Genuinely Exceptional
From the moment we arrived, the staff set the tone for the whole stay. Valentina checked us in, spotted we hadn't eaten, and booked us a table at Upalupa without a second thought. Marcos carried our bags, showed us the room, and offered to wait while we got ready before driving us to the restaurant by buggy (golf carts that zip guests around the grounds). He didn’t just drop us off, but stayed with us until we were greeted by the restaurant’s host to personally introduce us. That warmth carried through every interaction — Pamela and Johannes at breakfast were equally wonderful, and you could feel how much pride the whole team takes in the place.
The room (531, garden view, fifth floor) was spotless, spacious, and the bed was enormous. Housekeeping was always done before we were back from breakfast, and turndown was just as reliable. It was my husband's birthday, and the hotel left a card, chocolates, and wine — a genuinely lovely touch that meant a lot.
We booked spa treatments by email a few weeks before arriving. Andra replied promptly, and was there at reception to greet us in person when we showed up — she even remembered our exchange, which felt really special. The 90-minute Thai massage is absolutely next level. Highly recommend.
One honest note: the outdoor spa facilities don't quite match the rest of the hotel. The treatment rooms are immaculate, but the spa pool, saunas, and women's changing room felt a little unloved. One shower was overflowing, and the infused water station was nearly empty. It's a small thing, but noticeable against an otherwise flawless standard.
The views are even more stunning than the photos, and the hotel never feels crowded, there's so much to explore. Just worth knowing it sits on a steep cliff so mobility could be a consideration — though buggies and staff are always on hand if you need them.
We will definitely go back in a heartbeat.

This was our fifth stay and we were not disappointed. The consistency of standards and the friendliness of staff makes the Bahia our first choice hotel in Tenerife. The layout of the resort gives the feeling of space and the choice of areas to relax, getting a sunbed is not an issue, one of the team will find one for you. The onsite restaurants offer a good range of menus, offering excellent value and high quality food and wine.. The rooms are a good size with all the usual amenities that you expect. One of the attractions the hotel is the quick access to the the well maintained promenade giving you a choice to walk left towards the lively playa Adeje or right to the quieter area of Caleta with many stopping off points for sustenance

Absolutely fantastic
Absolutely lovely. From check in to check out. Fantastic staff, food and accommodation. Beautiful hotel. Patrick went out of his way every time we saw him. My friend has an egg allergy, everyone checked each time just to confirm her food was safe. The buggy drivers were fantastic. Reception ladies were so helpful. It didn’t matter we got lost every day 🤪 we all had the best time.

Fabulous repeat stay
Excellent break at Bahia, returning after a couple of years as it’s been booked out. Fantastic stay, beautiful property on many levels and different aspects to its grounds including a nature lake, multiple pools , superb spa and first class restaurants . Great location on the coastal path with easy access to busier area and La Caleta. Highly recommended , we will return .
