This lovely apartment complex enjoys an enviable location between Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. The town centre is only 500 m away while the charming beach lies within 250 m from the hotel. A selection of bars and pubs lie 300 m away. A bus stop located in Los Cristianos enables guests to reach Tenerife South Airport, which is located 20 km from the hotel, in about 15 minutes. This contemporary establishment offers sun-lit apartments designed in natural tones and fitted with a modern flair. All of them are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities and some of them offer dramatic views over the sea or the sparkling pool. Leisure options include a large outdoor swimming pool, a lovely sun terrace with sun beds and a poolside snack bar. The younger guests may let off steam on the paddling pool and travellers arriving by car may avail for on-site parking.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Excellent medium to small complex. Good position not over looked by other hotels. Large rooms tranquil pool area no music plenty of sin beds good sized pool.
We are currently staying in St George apartments and on the whole we would recommend it here. Just be aware that there’s no air conditioning and we have to sleep with the sliding door open all night as it gets stifling hot. It’s currently around 21 c during the day - but when it’s hotter you would need a fan. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen adequate for making snacks ( includes toaster, kettle, coffee machine and microwave oven) pots & pans & cutlery. There was complimentary washing up liquid and a sponge/ tea towel. The shower is good and towels are changed most days. Bring a towel for swimming. I wish there was a hook on the back of the bathroom door and also an extractor fan. There’s very little room to store toiletries and cosmetics ( only a shelf under the sink and a corner shelf in the shower. There’s a built in wardrobe with a few hangers and a safe at the bottom which you pay extra for if needed. You can pay to have a remote control for the tv ( we didn’t bother as you can turn the tv on using the button underneath and navigate the channels. We listen to the music and BBC news. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is basic but quiet, located near the beach(5 mins) and centre(15 mins) do not be put off with no A/C in rooms as air flows through with windows open, the rooms are cleaned 5 days a week and the staff are pleasant enough. My only complaint was thin mattresses which made the beds hard.(we both suffer bad backs) The breakfast has a great selection for a bed & breakfast with fruit varied daily, bar snacks for convenience. Check out 10am with late check out possible at a reasonable rate. If you want peace with no music, few kids and youngsters and a more mature hotel with no rush for loungers this is for you. All in all a great little, clean hotel and had a relaxing enjoyable week for a couple in their mid 50s.
This hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach and all the bars and restaurants in Los Cristianos . Fairly steep hill to walk back so wouldn’t be suitable if you have trouble walking! Very central to both las Americas and Los Cristianos ( turn right out if hotel the either left for Los Cristianos or right for las Americas although there is a walkway directly right out of the hotel which is a shortcut to las Americas) Hotel:room: the hotel is very well maintained and decorated and the staff are very friendly and welcoming? We arrived after 9pm but there was someone there to check us in (normally open from 9am/9pm) we had a duplex room with pool view but had to ask to be moved the next morning as the stairs were very steep to the bedroom and I felt very unsafe going up and down them especially as the bathroom was downstairs and could easily fall down them when half asleep in middle of the night, also went into the bathroom at 5am to find it covered in dead fly/insects ! (I did not blame the hotel as it was unfortunate) The reception staff were very helpful and understanding and offered to move us to a ground floor apartment which was a lot bigger and lovely comfy bed and large bathroom. This hotel does not have A/C and can get a bit stuffy and hot to sleep ? You can hire a fan or portable a/c unit ! Also ask for a kettle for your room as not privided in the kitchen, there is a hairdryer in the bathroom and well equipped kitchette with microwave and mini fridge. Pool/bar : the pool area has plenty of sun beds and pool bar
Stayed for 3 nights back of June, departing 1 July on a B&B basis, staff very friendly & helpful on reception, allocated room 113, acceptable with all amenities, great shower, nice comfy bed & well equipped kitchenette, there was a safe but that was extra €, no egg chair or any extras in the apartment, my only negative (reflected in the 4 stars) is the lack of a/c as the temp reached 35’ during the day so was stifling of an evening, we did hire a fan which was €25 for the 3 nights we were there, we got a large water bottle & filled it with tap water & froze it & placed behind the fan to help circulate cooler air, whilst the frozen water doesn’t last long, it does help to get you off to sleep which is the main thing, we couldn’t risk leaving the window or door open being on ground level as it didn’t feel safe.
Breakfast was exceptional, a huge choice available & hubby is very fussy but managed to find enough to get him through, the staff are efficient & really on the ball clearing the tables & replenishing breakfast items. The staff cleaning the rooms & around the pool were lovey to o & always a wonderful clean smell around the complex, be sure to take beach towels as they are not provided. What would be helpful is a designated area for left over lotions, potions & gels as we left a large container of shower gel but left it in the communal area & sun tan lotion on the book case (book swap).
It’s a shame rules aren’t adhered to as lots of people were reserving sunbeds & not using them most of the day which is wrong (although there were always enough), pool staff did stop young people from messing about with balls in the pool as they hit people & not appropriate with families present with small children & babies (complete lack of awareness/personal responsibility).
There is also a laundry room where you can launder clothes for €4 inc powder & softener) & dry for €3 (not req’d), just dry on airer/chairs of your apartment. This is a really helpful addition if you want to minimise what you take or reduce costs with hand luggage only, again see note below for supermarket details & savings!
As you stand at the front of the ramp outside reception turn tight up the side path, then right again & there is a huge supermarket ‘Mercando’ a 5 minute walk away next to a large Skechers & H&M, please, please don’t waste your money in the small supermarkets as some of their prices are outrageous, we got a 6 pack of beer & it was almost €15 (even though it was a six pack she scanned each can separately) yet only €5.40 in the supermarket for 12, with much more choice too, most of all, just relax & enjoy your break, you owe it to yourself!
