Brilliant stay
Location is extremely convenient, in the city, near a beach! Amazing views and scenery. The hotel is generally a very peaceful place, the pool is nice relaxing and warm but refreshing. The staff were all very kind and lovely. Rooms were immaculate and clean. It’s very good value for money. The noise level is non existent, very peaceful. 100% recommend.
NOT FOR FAMILYS WITH SMALL CHILDREN
NOT FOR FAMILYS WITH SMALL CHILDREN which want to use small swimming ring as a swimming aid. Very noisy environment, the isolation is not the best you can hear the phone from the rome beside. Also the music from outside until midnight.
The hotel location is awesome near the beach. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast was awesome. The pool area is very nice.
Since we couldn't use the pool due to my 10 years old sun was prohibited to use his swimming ring which is only 48 cm in diameter I must give the lowest possible score for that 1 of 5.
The pool areas lifeguard state that ther should not be any floating things at the pool area? After long discussion with hotel management and the lifeguard my sun was still prohibited to use his swimming ring even though that I was with him all the time. The pool is 125 cm deep where my son wants to swim and he is 135 cm long. That was day 1 of our 12 days.
There was no information stated that all kind of floating things are prohibited during the booking process, no information at check in, no signs at pool area.
Lifeguard’s assessment: Under the law (Decreto 212/2005), lifeguards in the Canary Islands have the authority to prohibit any item that could compromise safety. If the swim ring is a standard, small, round model used as a swimming aid and not a toy then shouldnt this been a discussion at all. Supervision is key: The fact that an adult is swimming with the 10-year-old is the most important factor. If the lifeguard sees that you are together and that the ring does not disturb others or obstruct visibility, it should be allowed.
This my summary. For a 10-year-old swimming with an adult in a hotel pool in Tenerife, the situation depends entirely on whether the swim ring is classified as a swimming aid or a pool toy.
We visit the Lago Martiánez the huge and amazing pool area at Puerto de la Cruz there the lifeguards was very professional. We had the same swimming ring with us, and I asked three different lifeguards regarding if my son can use his swimming ring and got the same answer. The question was "do he needed for swimming? Yes. Will you be with him? Yes. Then it was no discussions at all.
The reason I didn't change the hotel was because it's located at the beach and my son loved the waves at the beach instate for the pool.
We can’t keep away!
We have stayed here many times over the last 13 years and we just keep coming back. We have already booked to return here at the of August. We love this hotel for its location, staff, cleanliness, ambience, great breakfast and great air-conditioning! This time we stayed in a front facing plunge pool room which was absolutely outstanding. The main Pool area is beautiful and you can always get a sun bed. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we can’t wait to go back.

I can't say anything negative about this hotel and our stay here. We spent 10 night. The breakfast choices were amazing, I've never seen so much choice and we loved the freshly made omeletts. It was my birthday while we stayed here and the hotel did a lovely gesture of a cake and a drink at breakfast and the pianist played happy birthday, it was beautiful and made my day. The hotel is within walking distance of everything you could possibly need. We did read the reviews before we left and the room could do with a little update but that's personal preference and it didn't bother us as it's only there to sleep in. And talking about sleep, the bed was massive, I couldn't find my husband 😂. The interior and exterior of the hotel is simply beautiful and makes you feel that you have stepped back in time and brought back lots of found memories for my husband of holidays when he was younger. There are plenty of sunbeds and it didn't matter what time we went to the pool we always found a sunbed. The hotel is clean and all the staff are helpful. We will definitely be coming back.
Excellent hotel with great location.
Excellent hotel and great location very pleasant and friendly staff nice and clean and felt very safe. Rooms are nice and clean but if I’m being picky some bits need attention like paint touch up and cracks in tiles but overall I’d definitely come back to this hotel. Pool area very clean and breakfast was good plenty to choose from. Plenty of sunbeds available so no need to wake up at stupid o’clock to put your towels down. Excellent towel service at this hotel and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The beach is literally on your doorstep
