Disappointing 3 star at best
Very annoyed at this hotel.
Our 3rd holiday of the year and this was the most disappointing. Pros. Check in was quick we arrived late at night and was given a packed lunch on arrival which was nice. Room was lovely. Clean and spacious and was cleaned every day beds were comfy. Grounds were kept very clean and the pool was lovely..not to cold.
Cons.
Firstly we had to call someone out because the toilet broke.. and then we had a power cut in our block so we were without electricity for 2 hours. One day we were in the pool and the fire alarm went off everyone had to evacuate the hotel only to find it was a practise and all the staff were clapping everyone for complying..not funny at all.
Food wasn't the best it was ok. Not much choice for English people and was warm at best. Had to wait ages for things to be replenished. Not the greatest variety its 3 star at best.
The most disgusting thing is we were told upon checkout at 11am that our wristbands were being taken off us and could no longer have drinks and food.. and our pickup was 7pm!!!! So in 30 degree heat with a 9 year old they expected us to not drink all day till we got to the airport. If we wanted to keep the wrist band it was 50 euros and considering we had spent close to 5 grand altogether we were close to having no money left to last till we got home. Then on top another 45 euro to have a late check out at 2pm or 70 euro for the 5pm!
Never ever had this in a hotel before.
Was an ok holiday but we wouldn't come back.

It should be 3 stars hotel, not 4
The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and gives a very good first impression. Unfortunately, our experience inside did not match our expectations.
The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired, including the bed sheets. Instead of a normal shower, our room had a large jacuzzi bathtub, which was completely yellow and looked old and dirty. It was also very impractical and unsafe, especially for families with children. Our children slipped while trying to shower in it, so we really didn’t find this setup suitable at all.
The restaurant was another disappointment. It felt much more like a basic canteen than a hotel restaurant. The floors and tables were dirty, which made the whole dining experience quite unpleasant.
Also, the table mats used for crumbs should really be removed. They looked extremely dirty and unhygienic, and using the same mats repeatedly on dining tables seems like an easy way to spread dirt and bacteria rather than keep the tables clean.
Considering the overall experience and everything the hotel has to offer, I really don’t understand its high star rating. In my opinion, the hotel is overrated. Based on the cleanliness, facilities and overall standard, I would consider this a three-star hotel at most, certainly not a four- or five-star experience.
Overall, the hotel may look impressive from the outside, but unfortunately the reality inside is quite different.
Not a 4 star experience
The cleanliness of the rooms and surroundings. does not meet 4-star standards. curtains in the room were dirty, so the bath tub, which is not useful when going with kids that needs help with the shower. Table mats from the restaurant were dirty, and not hygienic to use every day after each person. Sun chairs were very dirty in the pool area and rooms on the balcony. Only good point, the personnel were attentive, polite and responsive to any request we had.

Disappointed after reading other reviews
Hotel 3 star at best. Some reviews misleading. Room very dark. Floor tiles broken. Food a little repetitive but quality good. Wine was OK. Very disappointed that I could not get Ron Barcardi at pool bar even though I was paying extra at the bar indoors. Evening entertainment should be outside. Room very hot with limited air con. Staff all very friendly. Don't think I would return.

Lovely clean family hotel
We have just finished a weeks stay at the tagoro and couldn't fault it very family oriented. What I love is that there was no sunlounger scrambling in a morning there was a big main pool and baby pool where all the main activities were then a splash park with a slide at the other side of the hotel which was much quieter we swapped to both most days and had no problem getting a spot. Food was what you would expect from all inclusive but most nights there was a theme.we didn't eat our once Nighttime entertainment looked fab although that's not our thing. Last day we opted to keep the room until 2pm at 45 euros and the lovely lady on reception said we could keep our bands until we was being picked up at quarter to 5. The rooms are spacious we booked a deluxe and loved we had a patio and little garden.We are planning are staying at the sister hotel in Lanzarote next year but we would definitely come bk
