Had an issue with room electricity tripped two night in a row maintenance were there within 5 minutes second time we were given a new room and went out next day and came back to a bottle of cava box of cookies and a lovely note staff were amazing hotel was spotless nice heated pool and food was plentyful we were bed and breakfast but there's a snackbar at poolside which was good definitely be back. And a little shout-out to Flower she was a ray of sunshine nothing was too much trouble and asset to hotel looks forward to coming back 🥰
What can I say ! We've already booked for next year. What a fantastic hotel. This was our third stay at The Sol Arona. First since the major refurbishment. Staff were amazing. They worked so hard. Nothing was too much trouble. Beds were actually proper beds with lovely thick mattresses. Pillows were huge, plump hotel quality. Not what you usually get when away. Food. Was good. Always something to eat. Drink wasn't great tho. Beer could be hit and miss. The new inside bar was a great wee area for a drink in a proper glass. The token system at the pool bar keeps the pool area clear of any rubbish. The lifeguard noticed the pool steps were becoming loose and had maintenance there within half an hour. They have added a self service shop for tins, chocolate and crisps etc. We had a fabulous holiday and can't wait to go back next year.
We had a lovely stay at Sol Arona Tenerife. The hotel has been newly renovated, so the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the lobby looks stylish and welcoming.
The all Inclusive breakfast was just okay, nothing special.
The real highlight is the events team. They bring so much enthusiasm and energy every single day and genuinely turn a hotel stay into a proper holiday. They work incredibly hard, running activities from morning until evening, with daily workshops like jewellery making and chocolate making, plus water basketball, water fitness, tournaments, and even running on the water all included in your stay + many many more. None of which I knew about when booking it added so much value to this hotel!
A special shoutout to Xavi and Alvaro, who recognised us every day and made us feel so welcome. Their energy, friendliness, and dedication really made our holiday. They are a huge credit to the hotel, and honestly, I can't imagine coming back if they weren't here. Thank you both for making our stay so memorable!
Hotel has been beautifully decorated. Staff amazing from reception to housekeeping. Pool area could do with some expansion due to sheer size of hotel. We were bed and breakfast. Breakfast cold options were lovely hot options was never hot even at 740am when they opened. If we r bring picky thats only gripe! Will happily go back!
Me and my husband had such a good time at this hotel. Don’t be put off by the outside, the inside (has been updated) is fabulous. Clean and contemporary. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant, bar staff and cleaners just as lovely and welcoming. It is a very family Focused hotel so going in peak season will be less than optimum for couples. However in saying that we had no problems. The entertainment team is suberb! We couldn’t help but get involved in the activities, they make an effort to get to know you and work so hard. Fantastic atmosphere.
Food was amazing, loads of options, something different every night and delicious. If im being picky… could do with some more labelling of what the food is so if your vegan/vegatarian/gluten free. Might be tricky.
Cocktails.. mojitos, daiquiri, delicious (token system if all inclusive- very easy to use).
Rooms, cleaned every day to high standard.
We will definitely stay again at sol Arona!
