Honest review - summer holidays
Currently lying by the pool enjoying our last couple of hours before we head home! We booked this holiday for our family of four with children aged 6 and 8. After reading some of the recent reviews before we flew, we were honestly worried, especially after a previous bad experience in Tenerife. Thankfully, we had nothing to worry about. We honestly can't fault this hotel. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily (apart from the scheduled housekeeping days off, which they let you know about in advance). Everything you need is provided if you're self-catering. We stayed bed and breakfast and, despite some negative reviews, there was plenty of choice every morning. The kids loved the fresh pancakes with chocolate sauce, and there was something for everyone. We chose not to go all-inclusive as it worked out cheaper to eat out and gave us more flexibility. We did try Rosa's Kitchen on our last day though, and the halloumi burgers were delicious! The staff have all been friendly and helpful, the pool is clean, and we never struggled to get a sunbed, even during the summer holidays. The entertainment team were great with the kids, who especially loved the magic show and the ABBA tribute act. My only suggestion would be to advertise the evening entertainment more, as the shows deserve a bigger audience. Overall, this is a fantastic family hotel and great value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!
Relaxing stress free getaway
Staying here for one week and honestly ignore any bad reviews. This hotel has been seamless from start to finish. The minute we walked through the doors nothing was a hassle. Check in was very quick and after a late flight went straight to the room to find sandwiches packed up in fridge waiting on us. We booked a royal studio but we're given a royal family suite.
The snacks and robes in the room were a nice touch after a long day travelling.
NO COCKRAOCHES IN SIGHT. Beautiful clean room with plenty of space.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. We saw a couple of reviews where something was stolen from rooms but we accidentally left some valuable out of the safe and had no issues.
The food was fine for all inclusive. Proper branded drinks like Fanta, coke and freshly made cocktails (no prepacked rubbish). Themed nights for food and always had something for everyone. We had two ceoliacs in our party and from the minute we asked they made us feel like nit an inconvenience for having a dietary requirement. The restaurant staff were so helpful and ensured anything we requested was cooked fresh to avoid cross contamination. ( gluten free pancakes, pizzas, chips, pastas, meats nothing was a problem). There was a gluten free corner in the buffet that had bread and toaster and had BaKer products. Honestly such an easy holiday. Special shout out to the restaurant staff for making people with food allergens feel included.
Pool area busy but never an issue to get a bed. Even if there was beach is 5 mins away. Lots of fun to be had as they allowed the kids to take inflatables in the pool.
Honestly couldn't fault this hotel. Only side note is be careful as the tiles around the pool are slippy when wet.
We will return.

Our room was amazing and we loved it, huge bed, fridge fully stocked on arrival, food left in fridge for a meal when we arrived. Staff very friendly and professional. The pools were amazing. Activities throughout the day and then at night. Meal selection was outstanding. The sex on the beach cocktail hit all the right spots.

We stayed here on a B&B basis and had a really lovely holiday.
The location is excellent. There are loads of restaurants and bars within a 3–5 minute walk, with loads of live music, football, sports etc. McDonald's is only around a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Breakfast had plenty of choice every morning. There were cooked options like eggs, English bacon and sausages, as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurts, jams and more. We never struggled to find something to eat.
The hotel itself is very clean, with fresh towels / bedding provided every day, along with pool towels, so there's no need to pack beach towels. The safe in the room is free to use, as is the air conditioning, which is always a bonus.
Our room looked exactly like the photos On the Beach, so there were no surprises. The beds were comfortable, although a little on the soft side for our liking, but the pillows definitely weren't great. We had requested a ground floor room and were given Room 100, which was perfect. If you're staying B&B or self-catering, it's so handy being able to pop back to the room for cold drinks or ice cream from the fridge/freezer during the day.
There's a supermarket just around the corner, but we found it much cheaper to spend €5 on a taxi to Mercadona and stock up there instead.
We also used the spa, which was lovely, and the gym is honestly one of the best hotel gyms I've come across abroad.
The only thing that was missing for us was a bit of music around the pool. Apart from the hotel mascot entertaining the children, it was very quiet during the day. A bit of background music would have made the atmosphere even better.
Overall, it's a lovely, family-friendly hotel in a great location. We'd definitely recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Honest review
Just back from Sunwing today room was cleaned everyday spacious room balcony good size. All staff are very nice The location is perfect very close to bars, restaurants and shops and the beach a few hills walking back up to hotel breakfast was average felt bar food was nicer can get quite noisy during the day loads of stuff for kids to do they have a kids club and teen lounge and entertainment throughout day they even have mascots called Bernie and Lolo I felt only problem was hotel rooms walls were very tin you could hear every footstep someone made you can’t smoke on your balcony or anywhere in the hotel. If you smoke you will have to go outside the main entrance. this information is not on loveholidays
