Need help
Not the holiday I expected, could anyone who was there over the dates of 5th and 6th of october get in touch with me, I need some help regarding somthing that happend to me.
Tired decor but good location. Lacking in food choices.
Stayed here for 7 nights in Oct. Hotel location is very nice being near the seafront however access to the main entrance is down a steep hill which is not helpful with luggage as we booked through Easyjet and the transfer does not pick up or drop off by hotel. Rooms are a little tired and do not look like the photo's at all. Locks not working or not there at all and the decor just needs tidying up. Beds were comfy, do not think the sofa bed would have been though. Was not comfy to sit on as a sofa. There is a distinct lack of power points. Bedside one (only one in the bedroom) will not suit a travel adapter for the 3 pin plug. You will need the ones with the USB port. There is no daily cleaning. Room only cleaned the once in the 7 days. Beware of the cockroaches. We had 2 come to visit us during the week but there are plenty more outside. Food choices are very limited. Very much the same all week. No variety. Not much in evening entertainment but not sure if that was because it was October. Daytime entertainment around the pool which was good. BBQ night at an extra cost. Due to the lack of food choice, it would have been nice if that was an option for your dinner rather than having to pay extra for it. Overall it was an ok hotel. It served it's purpose for a base and what we wanted but not sure I would choose it again.
okay ish but not bad enough
hotel was okay, out dated but great location. maria jose was absolutely amazing, she made 2 for 1 cocktails and they were so nice, she was so so lovely thank you maria !!!!!!!
Apartments need some TLC, otherwise excellent!
Myself and my friend have just returned from a 5 night stay here. The location was excellent for us - a stone throw away from the beach, close to the strip and other bars and restaurants. Having a shop on site was also a god-send!
All the staff we encountered in the shop and on reception were all lovely (special mention to Vanisha from Guest Relations 😊)
The only criticism I had is that the apartments could do with some serious TLC. Thankfully our air con worked and we actually found the beds very comfortable, however in one of the rooms one of the plug sockets was coming off the wall and the shower could be a bit "iffy" to turn on.
However, these issues did not stop us from thoroughly enjoying our holiday and we would stay here again!

Nothing short of appalling!
OMG, this is clearly one of the worst hotels we have ever seen. Arrived pm Friday 18 but unable to check in until after 17:00 so went out for lunch and the beach. Checked in and were assigned a room on the 2nd floor, shocked at the low level of cleanliness, the damage in the room and the overwhelming stench of skunk cannabis. Immediately returned to reception to say that it was not suitable. They, after a considerable wait, we were given keys to a 3rd floor room, even worse with a sofa that had been ripped exposing the dirty padding underneath - back to reception and offered the keys to a room on the 10th floor, no different. Filthy, beaten up furniture and cigarette burns on the furniture. With that we had enough so I got online and found another hotel ( the Santa Barbara in Golf del Sur) ordered a taxi and left without staying in what can only be described as a dilapidated dump. I really felt sorry for the Receptionists who were clearly embarrassed and well used to the complaints so thank you to them but if you decide to stay here, you have been warned
