second visit and very good hotel
This is the second time we have been to Alta Sun Continental Park and it is just as good as the first time, Great food, Very Clean hotel, Happy staff, Nice Pool, Beach just across the road, Lots of local shops, Lifts to floors, Disabled access, A great all round hotel holiday makers were mixed with German, English, Spanish, Some Scandi and polish so a big melting pot for all

Pleasant vacation
We were particularly impressed with the food. Breakfast was varied every day and offered a good selection of cheese, salami, ham, fish, grilled chicken, as well as boiled and fried eggs. There were also various hot dishes that changed daily.
Lunch and dinner also offered a wide and varied selection. For lunch, there were different pasta dishes as well as plain pasta, with a choice of three different sauces. There was also soup with bread or croutons, as well as various freshly prepared dishes with vegetables, fish or meat and different sauces.
Dinner also included various hot dishes every day. Fish, as well as chicken and pork, were available daily. On certain days, there was also turkey, either roasted or marinated, grilled beef, or beef prepared in another style. On one evening, there was even grilled salmon.
The homemade pizza was also very tasty. It was offered daily with a variety of toppings.
There was also a good selection of fresh vegetables, allowing guests to prepare their own salads, including tomatoes, cucumbers, red cabbage and onions. Green olives and various pickled side dishes were also available in abundance.
The dessert selection mainly consisted of different cakes and cream desserts, jelly, fresh fruit and ice cream.
The beach is very close to the hotel, and numerous shops are also within easy walking distance.
In my opinion, the pool is a little small for the number of guests. However, it was never overcrowded during our entire stay, so we did not consider this to be a major problem.
The bar offers a good selection of drinks and cocktails.
The cleanliness of the public areas was also very good. The area around the pool was cleaned and washed every day, so everything looked well maintained and clean.
We would especially like to highlight the staff. All the employees were exceptionally friendly, polite and professional. We were always treated very kindly and respectfully at reception as well. We experienced no problems at all during our entire stay.
The animation team was very friendly, enthusiastic and full of energy. Various events were organized every evening, including musical evenings, performances by dancers, and activities in which guests could participate, such as quiz shows and bingo. The entertainment was enjoyable without being intrusive.
During our stay, there were several families with young children, as well as couples without children and older guests at the hotel. This created a pleasant and varied atmosphere. Our impression was that the hotel is well suited to different age groups, as well as to both families and couples.
Our only criticism concerns the cleaning of the rooms. At first glance, the rooms appeared clean; however, there was quite a lot of dust on the floor, which we only noticed on our socks. The rooms were cleaned daily, and towels and bed linen were changed upon request, but overall, the cleaning could have been a little more thorough.
Apart from that, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Paradise in Platja de muro
We had a very good stay at AluaSun Continental Park in Platja de Muro.
We travelled as a large family group with both adults, teenagers and a 4-year-old, and the hotel worked very well for all of us. The location is excellent, with the beach only a short walk away and easy access to shops, buses and activities around Alcúdia and Platja de Muro.
We stayed on All Inclusive, which made the holiday much easier with a big group. There was a good selection of food and drinks throughout the day, and it was especially convenient when travelling with children.
The hotel was a great base for our holiday, whether we were spending the day by the pool, going to the beach, visiting Alcúdia or heading out for activities.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider staying at AluaSun Continental Park again when returning to Mallorca. A very good choice for families and larger groups.
Perfect hotel!
This hotel is amazing, I was blown away with the food! Coming from a chef, the food was top quality, and beautifully presented at every meal! Location is great, 4 min walk to beach, great activities all day for adults and children. Comfortable beds, air con lovely. Cant fault this hotel at all, will be returning for sure.
Too noisy, but good for families with kids
The 2 of us stayed for 2 weeks, the last week of August and the first week of Sept. Location of this hotel is amazing, it's close to beach, the rent a cars are behind a corner, ATM is basically within the hotel and bus stop is close. Basically, the best thing about this hotel is location. The view from our room toward the mountain was absolutely magnificent! The hotel is overall clean, but the wall of our room was stained, that could have been painted in 2 min instead it's a really ugly brown smudge that really worsens the feeling of cleanliness, but we got used to it after a while. It's visible that some utilities are quite old and rusty, especially in the bathroom.
The main issues we had were making us regret booking that hotels are:

No sound or light isolation whatsoever - the rooms' door are very heavy and the weight just pulls them towards the wall and unless you put a lot of effort to control the impact, they will hit the door frame extremely loudly. When I said loudly, I really mean it. Sometimes you could also feel the vibrations as if the whole room is shaking. The first day we arrived we really needed at least an hour of sleep as we traveled overnight, but it was impossible to fall asleep due to people shutting the door every 5min. We bought earplugs but it did not help. It was even worse in the night, as people would arrive late in the night, the light from the hall would light the whole room because there is at least 1 inch of space all around the door. It was truly difficult to get some rest. After a while, we ended up sleeping with pillows on our heads.

Air-con too strong - it was great that you could manually adjust the temperature, but the direction of blowing was towards head when lying in the bed, so both of us got cold the first 2 days until my partner managed to climb a chair and direct very dusty air-con opening towards the ceiling. Nevertheless, it would still blow pretty hard even on a low setting so we re positioned direction of our bodies when sleeping, and placed heads where the feet usually go.

The smell - Not sure if this is something characteristic to the area or was waste emptied, but the smell of rotten eggs was so intense on a daily basis around 11pm, it was hard to breath. If I knew this was the case, I wouldn't have come in the area as together with heat, it would make me want to puke on occasion. It also smelled like that at the reception almost all the time.

The ants - there was a number of ants in the room and bathroom at all times. I wasn't too bothered by them as they would leave us alone, but I read a bit and apparently it's the type that eats electrical wiring and building structure, so I recommend hotel to do something about it.
The deserts were repetitive - the food was great in my opinion, lots of choice and not only English food which I was fearing it will be, but a lots of sea-food and other choices. Some type of paella was served every single day, which was delicious. The deserts were not a big issue but deserts would disappoint as after 3 days you'd try all there is. More variety throughout the week would be nice.
The staff was amazing the first week, from chefs to waiters, but I think they changed at the end of the week. The first week the waiters were flying! They would remove dirty plates immediately, kept replacing with new cutlery etc, they seemed to get along and work as a real team. It was pleasure watching them work and have fun at the same time, they worked like a perfectly-oiled machine! However, as the second week came, the service in the restaurant got much worse - it happened that we couldn't find a ready table due to all of them being full of dirty plates, the food would be left of the floor and occasionally the food would be removed from hot plates even though it was still a lunch-time. A very visible change comparing to the first week.
Overall, okay stay, if I disregard the noise, which was really making rest impossible.
