Very nice clean hotel. Food was really good with great choices. Staff were all very friendly, room was clean and comfortable and reception staff were very helpful.
Overall a good Hotel, food was exceptional, staff were friendly, rooms were cleaned daily if required, entertainment was good in general, it finishes around 10 pm which is early, they put on shows, dont know how regular, we experienced the White Party their 1st of the season and what a show it was fantastic!!!, Some small issues with cockroaches in the rooms, coming to the end of our stay it seemed understaffed as it was busying up, kids entertainment was limited but we came in term time, they had two kids entertainers and they get 5 ⭐ all day
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 9 nights on a half board basis in mid/late June. We had a lovely time - it is a gorgeous hotel with lovely pools, very clean and extremely friendly/helpful staff. There was a great atmosphere around the hotel with staff wearing football shirts for the World Cup and the games being shown in different parts of the hotel.
The rooms are light and spacious, plenty of wardrobe space and a nice bathroom with big waterfall showers. The only few gripes we had with the room was the air con wasn’t the best (there was a fan which really helped but this was covered in dust which I think contributed to a cold) and there is no small light for the bathroom - just one really bright main light that would definitely wake others up if you used it in the night. The beds also weren’t the comfiest we’ve ever slept on but they were okay. We had a gorgeous view from the first floor over the pool and the sea. The balconies are quite small - you can just about fit the table and chairs on there and not much else if you have the drier rail out for clothes.
We were half board so just had breakfast and some evening meals in the hotel. There are so many options - grilled meats, fish, salad bar, wok station, pizza station, pasta station, all cooked fresh. For breakfast there were omelettes, pastries, standard eggs/bacon/sausage etc, toasties, pancakes, churros, fruit, also a crepe station where you can choose your own toppings. Definitely something for everyone although we did find the evening meals a bit repetitive after a few nights. The restaurant did get busy but we never had to wait too long for a table and staff were attentive.
The pool areas are lovely and clean, there is a main large cold pool and then a smaller warmer one as well as an adults only infinity pool looking out onto the sea. The infinity pool was lovely and relaxing. The beds around the infinity pool were always taken by mid morning. There is a policy of not being able to reserve sun beds but I personally didn’t see this getting enforced as several times we struggled to find sun beds by mid afternoon but there were many reserved by towels even though nobody was occupying them for a while, so I’m not sure if this policy just applies to early morning. You also need cash for pool towels - €15 deposit per towel.
There is a gym which you can book but this is very small and has a maximum capacity of I think 5 or 6 people. The treadmill was out of order and the free weights only go up to 20kg so what you can do in there is limited.
The location is great, it’s right on the beach front and only a short walk away from the golden mile. There’s a gate leading onto the beach which opens using your room key wristband. There is security on the front door who checks wristbands as you enter so only residents can go into the hotel.
We had a late flight home and were able to get a courtesy room for over an hour as nobody else had booked it before/after, which we were really grateful for! This can be booked at reception from 8am on the day of checkout and is a proper room with beds and a bathroom.
The staff really are lovely and so helpful, especially on reception. We had a lovely holiday and definitely would stay again.
Overall, we had a good holiday, but there are definitely some areas that could be improved.
The biggest frustration throughout our stay was the lifts. Although there were four main lifts, they simply weren't enough for a hotel of this size, particularly at peak times such as breakfast, dinner and the evening entertainment. It wasn't unusual to wait 10 minutes or more for a lift with enough space, and the doors closed incredibly quickly, barely giving you time to get in. This was especially difficult when trying to manoeuvre a pram and became quite frustrating over the course of our stay.
The pool area could also do with some attention. The pool itself often looked dirty, especially in the mornings, with noticeable algae, scum, loose tiles and dead bugs floating in the water. It didn't seem to be cleaned thoroughly enough each day, and the poolside was often sticky and dirty. On one day, the children's splash pool even had a noticeable green tinge, which was a little concerning. The hotel also had a no ball games policy in the pools. We completely understand not allowing disruptive games, but even small, soft toddler balls weren't allowed, which felt a little unnecessary.
On our last day, we asked if there was a courtesy room available after a reasonable timed check-out, as many hotels offer these, especially for families with young children. Unfortunately, they only had two courtesy rooms, which were fully booked. Travelling with a small baby, it would have been really helpful to have somewhere to freshen him up before our flight.
One small thing we found a little unusual was the opening times of some facilities. The snack bar didn't open until 4pm, and the dedicated coffee shop only opened from 5pm onwards. It would have been nice if these were available earlier in the day.
The food was one of the highlights of our stay. There was an excellent variety every day, the quality was consistently high, and everything was always well stocked. The themed nights kept things interesting, the à la carte restaurant was fantastic, and the drinks and cocktails were excellent, some of the best (taste and selection) we've had at an all-inclusive hotel. The dining room staff also deserve a mention, as they were always warm, welcoming and attentive.
A special mention goes to the animation team. They were fantastic with the children … so friendly, engaging and full of energy. They made a real effort to involve everyone and were one of the highlights of our stay.
The rooms were also comfortable, clean and perfectly adequate.
We visited from late June into early July, and there was a noticeable difference in how busy the hotel became during the second week. Everything felt much more crowded, so if you have the choice, I'd definitely recommend visiting during the quieter off-peak period.
I am a disabled person and have to mobilise using a dry cell battery mobility scooter. When we got to hotel we were told I could not bring my mobility scooter into the hotel and had to leave it in an open unsecured area on the other end of the hotel and hire a wheelchair. I just feel I have been completely stripped of my dignity as I have had to rely on other members of my family to push me around the resort and to get my meals at the buffet, wheel me to the pool and back. Get my drinks. Wheel me to and from my room and take me to the disabled toilet which was the furthest toilet away from everything. Had I come to this hotel on my own I would not have been able to leave my room to even eat as I cannot walk. I have checked the hotel website and hotel policy and no where does it say I cannot use my mobilty scooter. I would never have stayed here had I known this. When I spoke to the reception about the no scooter rule I was basically told to go to another hotel if it was a problem. Unfortunately I was unable to do this as I was part of a family group celebrating a 60th birthday. Most of the staff on reception are very unhelpful. On top of this I had to pay an extra 240 euros to upgrade to a junior suite so I had an adapted room. Part of being in a junior suite was I got given a nespresso machine and pods to make a coffee. I have asked every day since I have been here for some and they still have not given me any. I was also provided with an unsafe mobility stool for the shower with two of the rubber feet missing that stop it slipping in the showere so had to use a chair off the balcony. All the slopes in the hotel from the main restaurant are really steep and my husband has slipped a few times pushing me up them. I have been made to feel a complete inconvenience because I am disabled. Thanks H10 for spoiling my holiday as you clearly do not want disabled people staying here
