This modern and luxurious hotel is located in the north of Playa de las Américas, in Tenerife. The airport is about 15 minutes away by car. The complex is ideally situated on the seaside, surrounded by numerous beautiful beaches, trendy restaurants and nightclubs ideal to have a delicious dinner or a couple of drinks. Public transportation links are in the vicinity. The excellent climate the island has year-round allows guests have an unforgettable experience. The property offers a wide selection of healthy and wonderful food options that will please all types of tastes. For visitor’s relaxation, the spa will receive them with open arms to get the stress out of their bodies. Each visitor will love the outdoor pool area since they can sunbathe on a sunbed or enjoy under the shadow of an umbrella. The rooms have been perfectly decorated with light and warm tones to create cosy atmosphere and make travellers feel comfortable and have the greatest experience.

Recommend and choose Gold Level is our tip!
Lovely 8 nights at the Gran Tacande as family of 4. We had 2 teenagers and booked direct with the hotel across 2 rooms on B&B basis which we booked next to each other on the room selector. We booked Gold level with a swim up room and glad we did as it included taxi's to and from the airport, meal in restaurant on 1st night, drinks and snacks from 10am until 6pm in the gold level access, vouchers for Moet on the roof top bar, Spa circuit access and discounts in nearby restaurant at the front. The hotel is lovely and clean, pools all nice, great location for both La Caleta and more upmarket restaurants nearby and also walking distance to lots of bars. Water in room everyday, clean towels, great breakfast with lots of high quality choice, plus drinks in hotel that we had a few nights after 6pm not overly expensive. We found Costa Adeje plentiful for places to eat and drink, we also went for strolls and morning walks/runs across the front straight out of the hotel. Hotel Gym is also very good quality. All staff very welcoming and we felt valued as a customers of the hotel. We also ate in the hotel for lunch a couple of times and enjoyed it. Overall highly recommend the hotel and would return. Thank you for making our stay in Costa Adeje comfortable and enjoyable!

Fantastic hotel with fantastic staff
Just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel. Started well with refreshing drinks at reception and only got better thereafter. We had booked a gold level room and for the minimal increase in price you get so much more, I would highly recommend. Room was well appointed with dressing gown slippers and good quality bath products supplied. Usual hairdryer etc but also a free vanity pack (comb shower cap, toothbrush etc). Wi-fi was adequate with free use of hotel Wi-Fi. TV showing all main international channels including main UK channels if that’s your thing. Swim up pool right outside leading to the private gold level patio with free sun beds and several cabanas. Local wine beer and cava available at the private bar. Gentle background music plays but is not so loud as to put you off reading or sunbathing etc. pool towels are free. The gym is well equipped and modern. The spa next door is truly amazing with hydro pools, sauna, steam room, salt room and even ice room. Gold level guests get one free visit otherwise pay for the day. We went half board but lunch (daily sandwich) was provided free so with free drinks it is almost ‘all inclusive’. Private lift to the main pool (free towels again for hotel guests) and children’s pools etc. Gentle wellness classes (yoga, aqua aerobics etc) held each day. There are various restaurants on site but stayed with the main buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was always fresh, well prepared and delicious. The head chef was in the restaurant most days to maintain standards and genuinely wants feedback which clearly shows how quality is being maintained. Waiters will bring you wine, beer, tea, coffee etc and clear the plates between courses. All you have to do is choose and enjoy. Several bars in the main hotel but we preferred the roof top bar with amazing views over the bay. Prices for drinks were very reasonable considering the genuine 5 star rating of the hotel. The real stars of the hotel are the staff. I did not meet one who didn’t acknowledge us with a cheery HOLA ask if there was anything we needed and the few minor issues we did have were dealt with immediately. The various managers who are also around each day are very approachable and willing to take responsibility for resolving any problem. Not something I have regularly found in other hotels I have stayed in. If you want a relaxing holiday in elegant surroundings then I recommend this hotel.

Back Again
Been visiting this hotel since 2014, so why do we keep going back?
The Hotel is very clean with all areas being very well maintained, the pools, gardens and all restaurants are well looked after. There are many colleagues who we have got to know with some still there from our first visit, all of the colleagues are very good, with special mentions to Ruth, Joni and Cosmin in the restaurant, Philipe and Felix in the San Sebastián, Manuel, Cesar and Alexi in the bars, Christina the Manager making us very welcome as usual and a special mention to Maria the Asst Manager who dealt with our issue in a very professional manner and resolved it quickly and to our satisfaction, well done and thank you Maria.
I would advise if you have anything you feel is not right or you are unhappy with, just talk to the Customer Experience Team, they will always resolve your issue.
The hotel location is fantastic, right on the front with walks either way to La Caleta and Los Americas the other, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants around. Breakfast in the Zuron was very good as was the Buffet in the evening, the hotel was not over busy so we experienced no issues with waiting.
In the hotel we did dine at the Bocoy restaurant one night and the food and service were excellent, well worth a try.
The Spa and Gym are very good, although some air conditioning in then gym would make it perfect. We will return again as we feel very comfortable and well looked after.

Visited here twice , hotel is lovely and clean . Staff are friendly enough look after you every time . We went for bed and breakfast but tried dinner time there twice . It’s about 40£PP but it’s delicious 😋 we eat out few night, there is restaurants near by hotel with short distance , check their menus before you go in , but believe me or not hotel food are much better ! There is nice gym and spa , pool areas are great and all of them are nice temp to swim especially for kids , one thing you need to be aware of is pools are salted , so it was not to great for my little one especially when scratching eyes etc ( not good ) but otherwise I love all of them pools . Nice terrace upstairs sunset bar , worth to try . We all loved it .
Will be back again same place another time , well worth of money you pay .

We stayed at this hotel at the end of Jun, booked two Deluxe Side Ocean View rooms, they were very spacious and full of light, they provided coffee machine and teas, there was also a shower and bath, they clean the rooms everyday too and it had a double door to avoid any noise coming from outside. At reception they gave us all the information needed to have a lovely stay, quick check in and offered to keep our luggage and a room to get changed after check out. For breakfast and dinner there was a buffet, the staff was very kind and friendly. (Special mention to Damelys, Anna and Lorenzo at breakfast. Ricardo at dinner time was very quick to help with questions asked and serving crepes. At the table the waiters Carlos manuel, Tatiana, Ruth and Jony were there to help with the seating and drinks). The food was delicious and had live music during dinner too. The azotea bar had a lovely view perfect for sunset also with live music and so the bar next to the reception. There were activities in the pool too and the gym was big with enough equipment for a good work out. We didn't use the Spa facilities but they look good too. The beach is less than 5min walk and there are also restaurants nearby. In general it was and amazing experience, definitely recommend it and if we go back to Tenerife we will be staying there again.
