Jardines de Nivaria

I would like to give our description of how we rated the Jardines De Nivaria hotel in the resort of Costa Adege. The hotel lived up to a 5-star resort, the location was ideal for local bars beaches shops and nightlife outside the hotel, the access door onto Promenade was very easy to use with your room card and cut out a lot of legwork. We went bed and breakfast and the breakfast was the best we have had in our many years of holidays and cruises too numerous to mention, we never ate in due to the rather pompous idea in this day and age that gentlemen had to wear long trousers, but the eating establishments outside had excellent choice of good food at reasonable prices, with all types of food on offer to suit even the most select palates. The rooms were spacious and well laid out, the pools and Jacuzzis were massive the freshwater pool was a little cooler but better for swimming you didn’t get floating older guests aimlessly paddling about. Has regards the pools they were very well used but we found zero accessible toilets suitable for swimmers anywhere near any of the pools, and we saw no one go back to there rooms or the distant toilets in the main buildings prior to entering the large saltwater pool. So, I would suggest during the regular pool testing routines, to attempt to find out the actual urine concentrations especially in the salt water heated pool. Desperate need to consider a few toilets in the pool areas where wet guests can safely enter. The staff by and large were excellent, the lady who helped out with the pool towels was always on the go in the pool area from light o clock until after dark o clock and always had smiles on her face, the only staff we would have issues with were some of the waiters in the entertainment area, seemed to concentrate on the larger groups presumably due to average larger tips. The entertainment was rather mediocre for younger clientele i.e. fifties and sixties and what was on did not last very long, you would be better going out to Waxie Oshay’s for some lively music. On the first day I cocked up with the safe but reception staff soon brought in an expert from outside who fixed the massive thing and showed me the error of my ways, likewise the fridge was not working and the maintenance guy just changed it for a brand new one in 10 minutes, fine job. The prices for drinks are about 50% more than you pay outside, and much smaller measures than most of the local bars and restaurants, You must pay more in posh hotels, but real life is just outside the gate if you want more realistic prices for the same product. Nice holiday but a bit on the expensive side

Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings, close to beach. Nice and quiet area and also close to good shopping centers. Plenty of places to eat nearby but we only ate in the hotel as the food was so delicious!

definitely worth booking a pool view or sea view room. Buffet service at breakfast and evening meal provides wide choice, and the main free form pool very warm and towel service change welcome. We have already booked our next visit for June 2027
