This sophisticated and exceptional hotel enjoys a paradisiacal position on Las Américas championship golf course. This exclusive establishment is magnificently located between Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Américas resorts. Guests will find plenty of accommodation types to choose from, all of them beautifully appointed in an elegant and charming style. They are generously proportioned and come equipped with a large private balcony or terrace with breath-taking views to the golf course, the Atlantic Ocean or La Gomera Island. Some of them also have direct access to the swimming pool for added comfort. Corporate travellers may gather for an important meeting at the conference room and everyone might wish to relax at the heated swimming pool or at the fantastic spa and health centre, which includes a Turkish bath, a sauna and a Jacuzzi.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
As avid golfers this is one of our “go too” hotels.from entering the foyer the atmosphere is one of complete tranquility. With under sixty guest rooms and suites it is rather special. The service offered is very good indeed, it is like home from home, we have got to know a lot of the employees on first name basis. If you want a lively vibrant hotel, do not come here, because it is a very relaxed peaceful hotel, no big groups, mainly couples, so to kick back and recharge your batteries this is the place for you. The hotel is located to the side of the 4th fairway with gated access, just jump in your complimentary buggy and you are on the golf course, no lugging your clubs up and down as you also get complimentary lockers.
The food is really good quality with a superb to enjoy breakfast or dinner
It is not the cheapest by far but it is one of the best kept secrets A 15-20 minutes stroll into either las Americas or los Cristianos where there are plenty of nice bars and restaurants to choose from, a taxi back is some 6-7€
All in all a lovely hotel, with great service and a super chilled environment.
Would we go back, of course we will
Having an amazing stay at this resort. We are a couple in our mid 30s and it’s quite tranquil and relaxing. The spa is great, we each had a massage which was amazing. The staff are excellent and very friendly.
We are staying in room 2 (deluxe suite) the bed is comfortable and huge, it has a private balcony. The golf course and access is perfect. The pool is warm enough to take a swim and the sun loungers are comfortable.
All in all if you are looking for a quiet get away to relax I would 1000% recommend this hotel!
We cannot wait to come again!
This place is fab. Particularly if you’re a golfer. Give it a try, it oozes sophistication and opulence. Friendly service, excellent food, lovely bedrooms with a Nespresso machine with capsules replenished daily! There’s a large swimming pool with plenty of loungers and importantly two standout features:an adjacent bar and no canned music. A real haven of peace and tranquility. On the subject of relaxation there’s a spa with a sauna and jacuzzi. In the basement of the hotel there are complimentary golf buggies and secure lockers for your clubs. You can drive straight on to the Las Americas golf course from the hotel. It’s absolutely brilliant and gives you a great feeling of privilege. So in summary, if you’re looking for a relaxing golf holiday in a hotel providing luxurious accommodation with good food and attentive service - this is the place for you.
A very nicely maintained hotel with a well appointed and quiet pool area, spoilt by patchy service dispensed grudgingly and with an air of supercilious disdain. The hotel is located a long way from other facilities or dining opportunities, so you may feel a little stranded after a while. There is no entertainment worth the name.
The worryingly named Bogey Restaurant operates a two-tier system in the evening. If you are one of the Chosen Ones you are permitted to access the hallowed environs of the terrace. The less desirable guests are relegated to the main dining area, which has all the charm of a dentist’s waiting room. Most of the service effort is concentrated on the terrace, while the denizens of the main restaurant are largely ignored.
How the guests are filtered into their designated class remains a mystery. When questioned, the very rude maitre d’ announced with a guffaw of satisfaction that “The terrace was booked MONTHS AGO!!, haha”. However, subsequent to our complaint to the management it became magically un-booked. I suspect the guest classification is linked to their choice of designer labels and propensity for extravagant tipping.
We encountered two maitre d’s on our visit – one shockingly rude and unprofessional and the other excellent in all ways. Alessandro, who cared for us for the final two days of our stay, was the latter. The other I will not name but he will be immediately apparent to you the moment you encounter him. Good luck.
The food offer is inconsistent. Sometimes delicious, other times dreadful. Lots of overly complex dishes that are not well executed. They should stick to the basics and try to get that right before launching into an extravaganza of foams, mists, dust and jellies.
Overall, not really five star, but OK if you don’t mind being patronised.
First time at this hotel and golf course. Honestly cannot fault anything. Hotel beautiful, rooms amazing. Breakfast really fabulous and no queue for omelettes as they serve you at table. Evening dinner is out of this world level. Staff professional, efficient and friendly… nothing an issue. Food really is first class. Golf course is the best one we have played abroad. Immaculate condition. Greens, fairways. Water features and rough, all well looked after. I have to mention toilets on the course, which are also immaculate. Honestly first time, but we are already booking for next year. Luxury on all levels here
