The staff were welcoming from the minute we walked in. The amenities were lovely and the pools and sky pool were perfect. There was enough food choice to make our choices different each day and the staff were very helpful in ensuring we could do as much or as little as we wanted to. They booked two amazing experiences for us and would trust them to do it again. We are already planning on visiting again.
Stunning hotel with immaculate surroundings and facilities. Tooms spacious and again immaculate with the privilege roof top bar the best of the bunch. BUT. The service in the Piano bar is poor, faces on staff stern and feels like you shouldn't go there. Inly other poor point is Italian restaurant. Was more like a high street pizza and pasta high street restaurant not a top star eatery.
We stayed for a week in August with teens and a 9 year old. We had a lovely week, hotel is great, rooms cool and spacious. No sunbed wars here you can come down any time of the day and find a place to sit by the pool. People just dont reserve here they've managed it well or quite simply they have enough sun beds for all its guests. Pools are lovely We used the large pools and the adult only pool. We stayed all inclusive which was great no issues with service, glod choixe of food, wait times at the bar were reasonable. Only negative is a miserable lady at the reception wasn't wanting to help us secure a restaurant booking in the oriental restaurant on site, we were split between 3 rooms as a 2 familes and she wouldn't book a reservation for us said we all had to download the app and book ourselves. Seemed very unhelpful I dont believe they dont have access to do that, when we arrived we were told they can help and book restaurants. We couldn't be bothered to sit and download 3 apps and log in for each room. We had a family birthday while here we got a email to say happy birthday and here are 2 free drinks, bit of a waste when all Inclusive as drinks are free anyway but at least they emailed. We would come again we had a great holiday.
Relaxing stay. Liked the facilities. The evening shows could be better. Choice of vegetarian food could do with more options.
We just got back after a 10 night family holiday. Overall we had a lovely time. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The reception area is beautiful! The food was pretty nice throughout the stay and we had meals at the Italian and Tepenyake restaurants which were both nice. The alcohol is all branded which is fantastic! but the cocktails are rubbish.
Some things that weren't great...the day time entertainment is pretty much non-existent. They have a few activities on for the kids but most of them are away from the main pool area. Most days there wasn't even any music playing around the pool which made the general atmosphere a bit dull. Most hotels I've stayed at at least have a few pool games and activities each day to make it more fun. I was surprised to see none of that here given how many kids there were at the hotel! It just made what could have been an incredible hotel stay a little less fun.
Also, the fact you have to get glasses of water from the bar is bizarre! I've never stayed in an all-inclusive hotel that doesnt have bottles or at least water machines accessible throughout the hotel. When its hot and you're thirsty, the last thing you want to do is queue at a bar for 5-10 mins each time for a glass of water!
Other little things that are odd for a 4 star hotel are having the pay to change pool towels each day. I've never known that! and having to pay for ice lollies (ice cream was free).
Overall its a nice hotel and I would stay again but only if I wanted a really quiet, chilled holiday. If you want a bit more fun and entertainment maybe go elsewhere.
