes you to the pool and restaurant otherwise you have to use 2 lots of steps. The pool was warm and clean and the same level no deep end. The sunbeds are amazing really spoilt us for future holidays. Breakfasts were good especially having eggs cooked fresh rather standing in a tray getting cold. No milk is supplied in the tea tray but we filled a little jug at breakfast for the fridge. Supermarket tip - go to the Dialprix just past Linnekers bar set back next to a tobacco shop much cheaper than the tourist supermarkets. Would definitely recommend this hotel although the area around Veronica’s very tacky but walk left at the bottom of the road and there are plenty of nice bars
We chose this hotel because it's a smaller property, which had great perks—the staff were incredibly friendly and there were absolutely no "sunbed wars," meaning you could always get a spot by the pool. Unfortunately, our 10-day stay was severely let down by poor housekeeping and a lack of transparency regarding room value. While our room was "serviced" every day, it was never actually cleaned. Our tea bar was never refilled, the pool was in need of a clean, and our bed sheets were not changed once during the entire 10 days we were there. To make matters worse, on our departure day, we accidentally spilled some water on the bed. When we stripped the sheets, we discovered that we had been sleeping on a mattress protector covered in blood stains and dirt. Additionally, be aware of booking upgrades: I paid an extra £200 directly through the hotel for a "pool view." Upon arrival, we realized this was a waste of money, as virtually every single room in the building looks out over the pool anyway. The staff are lovely, but the management desperately needs to look into their housekeeping standards and room pricing transparency. I would not return.
