Sunwing Fanabe Beach

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 8 days we came home on tuesday, this was our first holiday together and he has been before so we decided to come back to this hotel as it was easier for us to go somewhere that either one of us knew and the location is great, the atmosphere is chaos on a day tome and quiet on a night like really quiet there is entertainment however it was dead, we came all inclusive and to be honest we wish we didn’t the breakfasts were okay and the snacks that you get at dinner time were lovely however the buffet at dinner time was average but the evening meal they had a different theme for every night such as Caribbean etc which we werent that keen on and none of the food looked nice so we went out every night and the snacks at the rosas kitchen was on from half 10 till half 12 and then wasnt on again until half 3 and most of the time we had just getting up and finished breakfast at 10 and by the afternoon we had to go out to eat as we didnt enjoy the lunch time buffet, the rooms were standard ours got cleaned only twice in the whole 8 days we were really upset that we had pay 3 euros for an iron after spending £2000 on the holiday. The day before we left i asked if we could keep our room on as we had a nighttime flight just to be told to come back tomorrow as they needed to check with housekeeping, i went back and it was a different receptionist on just to be told ‘’no were too busy’’ i dont believe they treat all customers fairly as when we got there they didnt’t offer us any orange juice or champenge however when we were in the hotel reception at 1pm waiting to be picked up at 7pm (we had no where else to go and we had already been out and spent more money as they took our all inclusive bands off us when we checked out) there was loads of guests arriving and guess what? they were greeted with orange juice and champenge which i think is totally out of order as this should be provided to each guest that arrives. The hotel was jam packed and we didn’t use the swimming pool as all the kids were in the pool and you couldnt get past. If you go too this hotel go out of season if your going as a couple.

This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. On the day of our departure, we went downstairs for our final breakfast before check-out. During our absence of just 20 minutes, a large amount of cash and valuable jewelry disappeared from our room. The incident was reported to the police immediately.

What shocked us even more was the hotel's reaction. Instead of showing any concern, offering assistance, or making any effort to investigate the situation, we were met with complete indifference and a dismissive attitude. We were left completely on our own, as if nothing had happened. Particularly disappointing was the behavior of a staff member named Melisa, who showed absolutely no empathy or professionalism.

If you value your safety and want to enjoy a stress-free vacation, stay as far away from this place as possible. We have never experienced such terrible customer service and such a disgraceful attitude towards guests.

To make matters worse, the staff have serious difficulties communicating in English, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel serving tourists from all over the world.

The breakfasts were also awful – exactly the same food every day, stale fruit, and scrambled eggs that looked and tasted as if they had been made from powdered mix.

After what happened to us and the way we were treated, we will never set foot in this hotel again. I do not recommend this place to anyone and will make sure to warn all my friends and fellow travelers.

Just back from our third time for us staying at Sunwing! For us as a family with young kids this hotel is ideal. Great hotel, great staff, lovely clean/modern rooms and of course the kids loved Lollo & Bernie 🦒🧸

This is the 2nd time we’ve upgraded to AI on arrival as cheaper to do it this way than pay for it at booking. Works out €56 a day per adult and all children are free. We are a family of 6 (2 adults 4 children) so well worth it for us especially for drinks, ice creams and snacks. Mini market next to the pool and priced well for snacks and drinks if you’re not AI. Food does get a bit samey but there was always usually lots to choose from.

Only slight downside is nightly entertainment. The team who do some of the shows do put effort in but think it would be good to have some variety and possibly bring in some acts/shows in which many other hotels tend to do.

Staff are all great. Made us feel at home and even remembered us from last couple of times.
