Iberostar Selection Jardin del Sol Suites

Just returned from a nine night stay at this amazing hotel. This was our fourth stay over four years. We stayed in a standard room with sea view. Half board. We booked with Jet2.
I can’t fault anything with our holiday. The hotel, the food and the staff are brilliant. The choice and selection of food at breakfast and dinner was amazing. Many of the staff who work at the hotel have been working here for quite a few years. It was lovely that they recognised us from our previous holidays. As others have mentioned, there’s a problem with people reserving sun loungers. But management seemed to be doing something about it. It didn’t affect us that much, as we always managed to find a couple of lougers and a parasol no matter what time of the day we ventured to the pool area. Drinks at the hotel are quite a good price. Probably the same as the bars nearby. If you like cocktails try a bar called Sip-Haus. It’s not far from the hotel. Across the road from the taxi rank. Great cocktails and owners. I would like to mention some of the staff who stood out to us. Carmen, Philip and Sherif on reception, plus the other receptionists who’s names I have forgotten! Sorry! Bar staff and restaurant staff, Diego and his sister Litzy, Juanma, Ivan, Abdu, Ana, Fernando, Montse, Justo, Antana, Maria on the omelettes. The lovely Brazilian lady Neida who showed us to our table most days. Special thanks to all of the staff who worked in the restaurant. All super friendly and helpful with any questions that we had regarding the food. The cleaners work hard and do a great job. If you are looking for a lovely hotel in the Costa de la calma area of Santa Ponça, look no further. I highly recommend this hotel. Already looking into booking for June next year.

Another fabulous visit to this super hotel Reception and check-in excellent Rooms were as expected - high standard with vast amount of space - very clean and love the beds as are very comfortable The rooms were serviced early and thoroughly every day Lovely that rooms were available early Restaurant and bar area super The majority of the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a special stay The pool area very relaxing although very busy and at times there didn’t appear to be enough sunloungers and parasols ? I love the fact there is no smoking around the sunloungers or on balconies making a very pleasurable experience The filtered water on each corridor is fabulous The food was superb and varied as usual All in all a fabulous holiday

Unfortunately one of our party had an accident in the hotel and cut her arm - I was surprised when they asked about first aid at reception they could only suggest the lifeguard ??? Fortunately there was an A and E nurse staying at the hotel who was amazing and gave advice to see Dr in Santa Ponca who put 6 stitches in the wound (highly recommend the Dr) perhaps this is something that should be looked at ?

My only wish Would be if you could get sunloungers with cushions as they can be uncomfortable and the outside toilet is best avoided !!

Am returning in September and will definitely be back next year also

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

We’d especially like to thank the restaurant staff, particularly to Montse for their excellent service and warm hospitality.

The food was absolutely 10/10, with plenty of choice and excellent quality throughout our stay.

The views from the hotel were stunning and made the whole experience even more special. The entertainment was also fantastic, with something enjoyable every evening.

Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely return. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable!
