Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Wonderful holiday with friends to Tomir Portals hotel.
Fantastic stay, great hotel, breakfast is a fantastic array of food, vast selection to choose from.
Relaxed chilled vibe in hotel and staff so friendly & welcoming. Carmen is fantastic on reception.
Shout out to Luca & Uri in the bar and restaurant, so lovely always smiling and so helpful.
Hotel great location, quick cab or 15 min walk to beach and lots of lovely restaurants nearby.
Hotel has a fabulous rooftop bar, but sadly not open a few nights a week, but definitely would recommend.
Only slight issue is you still have problems with sun beds and unless you’re up early it can be quite problem, especially as we were party of six. Otherwise a fabulous hotel & short stay, will be back
Everything was perfect, the location, the facilities, and most importantly Carmen, who helped us with a booking mistake (our fault). She was amazing and literally saved our vacation, making sure we had a great room and a great stay. We loved the breakfast: it was excellent and had a lot of variety, and the restaurant and bar were just as good. All the staff were welcoming and went out of their way for us. The facilities were great and we loved every part of it. We rented a car and reached the city in a 15-minute drive, and you can walk down to the beach and the port, where there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking is easy too, you can park nearby or right at the property. If we're ever in Mallorca again, we'll book here without hesitation.
On arrival, we were greeted so welcoming. The entrance is very modern, clean and spacious. check-in was easy. The hotel facilities were all spotless. The pool plenty big enough with more than enough sunbeds for a June stay although I can see that there would be some capacity issues during higher peak seasons. There were quite a few large group bookings. We didn’t find that this had any impact on our experience. In fact, they gave us great people watching entertainment. The sunbeds were really comfortable and they also have Bali beds which you could hire for €30 a day these were very popular. The breakfast was plentiful and had varying options every day. The egg station was manned daily and they did a great job of keeping up with the demand for all types of eggs. Saturday Cava was available at breakfast , we have not come across this before . A nice touch for those on holiday for celebrations over the weekend . We ordered lunch every day in The pool bar there were lots of options to choose from and the food was of high standard. Unfortunately on our last day our order of calamari had to be sent back twice firstly because it was stone cold on arrival and then it was overcooked and inedible . There were also other tables that were sending food back .We think the kitchen was struggling this day due to how busy it was. Concerning as this was only the end of June. The room was cleaned every day sheets and towels tidied and washed regularly. Our first room we were allocated had a problem with the air-conditioning , rattling all night, and I did not sleep properly for 4 nights. Even with ear plugs and sleeping tablets.I did speak to the front of House team every day but it wasn’t until I informed the Jet2 rep. Then we were given a new room. It was disappointing that my concerns that I was not sleeping were not seriously addressed, I mentioned that I have MS and need my sleep. We found our later that the air con in our original room was fixed with a new engine. The room we were moved to was spacious clean & air con was quiet , had a sofa, coffee machine, large fridge complementary bottle of water on arrival, plenty of space to hang clothes and store suitcases, and a TV that shows BBC , ideal as the football was on . The location of the hotel is close to the bus stop in both directions. A convenient super market a couple of minutes from the hotel that is fair on its pricing. We purchased a Tomir water bottle for 15€ which was handy by the pool to get refills . We would definitely return to this hotel. The staff were pleasant. Exceptional hospitality from Carmen.
Room, pool and amenities great but the bar and restaurant service was appalling. Ordering a drink at the bar took on average 15 minutes despite many staff working behind the bar and the restaurant was even worse! An hour and a half for any food to be delivered and drinks had to be chased up because they were just forgotten about. When the food did arrive it was cold.
Avoid for meals and drinks but a good base for non drinkers.
Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Breakfast was great - different options each morning. Room was nice & clean, beds comfortable. Pool bar drinks on the pricy side but is expected due to the hotel being a 4 star. There is a rooftop bar where the views are amazing. You could purchase a hotel water bottle at €15 and you can get it refilled any time for free. Pool towels were available, no need to bring your own. Quiet location - have to walk a bit to find bars/restaurants. Supermarket just round the corner from the hotel. You can walk down to the marina (Puerto Portals) for lovely scenery but bars/restaurant on the expensive side. A taxi is only €10 to Palmanova and takes around 10 mins.
