Costa Adeje

This charming complex is situated in a quiet location in the centre of Costa Adeje. The sprawling beach and the promenade, with its many shopping and entertainment venues, lie not far from the property. The bus station is 100 m from the complex, and the Magma Art and Congress Centre is just 50 m away. This hotel is composed of a 9-storey building with a total of 102 studios and 39 apartments. The welcoming rooms all feature an en- suite bathroom, a kitchenette and balcony as standard. The complex offers the use of a freshwater swimming pool, with an area for kids, and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Guests can play beach volleyball, billiards and table tennis on-site.

Nice but slightly disappointed

Me and my partner are currently still here at the hotel, and before arriving I had read lots of reviews, and any bad ones I ignored… the hotel it’s self is lovely and clean, the rooms are also clean and the beds are comfy and the pillows are amazing! We have loved the chilled vibes around the pool and have never struggled to get a sunbed although there are people that will put towels out at 9am which is fine tbh as you can then go and have breakfast…I think the one thing that lets this hotel down is the food, I’m not fussy and have always found something to eat but the food is just not that great and is not usually hot, they have provided a microwave but I think for a 4* hotel you shouldn’t really have to heat up food! There isn’t much choice really, and for all inclusive I think it’s pretty poor and the drinks are not that great either…. Such a shame! There is self service drinks which is handy, water still and sparkling on tap, beer on tap, wine and sangria also on tap and fizzy on an actual Coca Cola dispenser…. We have eaten out a few times as the food has not been great…. I would defo come back to Tenerife but unfortunately prob not to this hotel….unless we just had bed and breakfast..

Don’t go all inclusive !!

Let’s start positively…the location was just right for what we were after. On the edge of las americas and Costa adeje. Not too much of a hill to climb. Hotel was quite modern, plenty of outdoor seating. Rooms nice, modern and spacious, bathrooms had everything you needed, rainfall shower, hand hose, hairdrier etc. beds were very comfortable. Balconies for all rooms get the sun all day. There’s a rooftop terrace which was never busy but a pain to keep going up and down to the restaurant for drinks. There’s are other decks or: yoga deck that never seems to be in use and a very large deck over the gym which nobody seemed to use but us. Staff were amazing, so helpful and polite. Nothing was too much bother the maid even noticed it was my dad’s birthday and we came back to a bottle of cava and cakes which was so lovely. Siam park is literally right behind the hotel and only a 10 minute walk which is nothing. Now the negatives: we were at the back of the hotel and as the bus station is across the road, you could hear the reversing signal all day and all night. The pool was nice but could never get a sun lounger, had to either sit at the sofa area at the back of the restaurant, one of the other decks or go to our room to sit on the balcony. Food was, borderline average, all the hot food looked the same colour and lukewarm. Some odd combinations ie: pepper and soy wrap, tofu in mojo sauce (dad thought it was chicken). Lots of pre made deserts. missed the bbq both weeks due to the times of arriving and departure. Flight time meant we checked in after service was finished but no sandwich, snacks or water available so we had to go and find a supermarket for bits. Check out is 12 which is fab but as a “ gesture of goodwill” they give you a voucher to have lunch - you pay for 7 days all inclusive but don’t actually get 7 days ..6 and breakfast ! Would I stay here again, maybe but not all inclusive !!

Don't go there if you like hygiene, good food and calm.

We went for 8 days and 7 nights.

I do not recommend this hotel.

Rooms are not clean, we had cockroaches every other day.

The bathroom shower was leaking water all around because they apparently can't do proper joints. Some areas had mold.

On the first evening there was a complete electricity blackout for a dozen rooms (including ours). It lasted from early evening until the middle of the night. No compensation was offered for this.

Staff is unpleasant, if you ask them something it feels like you're just annoying them. You can order take-away food until 21:00. But don't dare ordering at 20:55 you're going to annoy them and get the worst food as a result. Chicken salad with 3 ridiculously small chicken strips and 90% salad and dressing. 14€ for this.

Surrounding location was fine for us, convenient to walk around and access things quicky.

We did have a parking space on the day of arrival but I can imagine that with only 7 spaces, a lot of people will not have our luck.

The noise pollution was the worst part. Our room was basically just above the bar. People stay there sometimes until 1 in the morning, they speak, they laugh, they even sing sometimes. There is basically no noise dampening, maybe 10% when you close the terrace windows. So you hear the people outside like they're in the room with you. When you have an activity starting at 7 in the morning the next day, it's not fun.

