Good hotel good staff
Lovley hotel lovey food great staff rooms good and clean entertainment good all day Astra turf needs a good clean round pool We was early flight got there at 12pm room not ready till 250 pm Adults only but does get a lot of male groups in bit noisy in day but no noise at night good area for walking to playa golden mile and Siân Mall 15 min walk up hill worth going good hotel our 3 rd visit

Nothing special and rude reception staff!
The ole tropical is just your typical 3/4 star all inclusive hotel nothing to shout about, food was good, location was ok. The reason for the 2 stars was regarding an incident on check out day, our flight was later in the evening and we had to leave the hotel at 8pm for our transfer, on the morning of our departure day I went down early to reception to ask if I could pay to keep the room longer we were declined which is fair enough the hotel was full so that wasn’t a problem, the lady kindly said we could book use of the shower room to change and use the luggage room so we did this she clearly made a note of our booking, later on we turned up at our allocated time slot for the shower room gave our name and got the key, then there was loud banging on the door and shouting, opened the door there was another younger man from reception with a couple behind, he was shouting at my partner and I to say we hadn’t booked the room, I stayed calm and tried to explain that we had booked it early on in the morning with a another colleague of his he continued with not such a great attitude to say this is impossible due to there booking system and this never happened basically making me out to be a liar, I assured him we had and even apologised to the couple (the hotels fault not there’s) and said we would be as quick as we could using the facilities in the room. There was no apology from the younger man after. I didn’t escalate it any further at the time because I didn’t even get the rude young man’s name and I just wanted to get out of there at that point. I feel like better customer service at this hotel would make it stand out more from the many other very similar hotels in the area. We would not return.
Lovely visit for honeymoon
Staff friendly especially the entertainment staff - Thamas and Diego both friendly and made us laugh the entire time. Room nice clean and good air con. The small activities and the evening entertainment was something we wasn’t expecting and really enjoyed. In the day they had things from make shift mini golf, yoga, inflatable bouncy in the pool, water polo and in the evening a pool party (which we both really enjoyed), comedy nights, circus show, singers. Entertainment and the entertainment staff was a really strong 5/5 for us. The only reason we couldn’t give the overall rating a 5* was due to the noise, we knew booking a adult only it would be noisy when people come back late however our room was right infront of the lift and the noise was so bad for hours every night early hours. The cleaners were really lovely, polite and did a great job but the trollies they used were incredibly noisy every morning at the crack of dawn which then also woke us up every morning (not their fault). The food in the all inclusive was really good better than other hotels with lots of choice - the pizza specifically was great and enjoyed that you could have meat cooked fresh in front of you. Great location overall 10/15 mins walk to Siam Park and the beach, if you want to go out drinking there is plently nearby too. Pool was nice plenty of loungers you don’t need to reserve or go down early with towels was really chill.
Great Hotel & Fab Staff
We (party of 6 across 3 twin rooms) found the Ole Tropical to be a fantastic hotel. The location is great and close to everything even Siam Park. The atmosphere is brilliant the entertainment team - Tamas, Eric, Diego and Manu were fantastic and kept us laughing throughout our 10 days stay, the bar staff especially Bobby and Pawal were great fun and everypone was so freindly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Despite the hotel being close to the well known veronicas strip the noise level was brilliant and the age range of guests vary - the hotel is not just for party goers. The amenties are great and you you can hire items (i.e iron, safe etc) and all there was to pay was a 10 euro holding deposit which you get back at the end of your stay - they do not charge rental like most hotels! We stayed all inclusive and the food was very good with a huge selection, we had 1 fussy person who said the food was great and he was happy. I would highly recommend the hotel and would stay here again and again.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were lovely, the food was excellent, and the pool was fantastic. A special mention goes to the gentleman who maintained the pool—it was kept immaculate every day, and he was always so helpful.
The reception staff, especially Eisac and Clara, were outstanding and always greeted us with a smile. The entertainment manager also went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.
The whole hotel was spotless and exceptionally well maintained. We had a wonderful experience and would happily return. Highly recommended!
