This attractive holiday complex is located in the north of Mallorca, between the white sand dunes and approximately 3 km from the centre of Ca'n Picafort and approximately 6 km from Puerto de Alcudia. There are a profusion of wonderful bars, restaurants and shopping facilities in the area surrounding the hotel and there is an excellent golf course roughly 8 km away.
Built in 1987 and renovated in the year 2000, this air-conditioned hotel offers a total of 598 apartments with 2,200 bedrooms spread over 4 floors. The complex is surrounded by 5,000m² of beautiful gardens. Additional facilities include a TV room, a bar, a pub, a newspaper stand, a supermarket and a full air-conditioned non-smoking restaurant. Guests may also make use of the hotel's room service facility.
The comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, a kitchenette, a minibar, a fridge, central heating and a safe.
Guests may make use of the swimming pool and solarium. Fitness enthusiasts may take advantage of the tennis, basketball, beach volleyball (fee payable), minigolf and table tennis facilities. It is also possible to pay a visit to the dive school (extra charge applies), go horse riding, hire out bikes (additional fee payable) or take part in the entertainment programme.
Guests may serve themselves at the breakfast buffet. Extensive buffets offering both hot and cold dishes are offered in this hotel. There is a daily cooking demonstration and a gala dinner takes place once a week (guests are requested to dress appropriately when dining in the restaurant).
First holiday with our 4 older kids and two grandchildren ages 2 and 1. TUI recommended Mallorca and this hotel and we were not let down. The hotel location is right on the beach and all of the facilities within the hotel were fantastic for families likes ours and we had a fantastic week with brilliant weather and made some magical memories for us as a family with our 2 grandkids. Rooms were a good size and air con worked a treat! Lots of activities in the day and the entertainment area in the evenings was a great place to spend an hour or so. If you’re a runner there is a great woodland area with a path just down from the hotel and takes you a few KM and onto the beach, the sunrises are stunning. What we didn’t fully appreciate was booking self catering was not going to be the best option with the hotel where it is, the price of everything in the supermarkets was very expensive and the hotel is not in Alcudia (although the hotel name would suggest otherwise) so we would be paying for taxis as well as food. We decided on day 1 to upgrade to half board and that was perfect, the food, albeit it very similar each day was great. The main restaurant is busy but at back of the hotel by the beach is a smaller, quieter one which was great for us as a party of 10. The other watch item was local tax charge pp per night which for us was another £160, the hotel kept our passports on check in and when i went to get them later that’s when they said i have to pay the taxes first. last bit to be aware if is on the beach which is great but it has the build up of something called posidonia which when you read up is critical to preserve the environment around the island and every morning they clean up the beach, an amazing bit of nature but might put a few off going into the water which was warmer than the pool! We wanted to make this first trip abroad with our grandchildren and our own kids very special and full of wonderful memories for us all and we did that.
My stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Unfortunately, what we were told and promised before making the payment did not match reality. After arriving, we discovered a huge difference between what was advertised and what we actually experienced.
The hotel was very dirty, and there was a strong and unpleasant sewage smell in both the rooms and the hotel areas, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable. The standard of the hotel did not meet our expectations at all, and we were very disappointed.
In addition, the behavior of some of the staff was unacceptable. We experienced a lack of respect and professionalism, and we did not feel that our problems or complaints were taken seriously. Instead of trying to help and find solutions, we received a cold and unhelpful response.
Regarding the manager, he was one of the biggest disappointments during our entire stay. He showed no real interest in listening to our concerns or trying to solve the problems. His way of dealing with guests was far from the professional attitude expected from a hotel manager.
Based on my personal experience, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for cleanliness, comfort, and good service. I hope the management reviews the level of cleanliness, the quality of service, and the way guests are treated, because the difference between what was promised before booking and the reality was extremely large.
This hotel is not a 4star as tui state. Smell of sewage in night time entertainment area all the time. Toilet floor flooded all the time so slippery . Drinks are terrible and are no way the same as drinks as if you were to pay . Pool area over crowded and so muddy and slippery all the time . Disabled room allocated to family so very wet bathroom all the time causing slip hazard . Staff are very good and entertainment team are good but this is a very disappointing tui holiday that I have stayed with my family . Been to lots of holidays with tui but this is so bad. Fir such a busy hotel life guards are not always at the pool areas . Plus half of restaurant has no air condition that works well and rooms very poor air conditioning
I was given a Disabled room. The Soap dispenser didn’t work even though I did go to reception and report it. I got scalded in the Shower 3 times. If you by mistake know the lever you get burnt with very Hot water Shower has no Thermostat. The night time entertainment is fair and the staff are very good. But the Stink of Drains is discusting and you can’t sit near the Bar. Because of the smell. Garden Grill has no Aircon and it’s uncomfortable to Eat in there. Although food is quite good to be fair. The main Pool Bar shuts at 5pm for Allinclusive and reopens as a paying Bar about 1 hour after. Fizzy drinks ok. Beers is fair. If you want an all inclusive cocktail it comes out of a machine and is watered down and tasteless. You can pay for the proper drink though which I think is very unfair because why should all inclusive be penalised With weak watered down drinks. Other than that good location for Beach. Pool areas are very packed and noisy
We are currently staying at this hotel, and before arriving we had read a few reviews, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect.
We are extremely happy with the hotel and all of its facilities. We are travelling with our daughter, who has coeliac disease, and the staff and managers have gone above and beyond to make sure she has a wonderful and safe experience. Their care and attention have meant a great deal to us.
The food in the restaurants is absolutely delicious and of excellent quality. Our room is cosy, clean, and well maintained. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning could have benefited from a thorough cleaning.
Whenever we needed help, everything was taken care of quickly, and every single member of the staff has been incredibly kind and helpful. They even assisted us in arranging a doctor’s appointment when our youngest daughter became ill with tonsillitis.
We truly appreciate the outstanding service and hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly holiday.
Thank you all and we are glad that we have more good days to come in this lovely hotel.
