Retuning to this beautiful hotel again in August exactly 1 year to when we visited last & so excited this time I'm booking the UP EXPERIENCE for a few days haven't done before, staff excellent everywhere, my husband is gluten free, wheat free & they were on hand to help him all the time 😀 see you soon Arona gran hotel 😎💙😎💓
Used to be lovely now average unhelpful staff boring food now run by bean counters
We’ve been back a few days after the most wonderful stay at the Arona Gran. Our room on the 5th floor had lovely views of the pool and sea, and had everything we needed during our stay. It was clean and close to the lifts and water machines. We had booked the Up level when we made our booking and didn’t regret this decision. We spent most days on the comfy sunbeds on the roof terrace and used the rooftop pool and jacuzzi. There was a lovely selection of food during the day and the bar was well stocked with branded drinks. The singer was amazing! Most days we ate in the buffet restaurant and we were impressed with the vast selection of food for breakfast and dinner - there was an even bigger choice on gala night. As part of our booking for Up, we got to eat dinner at Jarea and the food there looked and tasted amazing! We also enjoyed a trip to the spa and had a massage. All the staff throughout the hotel, at reception, in the restaurant and bar, and the housekeeping team, were friendly and helpful. When we spoke to other guests, most were regular visitors at the hotel. After our week’s stay, it was no surprise that guests return again and again to this amazing hotel. Thank you to all the hotel team for a wonderful holiday - we hope to be back again soon!
Revisited this beautiful hotel The house keeping team are absolutely amazing The hotel is spotless and our rooms are always clean The pool area is also amazing brillant for people with mobilty problems Downside The food has gone down hill Everything was over cooked meat and fish Although I contacted the hotel in advance And spoke with the headchef on the first evening there About things I could and couldn't eat Due to allergies This was completely ignored I was promised on most nights that there would be a dessert the following evening which only happened twice Spoke to Anthony the duty manager Who agreed this was not right Said he had spoken with the head chef I think that they feel people with allergies are a inconvenience I was so hoping that things would be better on this visit But left more dissapoited this time So won't return Thank you Anthony for listening and trying But the head chef seems to have lost his enthusiasm for this hotel
