A wonderful honeymoon with our little daughte
We spent our honeymoon at HOVIMA La Pinta with our 18-month-old daughter, and we couldn't have chosen a better place for this special trip. From the very beginning, we were impressed by the warm welcome and hospitality of the entire staff. Everyone we met was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. Most of all, we really appreciated how genuinely warm and gentle everyone was with our little daughter. Not once did anyone deny her a smile — whether at the restaurant, by the pool, around the hotel or simply passing by. Those little gestures made us feel truly welcome as a family. A special mention goes to the Baby Club, which was extremely useful for us during our stay. Our daughter loved spending time there, and we could see how much care and attention she received. A huge thank you to Alicia, Nuria and Nerea, who were wonderful with her and made the Baby Club such a happy and welcoming place. Their kindness helped make our stay even more enjoyable and gave us parents some precious moments to relax and enjoy our honeymoon together. We are vegetarian, all three of us, and we were happy to find suitable vegetarian alternatives during our meals. There was enough variety for us to enjoy the food without feeling limited by our dietary choices. We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of our room and the hotel in general. Everything was well maintained, and the pool area was another highlight of our stay. We spent many enjoyable moments there, especially with our daughter. The location is excellent, right next to the beach. The convenient access via the stairs made it very easy for us to go back and forth between the hotel and the beach, which was particularly useful with a small child. Overall, HOVIMA La Pinta was exactly what we were looking for: a relaxing honeymoon where we could enjoy some time as a couple while also having everything we needed for our little family. The combination of the excellent location, cleanliness, facilities and, above all, the wonderful staff made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to everyone at HOVIMA La Pinta for making our honeymoon so special, and a very special thank you to Alicia, Nuria and Nerea for taking such good care of our little girl. We will remember this stay with a big smile and would be very happy to come back in the future!

Wonderful family holiday – perfect for families with young children
We stayed at HOVIMA La Pinta as a family of five, travelling with Grandma and Grandpa and our one-year-old baby. We booked Half Board Plus and Excellence, and overall we had a wonderful stay and created memories that we will never forget.
Location: The location is absolutely wonderful. The hotel is right by the sea, with plenty of beautiful paths and promenades for walks. There are lots of shops, restaurants and cafés within walking distance, so there is really no need to use a car. It is also conveniently located close to the airport, which made travelling with a one-year-old much easier.
The apartment: One of the things we appreciated most is that there are not many hotels where the rooms are actually full apartments. This was perfect for us with a one-year-old, as he had plenty of space to move around and play. It was also very convenient that we could prepare something simple for him in the apartment when needed.
The pools: The pools were excellent and we really enjoyed spending time there as a family.
Food: The food was excellent, with a huge variety of choices. Although the breakfast selection was quite similar each day, this really didn't bother us because there was so much to choose from. There were also plenty of suitable options for our one-year-old.
Even though we had Excellence, we chose to have breakfast in the main restaurant rather than the separate Excellence breakfast area. For us, it was simply more convenient — there was no real crowd when we went and there was plenty of choice, so we were very happy with it.
We also really appreciated the flexibility of Half Board Plus. We could change dinner to lunch whenever we wanted; we just had to let reception know before 12:00 that day. This was especially useful with a one-year-old and his routine.
We also tried the Themed Restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent. With a one-year-old, however, the dinner time felt a little late for us and the whole experience was a bit slow for our family. That said, I can imagine that couples or families with older children would really enjoy the experience.
Baby Club: We only used the Baby Club once because unfortunately the opening hours overlapped with our baby's usual sleeping times. However, the club itself was lovely, with lots of different toys and very friendly staff.
Activities: We didn't take part in many of the activities because our little one is still too young, but from what we saw from a distance, they looked fun and varied. I can definitely imagine families with slightly older children having a fantastic time taking part in them.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the apartment could have been a little better. We do have quite high standards when it comes to cleanliness, so perhaps we are more demanding than average. That being said, the hotel itself is very well maintained and overall very clean.
And finally — the staff: This deserves a special mention. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but I have honestly never experienced such genuinely friendly and kind staff. Everyone we met was incredibly welcoming and helpful.
On our last day, we had a late flight home, and the hotel kindly allowed us to keep our apartment until 3 pm and have lunch before leaving. This was incredibly helpful with a one-year-old and made our last day so much easier.
To any family with young children reading this: don't hesitate — book this hotel! ❤️
This was our first family holiday abroad involving a flight, and I know we will never forget it. HOVIMA La Pinta gave us such a wonderful first experience as a family, and we truly hope we will have the opportunity to come back again one day.
