Won’t return not worth the money
Nothing ever cleaned properly it’s disgusting! Not once have we seen anyone cleaning Outdoor area and have said to reception a few times about it
Lovely Stay, But the Final Two Nights Were Very Disappointing
Overall, we had a lovely stay at this hotel. The facilities were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. Up until the final two nights, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
Unfortunately, our experience was let down by excessive noise during the last two nights. There was a couple in a nearby room having a very loud argument, with shouting and screaming that continued for hours. In addition, a group of young teenage girls were playing loud music, shouting, running along the corridors and repeatedly slamming doors late into the night.
At around 1:30am, we had to call reception because the noise had become unbearable. Security came up promptly and asked the couple to keep the noise down, which we appreciated. However, despite this, the disturbance continued into the early hours of the morning, making it very difficult to sleep.
It’s a shame because the hotel itself was very good, and this issue really overshadowed what had otherwise been a great stay. I hope the hotel considers taking a firmer approach to dealing with disruptive guests, especially during the night, so future visitors can enjoy the peaceful stay they expect.
More positives than negatives.
Just stayed for 1 week at this hotel. Santa Ponsa is a lovely resort with everything close at hand. We had a sea view room on the third floor. There were hoards of young Irish teenagers staying in the resort this week, celebrating the end of their exams. They stayed up all night, every night. They weren't badly behaved, just noisy, which made sleeping difficult so a pool view room might have been better. The room itself was nice, though I thought the bed was hard. The room could do with a thorough clean, as when I had to move the bedside cabinet there was fluff and dust behind it. I didn't look under the bed! The bathroom walls are all frosted glass, so putting the light on the bathroom in the night illuminated the whole room and woke my partner up. If we were to go back we would take a motion sensor light for the bathroom. The balcony needs a sun shade as its too hot in the afternoon to sit out there, which is a shame. The buffet breakfast was very nice, the staff were all lovely and helpful. We didn't have any problems securing sun beds by the pool as other people seem to have experienced. Just across the road from the hotel is the beach and a nice beach bar with a good choice of food and drink. We may return to Santa Ponsa one day abd would likely stay at the Casa del mar again.
