Prinsotel La Dorada

We had a great experience with wonderful staff in a comfortable, very relaxing hotel. The facilities, restaurants, pools and spa are absolutely recommendable. We would like to emphasize the work of Marcos on the breakfast terrace, he is always super friendly and allows you to have a great start into the morning. Same as Abdu, who is very helpful and extremely nice. We would also like to mention Carolina and Marissa who made sure our stay was as pleasant as possible and they really go the extra mile to make everybody feel welcome. Overall we had a fantastic time and will surely come back again!

9 nights as family of 4 staying club level with outdoor pool on B&B basis. Enjoyed our room and the outdoor area making for a more relaxed holiday as we had our own outdoor furniture and could just walk to the main pool without having to worry about sunbeds. Club level was very good and we enjoyed the Winners for breakfast which was more relaxed from the busy main buffet at breakfast which whilst the food was good the ambience was just too crazy at peak time. We had lunch at the main snack bar a couple of times and also had a snack at the Prinsotel truck, supermarket onsite was well stocked, good value and ran by a very friendly team member.

Main pool was nice although for teens I would say the hotel is more geared to younger children which again having the 2 bedroomed outdoor pool room made a difference. Gym was excellent with new equipment. Hotel was clean and modern. We also had access to the snack bar for club level each day for fruit and small snacks.

Location was good but for getting to Alcudia port and the old town you need a bus or taxi. There are several very good places to eat within 20 mins walk, we liked Los Patos, The Black Pig and the Figueret Restaurant in particular, we also had nice meals in the port and the old town which is lovely.

5 min walk across the road to the Playa De Muro beach which you can then walk all the way to Acludia if you want to and clear blue water. Local supermarkets, trip bookings and bus stop all outside hotel. Nature reserve also nearby for morning walk.

Many friendly staff all around the hotel, special mention to Carolina in Guest Services who addressed our requests/issues quickly, we appreciated this and you did a great job each time and in an understandable way, thank you again! Slight issue on morning of check-out with very limited access/picked over section at breakfast due to 7am pickup before the main buffet opened at 8am which is something that could be improved which also had other guests complaining.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the Prinsotel having visited the area in previous years in different parts of Playa De Muro and Alcudia. I would say overall it leans more towards younger children rather than teens (ours are 12 and 15) but for what we wanted it was still a very nice break.
