Wouldn’t recommend for young couples
Me and my boyfriend, 18+19 came here for a week. When we got to the hotel we went straight to our room, inside we found the Aircon did not work, the shower did not work properly, the balcony door wouldn’t close, our sofa was wet and had loads of stains that were still wet aswell on it and the floors were dirty. We went downstairs to ask for the Aircon, shower and balcony door to be fixed and our sheets to be changed since hair was everywhere, where we were greeted with an unpleasant employee on guest services who acted as if we were the issue and even rolled her eyes. She told us someone would be up to sort it all. We went back up to our room and waited, a guy came in to fix the shower and balcony door and was in there for over half an hour. This was not how we wanted to start our holiday by waiting around in the hotel room for our room to be fixed. I went back down stairs and said this isn’t how we wanted to start our holiday where the lady told me ‘I never said you had to wait around in the room did I?’ Never, would anyone who has their passports and money etc in the room leave all of it unattended with people in the room. A cleaner also then entered are room who also made it clear she wasn’t happy and didn’t even speak to us.. the guest services lady told me the reason the sofa was damp was from cleaning ..I have asthma and it was clear it was dirty and it was left. Once this was all done the room was a lot better. (Even though the guy who fixed our shower left all his mess on the ground that we cleaned up) However, the next day our Aircon stopped working again. We received no proper apologies and felt very uncomfortable mentioning any issues again to the staff. On top of this.. building works were going on the entire week we were their right next to where the pool was. Loads of people were moaning and it wasn’t relaxing at all. Other than this.. food was great and I’d like to make a special shout out to Johnny!! It’s people like him that make holidays enjoyable.. he is amazing! Overall, wouldn’t recommend as a young couple as we felt quite intimidated by reception staff.

Me and my partner has had a brilliant stay at the hovima suites. We were made very welcome by everyone especially Jonny and all of the entertainment staff. We will be back.

Fab experience!
This has been the most incredible week! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay memorable. Especially the animation team for the entertainment around the pool and on the nights. They were so friendly especially Jonny.
Hotel Review - July 2026
I recently stayed here with my girlfriend for our first holiday together and I do not have a bad word to say about the hotel! We paid for half board which was exactly all we needed, we was still able to swap dinner for lunch at reception which was very handy when we wanted to do different things on each day of our stay. The rooms was constantly cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc, we was very lucky that our balcony was facing the pool and wasn’t far from the lift lobby at all. The buffet was without doubt the best I’ve ever had in any hotel I have ever been to! Not a bad thing about it, so many options during breakfast, lunch/dinner and always decent amount of seats to sit at, same situation around the pools there was no need to get up mega early to get decent seats there was always good sunbeds everyday! The location of the hotel has so much around it aswell which is all walking distance and Siam park being only a 10/15 minute taxi journey away aswell is also a bonus. Whenever I next go back to Tenerife I will 110% be staying here again and would highly recommend for such a good price aswell!

Location was great and the rooms were so nice!! Service was great all staff were lovely, especially jonny, so friendly and wholesome! Definitely recommend this hotel
