Labranda Bahia Fanabe and Villas

I am writing this message to express our deep appreciation for the excellent work you do every day. Thanks to your professionalism and attention to detail, your hotel manages to maintain the highest standards of comfort and safety for our guests, every interaction starting with the warm welcome at the reception, the impeccable cleanliness maintained daily, the excellent dishes offered by the kitchen team, the kindness of the serving staff demonstrated to us what superior quality services mean and the lady who took care of my room E29 with professionalism always with a smile on her face even though I know it is not easy to do this job, the chef gets a 10 with congratulations for all the goodies he has spoiled us day after day, thank you and I recommend this Hotel 100% with confidence 😊

Overall, we had a great time during our stay at Bluesea Bahia in Adeje. Most importantly for us was the food which was both delicious and plentiful and we always found something for everyone for each meal as we were AI. Kids especially loved the pancakes for breakfast and you can get fresh omelette's made to order also. Always a couple of fresh meat dishes cooked for lunch and dinner. Desserts were fine also. Drinks were ok and you can choose from two cocktails of the day on the AI and any spirits you want. Beer, Wine and soft drinks can be poured yourself.

Only negative we found with the drinks was the cocktails and spirits were only available at the lobby bar (until 6pm). As this bar is located away from the main pool and restaurant area we felt the cocktails of the day and the spirits should have been available at the snack bar also which is located at the main pool area where you can only get the beer, wine and soft drinks until 6pm so people had to walk out to the other bar in the heat (you are on holidays after all 🙂). We just felt this was possibly a tactic to prevent people having easy access to the cocktails and spirits so prevent us making full use of the AI and cut costs.

The all-inclusive ice-creams which were delicious, again, are only available at the lobby bar and really should be more freely available to guests as the fridge is actually locked and can only be accessed by staff members. They too should be freely available at the snack bar near the restaurant and also in the restaurant at meal times imho.

Rooms were very spacious and clean with cleaners in every other day with towels and to change beds. We had a suite with rooftop terrace which was lovely to sit out in the evenings.

The life guards are a little too serious and strict which is preventing people having fun which is what holidays is all about - not allowing kids to use rings in all the pools is unnecessary and gave them the nickname of the 'fun police' while we were there.

While the above few negatives are nothing too major and did not have a major effect on our holiday, if they were changed I feel it would really enhance the guests experience overall.

Location is excellent, far enough away from the busy strip that it's nice and quiet at night but less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and bars etc.
