Whether you’re travelling as a family, with friends, or as a couple, this attractive resort has something for everybody. The Hotel La Siesta boasts a stunning location in the popular resort of Playa de las Americas - where you will find heaps of shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from a lovely sandy beach, and on top of that… the golf course Golf de Las Americas is also within walking distance!
There is plenty on offer for guests who wish to burn off some energy, such as the hotels on-site fitness centre and tennis court. As well as the choice of two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, both surrounded by sun loungers and parasols to help guests kick back and relax. Next to the pool is a bar, where you can get some refreshments and snacks. The hotel has a second bar called the ‘Palapa Bar’. Guests can enjoy their meals at the hotel’s restaurant, serving international cuisines in a buffet style, with some occasional themed dinners throughout the week.
Other facilities featured at the hotel include a spa, hot tub & jacuzzi, beauty shop and barbers. For children, there is a dedicated area called ‘Magic Park’ housing a mini club with a ball pit and slides, and for older kids or even adults - a games room full of electronic games, snooker, table football and other paid services.
Rooms are spacious and decorated in an elegant yet modern fashion. All rooms are equipped with a range of facilities to help ensure guests have a comfortable stay, this includes air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe*, mini bar*, free toiletries and complete with a balcony. Upgraded rooms to include premium services like free daily spa access, bathrobes and slippers and welcome gifts, are available at a surcharge.
Ramon from the bar is brilliant! Always very chatty and happy. Food is excellent and a good selection. Rooms are really nice and clean
First time staying in this hotel. Great location Rooms always clean and tidy Ramon from the pool bar always greeted me with a big smile.
I stayed at this hotel expecting 4-star standards based on the price and the pictures on the booking site. Unfortunately, the reality is shocking. The hotel is very dirty, old, and poorly maintained. The walls are cracked, the furniture is stained and worn out, and many items (especially sofas in the bar area) look like they should have been replaced years ago. Everything feels outdated and neglected. I personally spoke with the lady responsible for hotel management and raised these issues. She told me she was “happy” with the current condition. When I pointed out the damaged sofa, she said it was “ok”. When I mentioned the unsecured electrical cables near the children’s playground, she replied that they are in the “garden” and guests are not allowed there — even though the area is easily accessible and dangerous for children. This level of denial from management is very concerning. I have stayed in much better 3-star hotels. This property does not deserve more than 2 stars in its current state. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Save your money and book somewhere else.
Just a review for the terrific pool bar team with special mention to ramon who couldn't be anymore helpful and is a great bar man
Just come back yesterday from 10 days. This hotel is rated a 4 star but definitely more 3 star.
Cleanliness - dirty cutlery to glass cups/plates. Room wasn’t cleaned properly and didn’t change our sheets till day 8. Only thing they kept clean and spotless was the reception area
Food/Drinks - We did all inclusive & wish we didn’t as we ate out most lunch times & every dinner time. The food is awful. Their wasn’t much to chose from variety rise, some of the fruit was tinned fruit not fresh, some things were cold/luke warm (even though the dish was steaming hot). The cocktails was vile, they already pre-made in a 5l plastic water bottle, tasted horrid. Unless you had Ramon serving you then he made them from scratch and they was good 🍹 the fizzy drinks was flat (unless your half board then you get glass bottled drinks) To order snacks/drinks for lunch, dinner and in the evening you need your room key, if not you won’t be served - no wristbands
Service - i think the waiters can at least crack a smile while working, most of them looked miserable. Sometimes waiting 15 mins at dinner for someone to come to your table to take your first drinks order. Ramon, was friendly and happy waiter! Always had a smile.
Sunbeds & Pools - 2 good size pools & little pool with some water sprays, slide and a water mushroom (my 4yr old daughter loved this pool) pools was nice temperature too, not too cold in the mornings. The middle pool inbetween them, is more calm one, arnt allowed any rings, balls etc in it. The other two you are allowed rings only, no other floaters. Sunbeds are ridiculous. Not enough sun-beds or umbrellas for how many people they cater for. Your so close together to people your a hand away from touching them 🤣 for 8 days sun-beds were always stacked up and locked, so no one could get them. Most people were getting up at about 6.30/7 to go down, stand where you wanted your sun-beds and wait for someone to unlock them, sometimes was waiting up to a hour/n half. Last two days, they’ve left them. Floor tiles around the pools, always seem to be dirty.
Only decent thing, is the hotel is in a great location! Won’t be returning and don’t recommend. A lot of people got spoken too while here also agree and won’t be returning but then again everyone may like this hotel.
