Hotel was nice but the service was shocking,we couldn't even get booked into any off the al a cart restaurants when on holiday nor the night time shows ,always showing fully booked when they where not, issues with the hotel booking app and having to wait 45 mins to be seated in the buffet restaurant with 2 young kids was shock because they had no staff, food was limited and didn't change each day, same thing everyday and not much choice, receptionist was useless and just lies to get you away from the front desk Over all shocking for what we paid and would not recommend
Wow wow & wow, first off this hotel is absolutely beautiful from the outside as it is inside. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, smiley and a pleasure to speak to.
We were offered to have our bags taken to our room, and shown where the amenities were.
The room we had was absolutely stunning, it was both myself and my husbands birthday and we were greeted by chocolates and a bottle of honey rum.
The restaurant was stunning as was the food. There is something for every taste! If there are any reviews stating that the food was bad then they were at a different hotel! Everything was labelled for allergies, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection.
The onsite restaurants were very good, our favourite was the Asian.
The live entertainment in the reception side bar was lovely, I just wished it started earlier as we like to go bed slightly earlier and get up early.
The display on the castle was mesmerising and one of my favourite experiences.
Plenty of sunbeds.
Yes it’s windy but when the temperature is in the 30’s that breeze is beautiful.
There isn’t really a beach close by but we didn’t mind that.
There were a lot of families with children under 5-7 there which is fine (we travelled as 2 adults) but it was fine as there was plenty to keep the children busy and an adult only pool.
It would have been nice to have the sports bar as adult only or an adult only bar somewhere in the hotel.
Overall a fabulous 5* stay and I will definitely be back with more family members.
If you aren’t a “lie around the pool” person all day, hire a car and explore.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay and our birthdays just fabulous.
Excellent hotel .great staff amazing for young children however still enough to do for teens and couples due to the pools being split levels catering for whatever you want from your holiday.not much outside the hotel other than a relaxing walk across the coast . Evening entertainment is amazing and plenty of bars to choose from depending on required atmosphere. Food was great and the independent Italian and steak restraints stopped any boredom of food .
The reason I haven’t given top marks is we asked for lower floors as both of us have heart problems and mobility problems. When we arrived the porter helped us to the seventh floor but had to go to a second elevator which is some distance away for us as we are in our 70s and this was what happened every single day we were there. Not one day were the lifts in our floor working the whole day and so to have a room on the very top floor was a nightmare. Several nights we went to the lift to go and enjoy entertainment but returned to our rooms as once again no working lift. We reported it several times and was told the lift engineers will only come out in and emergency and when we asked what’s an emergency , we were to,d someone’s stuck in the lift. And so I would not return to your hotel until I read the reviews and no one’s complaining. I knew about the lift problem before I came but couldn’t believe that when we were taken to our room first thing that happened was lift not working. I have no complaints about this hotel other than the lift problem and being put on 7th floor despite asking twice via email and chat for lower floors because I knew you had a problem
Wonderful family friendly hotel.
