Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. Serenna the animation entertainer was absolutely fantastic we enjoyed the Yoga also Aqua aerobics not forgetting the water polo my grandsons and grown ups enjoyed it, a very much. Rooms were cleaned daily we couldnβt fault anything, a lovely quiet relaxing resort
We came on the 28th of August 2026 late nigh in the Atlantic holiday hotel. The receptionist was pretty helpful with all the information what we needed. He even helped us find a place to eat and have a quick drink. The hotel facilities were brilliant for us and the cleanliness is good. No air-conditioning but not needed either. The hotel is on the edge of the Atlantic ocean and the sunset is beautiful to watch. Very close to shops and restaurants. Only a 30 minute bus ride you find an amazing beach. Would I come back? Definitely. We bought a package holiday so I can't really tell about prices.. it was a brilliant week away from windy rainy England
This is a awesome small hotel, the staff Ester,David Fernando etc where amazing π π. It is a quiet place but great it you like peace and quiet. It was everything we needed. Thank you.
Very accommodating and helpful staff
I really donβt understand the bad reviews. We are here on our last day and have absolutely loved it here. We coped fine with just fans and the windows open, itβs lovely to listen to the sea at night, you get a nice breeze. We were self catering so I cannot comment on the food, but what I did see looked very good. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful, there were many people with disabilities staying and the staff always went out their way to help them. All of the public areas were clean, inviting and tastefully decorated in the Scandi style. We had a sea view one bed apartment, wonderful views, and vey spacious, with lots of wardrobe space. The rooms and bathrooms are probably due for a bit of a touch up, but it seems this is happening room by room. It didnβt affect our stay, the rooms were cleaned daily. We had no problem getting a sun lounger no matter what time of the day. We would definitely return to this hotel. If you read about the hotel its roots are firmly in the Danish ethos of nature and sustainability ( hence no air con and chlorine free pool). The hotel also supports Folkeferrie ensuring disadvantaged families get to spend quality time together on holiday. π₯° So for those who complain so much, just remember how privileged you are to take holidays!! In terms of the area we loved the quiet and relaxed nature, no mobility scooters on hire and racing along pavements!! No strips of bars and British style pubs!! There are a few shops, and some good quality restaurants. If you want all singing dancing nightlife then this is not the place for you. We took a walk over to The Hardrock hotel which is 15mins away over the coastal path. The bar on the 16th floor is a great vantage point for watching the sunset with a cocktail. There is also a local bus to go to other areas. The beach is not dirty!! It black Volcanic sand. There is a lifeguard positioned each day. Most of the people are local families, they are nice and friendly. We enjoyed jumping off the pier into the water and swimming in the sea. You can also book a courtesy room for free if you are on a late flight. My only comment would be to put some water in the fridge for arrival, especially if itβs a late one. Thank you to all the staff
