Beautiful, spotless hotel but let down by food temperature and local area
This is our 4th stay in two years: The Positives:The hotel itself is lovely and absolutely spotless. The property is beautifully maintained, and the majority of the staff are excellent, warm, and professional. Inside, it really does feel like a calm oasis. Areas for Improvement:Unfortunately, the dining experience could have been better as the food was often lukewarm. When I mentioned this to the maître d’, I was disappointed to be told to pass the feedback to the cooks myself, rather than having them address it for me. The Location:Additionally, the surrounding resort area has changed and feels like it has gone downhill a bit. There are a lot of street vendors and hustlers outside, which can make walking around the local area feel a bit off-putting if you are looking for a relaxed vibe. Verdict:A great hotel with fantastic cleanliness and lovely staff, but the restaurant service and the hassle in the local area mean it wasn't quite the perfect stay.

A tranquil hotel in a busy area
We had a weeks vacation in this hotel over the last week of May. It was a really nice hotel, and the staff were very friendly. It has quite a relaxed vibe for what is otherwise quite a very hectic area. The bar is a good price for a few drinks and the breakfast has a lot of variety. We didnt have the evening food at the hotel, instead eating at the strip, but ate at the hotel bar a couple of lunchtimes, both times the food was reasonably good.
We'd definitely consider staying here or at other Hipotels in the future.
Exceptional from start to finish
We stayed at Hipotels Gran Playa de Palma for 1 week in June. The hotel and staff were exceptional from checking in to checking out. Firstly, the room was modern, spacious, well equipped and cleaned daily. The pool area was clean, and it was easy to get a sun bed at any point of the day! We enjoyed the fact that there were two separate pools and pool towels were provided. We ate at the breakfast buffet and the pool bar both of which had a variety of options, and the food was tasty. We had a late flight but check out was made easier by having the luggage room and we were able to get ready in the spa, which had fantastic facilities. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year!
Lovely family holiday
This is a very lovely hotel with wonderful facilities, two beautiful outside swimming pools and wonderful surroundings. The chair beds around the pool are loved and the amenities are second to none. The hotel is brand new and everything is spotless. The staff are polite and professional which always helps and the place is immaculately kept.