You can also hear people in the other rooms. My partner was awoken in the middle of the night by a crying woman. Weirdly enough she was crying that she doesn't want to go back home. I can't understand her considering the state of this hotel.

I'm glad the staff doesn't care about you as they didn't even ask "how was your stay" at check-out. I would probably have missed my plane with everything I had to say.

5 star stay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with my mum and would 100% come back!

Our room was super clean, beautifully decorated and really comfortable. The food and drinks included in the all-inclusive package were great, with plenty of choice, including lots of healthy options as well as some sweet treats. The cost of the all-inclusive was definitely worth it, especially with the variety and quality of food and drinks available throughout our stay.

The staff were all so lovely, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. As someone who also works in hospitality, I know when service is genuine, and both my mum and I really felt that here. Everyone made us feel so welcome and looked after.

The pool and lounge areas were also great — really clean, peaceful and perfect for relaxing.

Lastly, the location is ideal. You're close to the beach, bars and everything you need, but still far enough away that you can enjoy peace and quiet during your stay.

If you're looking for somewhere to switch off, relax and enjoy a week away, I would definitely recommend staying here. We had such a lovely time, and I will 100% be coming back! ☀️❤️

Better than the mixed reviews suggest

Went as a couple in the first week of September. The reviews are very mixed, so hopefully I can clarify a few things!

We stayed bed and breakfast and had a top-floor sea-view room, which at the time of booking was the best deal available. We paid £80 per night for 5 nights, so for the price we were very happy overall.

Room: We had read mixed reviews about the cleaning standards, but we found the cleaners to be amazing. The room was cleaned every day, with towels and bedding changed regularly, and they even did the washing up for us and mopped the floors. The general fit and finish of the room is fine. The bathroom door got stuck on our first day, which was annoying, but to be fair they sorted it straight away. The shower is a cool design, although it does let some water onto the bathroom floor, and because the bathroom is mostly glass it does let a bit of daylight through into the room in the morning.

There were also mixed reviews about the air conditioning, but ours was great. It could be a little noisy at times, but it kept the room nice and cool.

Noise: Yes, the hotel is directly opposite the Costa Adeje bus station. The downside is that you can hear the reversing beepers from the buses, particularly late at night and again early in the morning. This didn't bother us too much, but it is worth knowing if you're a very light sleeper. The upside is that the bus station is incredibly convenient if you want to get around Tenerife without hiring a car.

Location: We thought the location was excellent. You're pretty much between Costa Adeje and Playa de las Américas, so you can easily walk to both. The beach is around a 3-minute walk away, and there is also a small SPAR supermarket very close by. We found it a great base for exploring the coast and getting around without a car.

Room facilities: The bed was comfortable, the balcony was really nice, and the kitchenette was useful. The TV was good, although there wasn't any way to stream from your phone, which would have been a nice addition.

Breakfast: Breakfast was fine — pretty much what you'd expect from a hotel at this price point. There was enough choice and we had no complaints.

Pool and rooftop: The pool area is nice enough and was always clean. We never struggled to find a sunbed, and the area was generally quite relaxed. The rooftop sunbathing area was actually a highlight for us, especially as we had a top-floor room so it was particularly convenient. It had a great atmosphere and was a lovely place to relax in the sun. It was closed for one of the days during our stay, which was a shame.

One disappointment was that the hot tub was closed for our entire stay. This is one of the facilities advertised as part of the hotel, so it was disappointing not to be able to use it.

There is evening entertainment with singers, which was nice and doesn't go on particularly late. It is quite loud while it's on, but as a young couple we were often out in the evenings anyway, and by the time we went to bed it had finished.

Overall, if you can get a good deal, I would recommend it. For us it was one of the cheapest options we found in the area, and at £80 a night including breakfast for two, we thought it represented very good value.

I'd describe it as a good-value base with some nice amenities, rather than a resort where you can spend your entire holiday without needing to leave. The location is excellent for getting out and exploring Tenerife, and the pool, rooftop and kitchenette give you plenty of facilities for a relaxing day, but if you're looking for a big resort with lots of facilities, restaurants and activities on site, this probably isn't the place.

Yes, it probably won't be the best 4-star hotel you've ever stayed in, and there are a few things that could be improved, but if you go in expecting cheap and cheerful rather than luxury, I think you'll be very happy with it.
