We had such an amazing experience. We had a 15 year old golf fanatic who was taken to the driving range at the drop of a hat and the choice of two golf courses to hand was fantastic. The golf was very good value. The staff were so helpful and friendly there. Life guard even came to villa to patch up a cut foot. The villas were so well stocked and cleaned every day. It was such a lovely relaxed and quiet atmosphere. The location was on a hill but was so easy to get quick and cheap taxis to wherever you wanted to go on the island. The walk was also lovely!! We will most certainly be return customers to the hotel.
Our first family holiday to Tenerife. In our group we had 5 adults and a teenager, we booked the 3 bedroom villa with private pool. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who took our luggage and took us to the reception area. Check in was very fast and we got welcome drinks which was lovely. We were then taken to our villa by buggy and as it was night time when we arrived we had to wait until the morning to see about the resort. Our villa was very clean, rooms were air conditioned and everything we needed was included in the villa. The plunge pool outside was great and suited my son who has autism and never went into a pool in years but because the pool is private he was able to get in and out without any stress. The pool is 1 meter 30 depth and just big enough for floats etc. There are also 6 pool loungers with comfy thick cushions which are fantastic! The area is quiet and our villa over looked the golf course and the only noise was from the few golfers that passed and the days that the green was mowed but nothing loud. We ate in the hotel and the food was good but the menu was the same each evening but tasty. We did get a taxi (15 min) to las Americas for a couple of evenings and it was a case of asking at reception for a taxi just before you go, taxis are widely available in the bigger towns or Ubers. The smaller town La Caleta is about 10 minutes walk downhill, the walk back up takes longer lol especially if you’ve had food or drinks but easy to get a taxi if needed..La Caleta is a beautiful small town with many restaurants and they do be busy in the late evenings. The hotel bar Varanda was lovely and the bar staff very friendly and attentive, there is live music each evening and it was a lovely area to sit and have drinks and a lovely cocktail menu to select from. Breakfast was great, a large selection of fresh fruits, breads, continental breakfast or hot food breakfast were available and always freshly replenished which we really liked, plenty of seating areas for all group sizes and you just go in and sit where you wanted. I loved my stay at villa suite Maria and I would definitely come back, if you’re seeking a peaceful relaxing holiday but want to go to the near by towns for food etc then I would definitely recommend this hotel, definitely feeling the holiday blues now since returning home. Thank you villa suite Maria for a wonderful holiday 😊
I’m a little late with my review as I misplaced the business card. This review is to thank Senora Antonia, who despite the early morning start always helps everyone’s day get off to a great start with her 😀amazingly cooked eggs. Anyway you would like to eat them. Not easy when trying to please lots of people who aren’t always morning folk . 😁
This is our second stay at this hotel and unfortunetly not as goo d as the first. This was probably due to the time of year which was the school holidays.
Our villa was extremly clean and well appointed but our neighbours were extremly noisy until about one in the morning.
Breakfast was very enjoyable with a good selection with delicious omlettes made by the wonderful Antonia.
If you enjoy a swim you will need to do it before 10am as the pools fill with inflatables and ball games and a lot of sunbeds are reserved. There are still plenty free and somedays the pool was quite others it was like Siam Park
The hotel is halfway up a hill which is an easy walk down to town and a 4 euro taxi back. Although some drivers do chance their luck, thats taxi drivers the world over. Travel on the local buses is also a good cheap option.
If you have a family you will really enjoy the hotel with two nice pools for inflatables and ball games. As for couples you may find it difficult to get any peace to relax.
2nd time back this year and yet again - amazing! Villas are absolutely beautiful, with wonderful views. Kids entertainment is good with something on everyday. All staff are always on hand to help with anything! Anto is always welcoming with a big smile on her face. Anto booked Loro Parque for us (again) with transfers and the day went smooth. We will be back - thank you for another amazing family stay x
