This attractive hotel, surrounded by a pine forest, is located near the Balneario 4 exit, on the road from Playa de Palma to El Arenal, in a peaceful side street. It is approximately 300 metres from the kilometre-long fine sand beach and the centre is also within 1km. Links to the public transport network lie 200 metres away and offer a convenient service in order to reach Palma. This fully air-conditioned beach hotel is nestled in a substantially large, beautiful garden. The hotel has a wide array of facilities, including WiFi access and bicycle hire services. Younger guests can enjoy themselves on the playground. The spacious rooms are en suite and wholly equipped with modern amenities. This establishment provides guests with an outdoor pool with a separate children's paddling area, a pool bar and a sun terrace with parasols and sun loungers.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A travel manager booked my wife and I into this hotel for three nights as part of a package. We didn't vet the hotel and location, our fault, but all other issues were on this hotel. This is not a safe place to walk at night. While the food is plentiful, it was inedible. A budget hotel for German pensioners as others have mentioned. A/C didn't work, safe in room required a key and 2euro per day with 15 euro key deposit, cash only no credit card or billed to room. Tried to bring coffee to the room from breakfast and was told that couldn't be done. But the closer for us was the rude waiter who scolded me for reclining on a sofa in an outdoor area!! We were the only people in this area at the time. We checked out the next day, didn't even request a credit for the remaining 2 nights. We booked ourselves into a beautiful boutique hotel in the Old Town, with a price not much more than the Timor. Staff indifferent.
Loved the hotel. The rooms are good, the reception team good. The bar team good. The restaurant sadly is very poor. The staff behind the buffet counter, especially a lady with glasses cooking the bacon and sausages were incredibly rude which is such a shame. There are also two front of house managers. The first one, the taller of the two, was again horrible. The second was far better. It’s a shame because this would have scored 5 if it wasn’t for the few members of staff who treated the guests badly.
Perfect hotel for our family beach holiday. Pros: Close to beach and bus station (A2, 25, 35) , staff very attentive and friendly, clean, good selection of food (half-board), perfect for families, good value for money, stunning sea view. Cons: nothing
What a lovely hotel and such lovely staff, especially Michael and Angie from the restaurant. We have just got back from a week at Hotel Timor, would definitely recommend! Lots of choice of food, the freshly made omelettes, fillings of your choice was a popular choice from ourselves., lots of delicious desserts also. Felt very welcoming. Short walk to the beach and many restaurants/bars, a little park if you're have little ones. Indoor pool was brilliant, we took our daughter each morning and she loved it. Beautiful view of the sea and harbour, which we had the privilege of seeing from our room and balcony. Housekeeper Anna was another great staff member, very happy and polite. Couldn't fault anything.
Friendly service. Good food. Standard rooms. Good location but could be better. More English would be good. Had a good time
