Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Spent 7 nights here in August 2026. We loved our holiday here. Wonderful hotel with brilliant staff. Couldn't do enough to help. They even put on an early morning breakfast just for us before our flight home. The rooms are lovely and have plenty of space. There are some lovely restaurants nearby but the food at the hotel was excellent too. The breakfast is great with different things every day. Something for everyone and all fresh and tasty. We would definately go back!
My friends and I stayed for 3 nights (2 in 1 room 3 in another) - I slept on the sofa bed which seemed full of springs but after I settled to one side I slept very well every night! The room is spacious enough for 3 people, the fridge is a great addition and the bathroom is good although a normal closing door is preferred to a sliding door for privacy. Our balcony looked out onto the road but that didn't bother us as we didn't use it. Breakfast is very good but a plant based yoghurt would be good to go with the fruits and nuts etc but I was able to eat a decent breakfast each day. The pool food menu was not great for me but my friends ate there - a short stroll into the town area away from the marina took you to Cocos Deli where I stuffed my face. Rooftop bar is amazing too with great views. The hotel is card only which I had not realised but luckily we all had cards we could use. We ate at Ritzi (lovely Italian), Rude (near Cocos Deli, lovely food and definitely cheaper once you move away from the Marina) and Wellies (DO NOT sit in the courtyard as the insects will get you like they did to all of us as we sat by a tree!) - be prepared to pay higher prices at the waterfront places but after being worried about the cost of Portals Nous it was nowhere near as expensive as I feared. The most money was spent at UM Beach House but even that turned out to be well worth the money. I would definitely return but for some reason the hotel is no longer available next over the summer months on Jet2 or Easyjet......
Been coming here for years, the recent room upgrades are amazing, the roof top bar brilliant.
As a celiac they have recently starting selling Daura Damm gluten free beers ( sadly they don’t stock them in the roof top bar )
Staff are so friendly, I would always recommend this place.
Sometimes have to wait a long time for a lift, despite having a third lift which is reserved for staff.
BUT………. Tomir you need to sort the sun bed situation out, need to be up at 7am to reserve a sun bed, which are all so crammed in…… if you don’t get up early enough forget about a sunbed in the sun, which can stay unused for hours until whomever reserved them decides to use them !!!
Well here goes ! Hotel is nice inside. Walk to Marina is crap. Ugly and untidy. Pool area at hotel is tiny with not enough beds. People grabbing beds at 7am. If you not down before 9am you get left with the beds in the shaded area that doesn’t get sun until 12.30. Beds are far too close to each other , your like sardines in a tin. Fried breakfast choice was poor. Horrible bacon and sausages and lukewarm. As I said it’s nice inside the hotel but we will never go back.
Room 517 - 3 friends staying in a twin room and a double sofa bed in the spacious lounge with sea view. Small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine. Food - amazing choice at breakfast; fruit, cereal, omelettes, sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns, cheese, meats, bread, pastries, etc. Plenty of choice at lunchtime and the portions were large. The only option for water though was to buy a €15 Tomir water bottle for them to fill up whenever. We chose to buy from the Nice Price shop round the corner. We ate up at Altitud, the rooftop terrace. Had a lovely vibe and we were well looked after by Darwin. Pool area - great size pool with separate jacuzzi pool. However, one side of the pool had seven Bali beds (€40 per day) which were unused during our stay. Due to this, the rest of the sun loungers were very close together. The adjacent hotel was very noisy on two of the days but didn’t spoil our holiday. Staff - could not fault them. Every single member of staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient. Great hotel with super staff.
