Located in the most privileged area of the south of Tenerife, this exclusive Adults Only Resort of 50 villas with swimming pool is charmed with 3 spectacular views: the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean on the right, the green of the Costa Adeje golf course in front and the silhouette of the mountains and the Roque del Conde on the left.
Its elegant architecture and the originality of its contemporary design, together with the masterful use of natural materials from the island, make this luxury hotel a unique reference in the Canary Islands.
In its facilities, there are 29 River Suites surrounded by two large pools-river; a central pool with Cocoon loungers and tropical palm trees; 17 villas with private pool and 4 luxurious stilt houses on a lake with turquoise waters.
In order to enrich this experience of relaxation and romance, the Royal River has an infinity pool in the hotel's solarium to enjoy magnificent sunsets, a Spa with a thermal cave inspired by a Mexican cenote and a Hamman for beauty therapies inspired by Arab culture.

Perfection!
This is the most magnificent haven. Cannot fault it. From arrival to departure. Such a beautiful oasis complete calm and tranquility, so stunning, the rooms communal areas the villas the pools the flora all beautiful. No attention to detail has been missed in this wonderful place. Fabulous quality of finishes towels linen etc. villas has everything including wine fridge mini bar plenty of tea coffee etc. the staff are wonderful, from arrival at reception to the charming breakfast staff the incredible chamber staff who visit twice a day and are exceptional. The wonderful staff at lunchtimes and bar. The waiters and waitresses all amazing friendly funny and helpful and professional. Nothing is too much trouble, the evening staff who are in the Top restaurant the Flamingo and Pineapple are second to none. We cannot thank them enough for making our week special memorable relaxing indulgent and just the best experience we have ever had in a hotel. Special thanks to Alejandro, just the most charming waiter. Food is exquisite from Top restaurant to an informal stir fry by the pool to the Italian tasting and my favourite the BBQ. Highly recommend the floating lunch in the villa as well. What a treat. We will be back.

The perfect place to stay in Tenerife
Our stay at Hotel Royal River was exceptional from start to finish. The villa was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The breakfast was absolutely brilliant, with an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality food to suit every taste. It was one of the highlights of each day.
The spa was fantastic and had everything you could possibly need for a truly relaxing experience. The facilities were immaculate, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to recharge.
Overall, this was a genuine 5-star experience in every way. From the outstanding accommodation and facilities to the exceptional service, everything exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Hotel Royal River and can't wait to return!

Exceptional 5-Star Anniversary Stay – Absolutely Stunning An experience that truly allows you to relax
We have just returned and already missing this stunning oasis.
From the very minute we arrived at the Royal River Luxury Hotel for our wedding anniversary, we were blown away.
The service here is truly exceptional and deserves every bit of its 5-star rating "try 6 stars". Every single staff member—from the welcoming reception team to the efficient porters and the catering staff—went above and beyond to make our stay special.
We stayed in a stunning hotel villa that "for once the pictures of the place are real!" so much so I added ours. The entire complex is immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly well cared for.
Absolutely nothing was too much to ask, and the staff's helpful, warm attitude made a huge impression on us. It is such a beautiful place, and a return visit is definitely on the cards for us.

Hotel fine, restaurant service terrible.
My partner and I went to the hotel restaurant for a meal. After ordering our food my meal soon arrived, but we had to wait another 10 minutes for my partner's meal to come to the table, by which time my meal was cold. Another 10 minutes passed before my side order of chips was served; at least they were hot. I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the service and the response was for the employee to complain that he was very busy. Since only 4 tables were occupied I didn't think he was exactly rushed off his feet.
100% would recommend!!
My husband and I booked the Royal River for our honeymoon and the hotel did not disappoint. The hotel and room was absolutely beautiful and we would highly recommend a villa that has a private pool leading out to the lazy river! As for the staff, they were incredible. Sadly, my husband was hospitalised whilst we were away on our honeymoon and the care, compassion and support to us both made a difficult time so much easier. If you are thinking about staying, I would encourage you to book as we couldn't fault a single thing!
