Prinsotel La Dorada

We very much enjoyed our holiday at Prinsotel La Dorada. It has lovely,well maintained gardens which make it different from other hotels.It is near to the excellent sandy Playa de Muro beach. All the staff made us feel very welcome at all times.They were always very cheerful, helpful and accommodating. A very special mention to the great reception team led by Marisa.Plus a thankyou to Danny,the manager,who always made time to ask if there was anything that we needed. Carolina in the Club area and Selene in the Spa were very helpful and knowledgeable with information on local places to visit and things to do. A visit to the nearby historic town of Alcúdia is recommended.

Dear Prinsotel La Dorada, Hello Daniel!

My family and I were recently guests at your hotel.

We were very impressed, my children in particular (aged 4 and 2) had a brilliant time at the pools, the playgrounds and the daily children’s entertainment in the evenings.

As I work in the hospitality industry in Tyrol myself, I wanted to provide you with some objective feedback.

The location was very relaxing for us, with good bus links to Alcudia (both the harbour and the old town), plenty of shopping opportunities for my three ladies, and, most importantly, not far from the beach.

I thought the food was sensational. The buffet offered an incredible variety and was of a high standard. The daily changes to the different themes were almost perfect. Our favourite was Nacho Night with the nacho cheese fountain and the various dips.

I’d also like to mention Laura from the fish plancha station, who always had a friendly smile for all the guests and answered any questions very competently. The other chefs were in their element (doing a very good job), though rather taciturn – but in that respect they’re not much different from Austrian chefs (if you know what I mean).

The service was very open and friendly, and not intrusive or incompetent.

By far the best member of staff in the restaurant was your employee Enzo. Very friendly, helpful, good-humoured and professional. Best regards from me.

Also worth mentioning were:

Patrizia (who stood out for her hard work), Mohammed (a very friendly person who did a great job of entertaining the children – not just mine – a huge compliment), Marcos (experienced in his field), Tatiana (always with a fantastic smile at the restaurant reception), Mario, Guildo, Fatima and, of course, David (always up for a bit of small talk).

At reception, special mention must go to Hilde and Ruben, who assisted us very professionally.

As far as I know, Blanca was in charge of our room. The cleaning service was spot on and she was always very friendly whenever we met her – many thanks again.

As for the children’s entertainment, Sandra, Anna and Johanna deserve a huge round of applause. With so many children every day, they were always in high spirits and ready to party – well done, keep it up. You must definitely keep these ladies on, our children practically idolised them.

On our last evening, we had dinner at your barbecue restaurant. Joana and Gaby deserve a special mention there. Those ladies do a very professional job.

In the supermarket, Carolina is a very friendly person who’s also great with children.

Then there was Carolina from Guest Services, who gave excellent advice on various matters, she’s an open-minded and helpful lady.

Last but not least, I’d like to mention my namesake Daniel (the hotel manager), who stepped in wherever there was a problem, for example with the coffee service at breakfast. He was also always on hand to answer any questions. A brilliant talent who has found his calling – many thanks to him, and best wishes.

Wow, that’s what I call a review! My family and I would like to thank the whole team once again for the absolutely brilliant holiday we were able to spend with you – perhaps we’ll be able to do it all again one day. Apologies if I’ve forgotten anyone.

I could write so much more, but that would go beyond the scope of this message (hahaha).
