The delightful apartment complex enjoys a prime setting in Playa de Las Americas, on the exciting island of Tenerife. The complex is situated just 800 metres from Playa de las Vistas Beach, and within easy access of the main attractions that the area has to offer. Set amidst the grounds of the Las Americas golf course, the charming complex is the perfect choice for sports enthusiasts and those who enjoy a leisurely game on the green. The delightful complex enjoys a contemporary style, with a bright exterior evoking a sense of serenity and tranquillity. The apartments are beautifully appointed, and come complete with modern amenities for added comfort and convenience. The apartments offer a relaxing home away from home in which to completely unwind. The complex affords guests a number of excellent facilities, catering to the needs of every type of traveller. Loft rooms are situated on the second floor of the building without any other access to it than by staircase. They are skylight rooms with a distribution similar to studios. No balcony nor terrace are available for this type of rooms.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Another great stay here ignore the bad reviews been here 4 years running always stay in studio apartments which have air con nothing pool music little noisy but otherwise good fun
Location- super close to supermarkets, bit of a walk with young children to beach and strip and I have a baby also but taxis are really cheap and come quick, we preferred going to los cristianos as less Brit tourists and we aren’t drinkers. Atmosphere- pool side is quiet, no screaming kids just families having fun , entertainment with kids poolside by the day. My kid enjoyed it and kids pool is warm Rooms- good room, cool enough with fans and keeping curtains shut in day. Cleaners do a good job, isn’t perfectly clean how I have my own home but it’s decent enough. Kitchen is fully supplied with everything you need . Rest of the hotel is kept well and tidy Staff are all very friendly and helpful Value- great budget family holiday, if I liked repetitiveness of staying same place every year I would come back Food- we ate breakfast once, didn’t enjoy. Found the food to be really cheap quality
The loft room is a terrible layout, only one badly fitted skylight window which meant room dark, gloomy and left it smelling musty. Plus because the window had gaps around the fitting ,this meant mosquitos had easy entry. We were bit to death. I asked at reception if a handyman would put some sealant around gaps which he did,but because window had been fitted badly could not block all gaps. We were greeted by a c bug on our first night. We had to go on our knees to hang our clothes up, and to access the safe. The only mirror was in the bathroom, no full length mirror which is a must for ladies to check attire. Reported again to reception to be told its Spain, it happens for c bugs .... what 3 floors up ! and in Spain people short eh? The cherry on the cake was that the slider bolt to secure door lock became stuck and we were locked in our room/cell . It's a good job we had a mobile phone as no phone in room. I googled the hotel telephone number to inform. They had to break through the metal door to free us,this took a hour of us sitting there, not the best first day experience. We were awoken the next three mornings very early as they were doing building/renovation work in the next room, noone told us about this. We also were awoken most early hours of the mornings buy drunken guests coming back from their night out. No security guards to stop this. The staff on the whole are nice, a few miserable faces at reception. One young dark haired receptionist was lovely. The breakfast lady chef again lovely, the blonde waitress happy and helpful. The lifeguards are ineffective, playing on their mobiles rather than doing their jobs. The hotel is very noisy, lots of big parties of very young adults having late night parties, loud Trance music and lots of swearing. A strong smell of weed being smoked throughout. No security presence to be seen. Not a place or an environment I'd bring my children to to be honest. We asked many times to upgrade our room but was messed around so much that in the end we gave up and made the best of a bad situation. Im glad we didn't move in the end because of the noise and young adult men playing football in the walking areas between the garden apartments! The breakfast was okay, could have been hotter but edible. The hotel location is not ideal, a 20 minute walk to the seafront and in the heat not good. I really think that higher management need to do some undercover spot checks of this hotel to get a true picture. I have worked in the hotel industry in the past and know what good looks like ,unfortunately this hotel is very lacking. We had booked to celebrate my birthday after a very long emotional year after the illness and death of my mother, hopefully to give me some much needed rest . I didn't rest and couldn't wait to get out of the hotel, we actually looked forward to going home! This place reminded us of a 18 to 30s hotel rather than a family environment as advertised.
These are our comments to hopefully balance the poor reviews!
Public areas are very clean; the public toilet next to the pool smells lovely, and the area around the pool and its surroundings are very clean and tidy. Sunbeds were plentiful.
I was in Room 374, which is one of the 'loft' apartments; it had a skylight instead of a window. On arrival, it was noted how clean the room was and how well-stocked it was for 2 people sharing on a self-catering holiday. There is a toaster, a coffee machine, a microwave, and a fridge with a small freezer. 12 coat hangers were provided in the wardrobe space. My only gripe is that there were no drawers and no full-length mirror, but I could live with that for a few days!
Both beds were comfy with clean bedding, but a bit 'slidy' on the tiled floor.
The bathroom was big enough, with a rain shower as well as a hand shower; the water was hot.
There is a big supermarket directly opposite, where the prices are lower than the little shop in the hotel.
The pool bar was fine, where you can buy the usual bar food like chips, etc and the drinks are priced well. It is CASH ONLY everywhere in the hotel, but again, that's no biggie for a few days. We ate out at night, and Reception rang for taxis for us, which came really quickly. Ample taxis in the town, too, when your night is over.
I have to say that we saw NO SIGN OF COCKROACHES, BED BUGS OR MOZZIES while we were there. None of the receptionists or indeed any of the staff were rude or grumpy while we were there. I wonder if their bad reviews are because of how people spoke to them?! I would certainly visit here again.
loved the hotel room was clean and spacious we had the duplex, food was okay! hotel is card only but you can pay cash in reception and put it on a tab and use it in the shop and the bar. the onsite shop is so expensive even just for a few bottles of water but the shopping mall across the road. there’s a little cafe on the end of the super market the cooked chickens are amazing and a cheap meal for throughout the day. kids loved the blue mat and the entertainment. bar staff small baldy bloke and the blonde woman with glasses was very friendly, only thing i can complain about is the shower room was absolutely disgusting and no privacy as people were coming in and out to get their cases while you were showering…. literally had to get washed dried and dressed in the bathroom and they wuddnt put the air con on and it was boiling !! people left rubbish alllover the table ( which i cleaned and put in the bin and the bathroom was filthy floor was a danger a disabled family member a child actually slipped and put a hole in her arm on a pipe sticking out!! complained to reception and the handy man immediately removed the pipe from the wall…. the life guard got his first aid kit out for me to help myself no one came and checked she was ok no apology i google translated to the life guard and he still didn’t understand! he was as much use as a chocolate fire guard he literally sits on his phone the whole day. as a party of 19 and only able to keep one room on was a bit of a joke but yet another family complained about the dust from the room next to the shower rooms as her kids were asthmatic and was given a clean room to use !! don’t think i would return due to no late check outs and having to sit around for hours on end and having to using a filthy shower room when you complained to reception they said the maids didn’t have time to keep cleaning the room throughout the day!
