I booked this hotel due to the price and upper class description.
We booked a double deluxe room - room was two single beds pushed together.
Room was quite dated with marks on wall and dust under bed. No small touches.
Bathroom lovely and nice rituals products, no shower cap.
Balcony nice touch for the deluxe room.
Pools good and enjoyed the roof bar.
Staff ok , not overly friendly which once again for the reputation wasn’t what I was expecting.
Don’t think I will be back.
Stayed at The Saratoga with a group of friends celebrating my husbands birthday. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the airport situated in the beautiful old town of Palma, ideal for exploring and enjoying the many restaurants and bars in the local versinity. Hotel is clean and very welcoming the reception staff were very helpful in giving directions to various attractions, ordering us taxis Also they arranged for chocolates cava and a card to be delivered to our room all complimentary Enjoyed the rooftop pool and bat with ama zing views of the marina and a backdrop of the magnificent cathedral Will definitely return to beautiful Palma and will not hesitate in booking this hotel again for our stay Thankyou to all at Saratoga Hotel
This hotel is in a great location fairly central to what you need in central Palma. It is a typical city centre hotel that is on average a 3 star, it’s definitely not a superior 4 star as advertised. Inside the hotel is a very tired decor, the air con in the rooms was very poor. Barely working. A very busy and popular hotel. The pool is deep and good for cooling down but the area around the pool was fairly unclean, with lots of used plastic glasses left around in tables with only 2 staff covering the whole pool area. I would summarise as cheap and cheerful. The staff were friendly and helpful despite being rushed off their feet.
Superb hotel, well positioned for exploring the city. Rooms were delightful and the public areas great too. Only criticism was kids in the adults only pool, which was a bit annoying. Breakfast was huge, varied and high quality and the staff were all charming. Dinner was good too. Would love to return.
First of all I would like to compliment the lovely Alba who checked us in and checked us out . This young lady excels in customer service. My booking was made last February and I requested a good view, unfortunately my room was on the sixth floor and the view was not good at all , I couldn’t go out on balcony as it was to high up and I didn’t feel comfortable on the balcony at all . Having said that the weather was way too hot so it wasn’t really a big issue otherwise I would have requested a move . The hotel itself has very good facilities and the location is superb for getting around the city . The staff are extremely friendly . Housekeeping was kept to a very good standard. The restaurant bar downstairs 1923 I think was very good a good menu with fair prices and we enjoyed drinks and food there. The pool area could have done with more attention as a lot of tables were left with used glasses and not removed . We had a great stay and out second time back to the Saratoga and we will definitely return.
