Stayed for one week. Lovely staff, and excellent service! Nice & clean hotel. It could sure need a little bit of a makover, but that didn’t affect the quality of our stay. (It rained two days, and water came trough the roof in the lounge…) We slept in an average sized room with a large dbl bed, balcony & sea view. The breakfast buffet is very good, and there’s a good variaty on the meny at the bar as well. (Both snacks & dinners) No need to bring towels from home… You get pooltowels for free. Very peaceful place, also at night. <3
This was our second time staying here - a first for us - as we have never gone back to the same place twice.
We had a Superior Seaview Room and a bottle of cava with a pair of flutes were waiting for us when we checked in. That was such a nice touch! We were welcomed back so warmly!
Check in was a breeze and all the staff were really friendly and super helpful. However, members of staff that went the extra mile were Miguel, David and Vicky. We had a problem with one of our excursions - Miguel sorted it in a jiffy!
The room was clean and comfortable. The housekeeping team were very efficient and kept us well stocked with towels and loo roll.
There was a great selection at breakfast and, on a couple of the evenings, dinner. There was a chef on hand at breakfast to make omelettes and pancakes to order. In the evening, what was cooked fresh varied but again a great selection of meat, fish, rice, pasta etc. For the bargain price of €20 you could have a starter, main course, dessert, cheese course and coffee.
I agree with the other reviews - the place could do with a revamp and I understand that it will be closed soon for a complete refurbishment. Who goes on holiday and spends lots of time in their room anyway???? The location is excellent with stunning views. The boardwalk runs into the local village and is just enchanting.
I recently stayed at the hotel with my young son and was impressed by how welcoming the entire team was—especially Victor. From his warm smile at check-in to the helpful local tips he shared, Victor went out of his way to make us feel at home. His genuine kindness turned our stay into a relaxing, memorable experience. Thank you, Victor, and thanks to everyone at the hotel for your exceptional hospitality!
Positives - the hotel location is 10 /10, the staff are really friendly and helpful, sadly that's the only positives I can give. Arrived back from here today and the negatives outweigh the positives... official 4 star rating must have been some years ago, 2 star I would say now. The whole place seems like it's had no maintenance for about 10 years. Very tatty everywhere you look - the outside is dirty and needs a painting. The furniture in the sunbathing area above the pool is falling apart. The stairs have duck tape to hide broken parts, the bathrooms are years past their best - even some bleach spray on the blackened silicone would help. Whole place needs a total renovation - this place has so much potential, a real shame it's being left in a state of disrepair.
Best part of my stay was the room. Yes needs updating but very clean . The cleaners are fab . The resturant team were fabuloolìous. Victor the guy who greets you is warm, kind and wonderful But a big but here I was introduced to 2 ladies on reception namely Nuria and Ubay whose attitude needs a good looking at. Firstly I asked about taxis and she came back with a very sharp voice. You have to be out in 45 mins. Ok I said, I walked upstairs to pack and shower and use toilet. The phone rang it was one of the ladies you need to vacate okwill do. Then the door banged. Hello midday u need to vacate. Ok i was in toilet . I finished gave her key. When I went down 2 days ago i was asking again bout taxi. Excuse me im very busy very rude very. She needs to get a quieter voice with not so much heir flick. The guys in reception were fabuloolìous but the women no way very rude and rough There was like 2 in the building stupid behaviour. These 2 are not of the standards of the guys. I love the place but for me receptionists let it down big time
