IBEROSTAR Anthelia

I recently decided on a last minute Solo trip to Tenerife: Sunday 30th August 26 for 6 Nights. Looking on line I found the Anthelia Iberostar Hotel, as this hotel comes under the IHG group, I used my IHG points to book the hotel. On arrival and being a Platinum IHG member, the gentleman who checked me in was very polite and professional. He thanked me for being a IHG member and due to my status Upgraded my room to a Full Seaview room at no extra charge. He was also able to offer me a discount on an All Inclusive package. He explained the layout of the hotel, restaurant times, Pool locations and everything else i needed to know. The Hotel had a very impressive entrance lobby and the hotel grounds are immaculate. My room was very spacious and clean, coffee machine and waterfall shower were also nice touches. During my stay I used the Zeus restaurant, I must say the food was of exceptional quality and offered a wide selection of dishes. On Wednesday I had Lobster ( At no extra charge ) and Ribeye steak most lunchtimes. House Keeping came to the room ( around 19.00 Hrs ) each day, to turn down the bed and offer fresh towels. The Pool area was very clean and never seemed crowded. There was both a Salt Water Pool and Fresh Water Pool. What really made the stay was the staff. Every member of staff I interacted with was very polite, professional and couldn't do enough for you. They really are a credit to the hotel, Directors & Senior Managers. I can't remember everyone's names, but there where a few members of staff which stood out:

Mercedes - House Keeping, keeping my room spotless and well stocked Cristion, Antonio & Ezequiel - Lounge Bar, for their outstanding service, conversation Alejandro - Pool Service - Outstanding service, humour and always keeping my glass full. Michal Konecki - Duty Manager - For going that extra mile and making my stay an absolute 10/10 5 Star.

We’ve been to this hotel many times, we find it difficult to find anywhere else as good, it would be exceptionally difficult to find anywhere better for the same money. The staff are terrific, the food perfect (we’ve never, ever had poor food) the position of the hotel is excellent. This hotel has suited our family since they spent time in the kids club and now, in their late teens and early 20’s they’re still happy to spend time here with their parents and grandparents. There is something for us all, we don’t need to worry about sorting out cooking or cleaning, thank you to all the staff, they work so hard to give all their customers a good holiday and it pays off. I’m hopeless with names, but from reception, to dining rooms, kitchens, bars, cleaners and the energetic girls and boys who organise the activities and the evening entertainment, every single one of the team are exceptionally good at looking after everyone. I forgot to mention the repairmen too, we had a problem with the wardrobe, the door wouldn’t close properly and it blocked the drawers, we mentioned it and it was fixed in no time. Thank you everyone, my only complaint is you’re all too good, we daren’t go anywhere else and the time goes by far too quickly!!!

Our overall experience was amazing, the best hotel and service I have experienced and better than other 5 star resorts in my opinion. I can't praise the staff at Iberostar Selection Anthelia highly enough, it was an amazing team who have exceptional customer service ethos and consistently friendly and helpful approach. Everyone was highly professional, friendly, welcoming and inclusive. From reception, to restaurant, pool bar, lifeguards and cleaning staff. A friendly smile, offer to help without over stepping. Lovely people doing a great job. Thank you.
