Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a great time. All staff were nice. Entertainment staff were great but not pushy, our 15 year old son loved the daily water polo. Mainly non- British guests but they were friendly. Pool was good & no issues with sun beds. Location is great close to a beautiful beach - sea was warm & lots of fish to find! We stayed all inclusive and we found plenty of options for breakfast & lunch, and drink choices were good. We chose to eat out most nights as our preference & there are some lovely restaurants near by but they are pricy in the area. We took the local bus for 3 euro return to Alcúdia old town which was lovely for an evening meal. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was in a separate but close building to main hotel. We found the room comfortable & had what we needed. We had an issue with the fridge so let reception know and within the hour it was sorted! All in all a great stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at World of Hyatt at AluaSun Continental Park. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options every day. We also loved the atmosphere around the pool and the pool bar with its drinks.
We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was available from 6:00 a.m. on the day of departure, which made our early flight much more convenient.
I have just got back from my holiday at the Alua sun. Please don’t read the negative reviews couldn’t rate this hotel enough. Location wise amazing right near the beach couldn’t ask for more.
The hotel isn’t 5 star but the staff are. The hotel could do with a lick of paint but so can my flat. For me the staff make the hotel. To mention a few names. Linda you are amazing so helpful and great at your job thank you. You work very hard. Toni we will miss you at the water polo Arlo loved you.
Laura so kind to me thank you. The staff are all amazing work so hard and make the experience. Reception staff are great sorry didn’t get the names. The nice man on the desk more in the evenings you are great.
Along with the fantastic entertainment every evening so good really great program.
For me the food was fantastic I have been on cruises and travelled loads for me the food was better at the hotel. Great options and choices.
We went for a week in August it’s not cheap but it’s school holidays so busy. Another thing I loved about the hotel was there was a real mix of clients not from the uk but all over Europe and all very friendly so it gave a different feel to it was just English holiday makers.
The atmosphere was great. The hotel Doesn’t claim to be 5 star so please remember that. Clean rooms every day for me the hotel ran very effectively.
I’ve been to Mallorca before it’s great and loved Playa del Muro consider this hotel you won’t be disappointed we had a fantastic holiday. Emma and Arlo from the UK 🇬🇧 xxxx
Location- close to the beach - quickest access is from the side gate however the Burger King as you go out of this gate and the dirty gutters of the road side spoil your opinion of what is a clean hotel. Not their problem but you’d think they’d raise it with the Alcúdia municipality. Same with the drain smell close by - not their fault but it does annoy you on the short walk to the beach. Atmosphere - friendly staff. Bar atmosphere zero. If you are half board and you like to stay round the pool you’ll be depressed. No lovely snack bar to purchase food from and bar staff that watch the all inclusive machines like hawks and as a result don’t offer a welcoming - hi there what can I get you service when you want to order a drink. So we steered clear and only went to the beach - staff at the beach bar Isabella are amazing and the lunch food is brilliant. Rooms are great - really clean beds comfy good setup for a couple in a room. Can’t fault it apart from the air con could be a little cooler. Food - some cost cutting meant that some small pleasures left you feeling like you’re meal was less satisfactory - some mornings the pastries were stale or the butter was cheap like margarine or the juice was watery or there was no soft bread. Some evenings there were no crackers for cheese or lardy butter again or no decent meat choice for a fussy meat eater. However I did trust the food to be clean and we never came away hungry. Just average. The chefs cooking the eggs and meat were really good and really helpful. Noise - quiet hotel Lighting in hallway was so bright that shone through gaps in the door into the room. We asked for the sensor to be sorted they tried but it didn’t cure the problem.
Really nice hotel very nice feel about the place with plenty of free sunbeds all days we stayed .would recommend .friendly bar staff and staff in general
