Great location next to a gorgeous bay. Bright sunny hotel with a chilled out atmosphere. Adequate rooms - a little on the small side - with nice toiletries in the bathroom. One thing missing was a full length mirror. We find the hotel good value for money as are the drinks prices. Our room was cleaned every day to a very high standard and the hallways are perfumed with a gorgeous scent. It’s a quiet hotel just tucked away on a residential street therefore it’s never noisy. From the moment you walk in you are met with a warm welcome and the good service e continue throughout your stay. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and plan to return in September- it’s like home from home!

Great hotel wonderful staff, choice and quality of breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. Evening meals equally good. Room very comfortable. 2min walk to lovely beach. Pool area very relaxing no loud music and great pool bar and restaurant again with wonderful staff. Will definitely come again.

There are places that simply provide accommodation, and then there are places that understand that hospitality is built on competence, care and genuine human interaction. Tacande Portals is firmly in the latter category.

From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were consistently warm, professional and attentive, creating an atmosphere that made it easy to relax from day one. The hotel itself is immaculate, with every area maintained to a very high standard. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels were provided without fail, and the attention to detail never went unnoticed.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast was excellent. There was a wide selection of fresh, high-quality food every morning, with plenty of choice to suit everyone. It’s exactly the kind of start to the day you’d hope for while on holiday.

The location is one of the hotel’s greatest strengths. It’s perfectly positioned in a peaceful area, yet only a 10-minute walk from the stunning Puerto Portals marina. Being able to stroll to the marina each evening to enjoy the incredible restaurants, cafés, luxury yachts and atmosphere without needing a taxi was a real highlight of our holiday. The beach is also within easy walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the area while still feeling like a quiet retreat away from the crowds.

The pool area is spotless, the sunbeds are comfortable, and the boutique feel of the hotel creates a calm and relaxing environment that makes it easy to switch off.

The only minor criticism would be that the walls between rooms seem quite thin. We could hear our neighbours talking loudly in the early hours of the morning. However, once I mentioned this to reception, the staff dealt with the issue quickly, professionally and without any fuss. In many ways, how a hotel responds to a problem tells you more than whether the problem existed in the first place, and Tacande handled it exceptionally well.

Overall, this was an outstanding stay. The professionalism of the staff, the immaculate cleanliness, the excellent breakfast, the superb location within easy walking distance of Puerto Portals, and the peaceful atmosphere combined to create one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences we’ve had. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would happily recommend Tacande Portals to anyone visiting Mallorca.
