Opened in 1997 and refurbished in 2008, the family-friendly Prinsotel La Dorada enjoys an excellent location in the heart of the Platja de Muro area, only 150 metres away from the fine sandy beach going on almost endlessly and the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and just next to the beautiful S'Albufera Natural Reserve, which can be visited for free. Puerto de Alcúdia and Can Picafort are 5 and 6 km away, respectively, and can be easily reached by a regular bus connection. The aparthotel is constructed around a wonderful pool and garden landscape with 1,500 m2 of pool surface including children's pools. Younger guests will love the mini-club or the playground, while the parents get pampered and relax in the fantastic spa area. Sports facilities such as mini-golf, cycling or windsurfing are available. This hotel is perfect for a family holiday under the Mediterranean sun.

The Service was very good and the staff was very kind.
A very lovely family hotel
We had a lovely time at this beautiful hotel. Our room was modern, clean, extremely spacious and comfortable. We overlooked the nature reserve which was home to flamingos! The communal areas and pools are all lovely and well cared for. Plenty of sun loungers and the trees provided perfect shade. The food was excellent, we couldn’t fault the selection. All staff worked so hard to make our stay relaxing, we especially found Luis at the pool bar really lovely. The beach is great. We got a car really easily and explored places like Port de Pollença & Cala Anguila, beautiful. This hotel is excellent for families and great value for money. We would definitely recommend.
Great resort and fantastic location
It was our very first time in Playa de Muro, and we were really satisfied with this resort! The location is extremely close to the beach (about a 1-minute walk—just cross the avenue and you can feel the immensity of this stunning sea). The resort itself is great to experience, as everything was designed to keep you entertained (4 restaurants and 2 snack bars during the day, a kids' club, an outdoor play area, and a huge swimming pool with several sections, including one dedicated to children). The room was okay—renovated and functional. It was not a stunning room, but it was perfectly fine for what we needed. We would like to warmly thank our two waitresses, Gaby and Joana, at the Grill restaurant. They went above and beyond and were so sweet to us. We did not have reservations for dinner, yet they arranged a table for us (2 adults and our son, Marceau). Keep in mind that the restaurant was already fully booked for our entire 5-night stay from the day we arrived. Gaby and Joana are two absolute stars—always smiling, so kind, and professional. Joana even gave us a few spots to visit nearby (Artà was one of her favorite recommendations, and she was so right!). Gaby really pays attention to details and tries to help at all times. She advised me to try the beef kebab, and I was totally impressed with it (it was a specific type of beef, but I can’t remember from where). The chef is also incredible—very humble and so talented. He cooks on an authentic charcoal barbecue. It’s not easy to keep an eye on how every piece of meat is cooked in a full restaurant, but he got it just right! Thank you to the whole team, because you were a big part of why we gave this review a top score. We also have to mention that the breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety.
If I could only give one advise as a guy working in the same industry (5* stars Hotel) - I would recommend to place beach Canvas bag and beach umbrella inside every room to avoid the tourists over priced shop around.

Grill restaurant
Very very nice grill restaurant thx to the lovely waitresses and the nice cook!
Great young family hotel.
Excellent hotel with very welcoming staff! Carolina in guest hospitality and David in the pool bar restaurant are especially excellent. Hotel is very accommodating for families especially young families. Facilities and rooms are very modern and clean. Food is excellent and you have choice of different restaurants. The location is very close to the beach 5 min walk but not frontline. Entertainment is good but it’s very quiet afterwards with the young family clientele. The location is between can picafort and Alcudia so you do have to travel to get that town atmosphere which is difficult given you cannot get a taxi but bus services are good. I would highly recommend for families with young kids.
